Chapter 76: His Hell
Barnum was laying in wait, Down on all fours, his face close to the ground like a predator ready to pounce! And as soon as he saw Leroy come through the hole, he lunged forward with fury in his eyes! His Jaw was wide open, ready to impale his teeth straight into Leroy!
But Leroy could see it coming! Whilst in mid-air, he reeled his leg back and delivered a stretched Crescent kick straight to the side of Barnum's Skull! Causing him to crash into a desk that was sitting against the wall!
"SLING!" Leroy's gaze shot around him to the papers flying around the room catching, He shot his hand out and caught one, looking at the contents, he quickly realized just where he was.
He was in Kirk's old Room…
Piles of papers scattered the floor and books sat around the room, tables, and drawers. The desk that Barnum had just been smashed into had a sextant, drawing compass, everything a Navigator would need to draw, and traverse sea charts and maps. There was barely even a place to sleep, merely a small spring cot in the corner of the room. Everyday in a room like this must've been hell…
Forced to be a Cartographer, and then Going out into the world to steal. He could only Imagine what that Last conversation must've been like...

"I have to Leave. Captain." Kirk spoke as he stood in the middle of his Room. The large broad shoulder of his floral shirt clinging to him as he stood tall with his black slacks and dress shoes.
"Leave?" Barnum mused as he ran a hand over a paper, picking it up. He could smell the ink on the freshly drawn parchment. A detailed and incredible drawing of the coast of Glassu in the upper northern section of the East Blue. A vibrant island known for its crystal clear waters in the atoll. The town on the island was known as Bikini for the common sight of people skinny dipping, nude and wearing beach clothes. As well as a vibrant sex culture of Casual sex.
"But you do so much good work for me. For us." His brow pinched as he looked to His Navigator. Kirks faces looked so hard, so focused and determined with tensed eyes. He was trying his best to keep a poker face.
"I know. But I told you I'd get you you're money. And I'll be able to do so faster if I take an Extended leave. If I sail out around the East Blue and gather more." He had to choose his words carefully. Very, Very Carefully. Don't seem to desperate, don't give any hints to an ulterior motive.
"Hmm." The Shark Hybrid walked over to Kirk, looming over him, even as he stood at 6'2. Barnums extra two feet was enough to loom over. He clasped Kirks chin in his hand. Looking over how he had began to cut his whiskers and his fins. But his eyes didn't meet barnums.
"Look at me." He spoke plainly.
He hated looking at him. He always tried to play it off. Just looking away in other directions, focusing on a task at hand. But now, he had to hold no disdain. He had to look.
Shifting his eyes, Kirk held a gentle look at Barnum, a plain. Simple look.
"You look much better with out the Fins. If only you were human. But you look close enough." He let go of his face. But Kirk kept eye contact.
"Alright. You can go. How long do you think it'll take you?" Finally. He relented.
"It'll probably be years."
"Years?" His eyes looked to maps. "Fine. But, You need to get me double the Charts you usually give me of the western Section. Near Louge Town. I gotta expand buisness."
"Deal."
He drew to his fingers bleed, he went through an entire well of ink, and broke so many pencils. But he got it done. Barnum never even gave him a boat, just the Ear Den Den Mushi Transceiver. And forced to hitchhike.

"This place…" Leroy's eyes looked up from the sea chart to see Barnum grabbing at his head, steading himself on a bookshelf near him "It was his Hell…Every single day…Being used and abused as nothing more than a Tool" He spoke the term with such disdain he was practically spitting venom.
"Even with him being gone for who knows how long, rather it be days, weeks, years. It's still haunting him…Even now."
Suddenly, to the surprise of Barnum who was merely watching as his opponent talked, reading himself to clash with him once more, Leroy Shot his foot backward! Causing the far wall to have a hole shoot through it! And with it, the bookcase and papers flew out and around the courtyard!
By this point, the Villagers from Cocoyashi had made their way to the battlefield and were currently looking up at the compound with anticipation. Kirk standing there among them. His hand raised to grip the sash that was still around his neck. 'Leroy…' he thought to himself as he saw the Leg of his captain shoot back into his old room before a fist crashed through another wall! The villagers watched in awe at the spectacle in front of them!
"You Wretched Fiend! What are you Doing?! Have you no idea what those are worth!" Barnum Shouted as he snapped back into a stance, ready to leap forward at Leroy! Those maps were what he used for buisness and finding better baths to get around Marines and anyone willing to stop him.
"I'll just have to bring this whole fucking building down!" Leroy's voice was coated with a sense of anger and conviction! Eyes almost on fire! He sent fist after fist into the walls and crashed into the all of the piles of maps, destroying it all!
"You Damnedable Brat I am superior to You! To Those Bottom Feeders out There! I am the Ultimate Race!" Barnum shouted back as he dashed forward straight at Leroy, who wasn't listening to a word of what he said. His teeth bared once more! Ready to try and take the head off of the captain in front of him! "Torrent Maw!"
"AND YOU'RE GOING DOWN WITH IT! ! ! " Leroy screamed!
