Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Having A Baby?

The Second Day

Accompanied by the Square Sisters, Franky took the sea train to buy parts of the legendary Adam Wood.

In addition to the Adam Wood, Iceburg was also preparing other materials needed to repair and upgrade the Going Merry.

Ace had joined Iceburg and Merry in this preparation, despite Merry insisting that as long as Ace liked her, it didn't matter what she looked like.

But Ace just smiled warmly and replied, "Merry, you're an important partner too. I can't leave the choice of your decorations to anyone else but you."

Under Iceburg's astonished gaze, Merry joined them in selecting materials. The fact that Merry could briefly leave the ship's body and move around amazed Iceburg, shaking his perception of reality.

In the end, all Iceburg could do was sigh in wonder, thinking, He truly is the man who destroyed Enies Lobby, erased the plans for Pluton, and left the World Government clueless.

Meanwhile, the Entei Pirates were enjoying a breakfast carefully prepared by Raki, though the atmosphere was slightly awkward.

"Raki, your cooking just keeps getting better!" Ace said with a laugh, praising her as he ate.

Raki blushed and hurried off to prepare more food, while Robin sat beside Ace, eating her breakfast with grace. However, there was something different about her posture.

Her deep, beautiful eyes now held a softness, a mature glow that hadn't been there before.

If Robin had once seemed mature because of her past experiences, now she exuded a true, natural maturity, both inside and out.

Kaya and Vivi, watching Robin, exchanged glances. Their expressions were complex.

They had always thought Nami would be the first to take that final step with Ace, especially since Nami had been the first to kiss him and show affection openly.

Kaya and Vivi had been waiting for Nami to lead the way, so they could follow. But now, they feared that if they continued to wait, they might miss their chance entirely.

Their faces flushed as they lowered their heads in thought, their forks absently pushing food around their plates.

Nami, too, glanced at Robin with a flicker of emotion in her eyes. She had hesitated to go further, despite her earlier boldness. After all, there were Vivi and Kaya to consider.

But now that Robin had taken the plunge, maybe she could too…?

Nami's eyes gleamed with a mix of emotions.

Next to her, Nojiko watched with an amused smile, her hand covering her mouth. Robin's actions last night had stirred things up like a catfish in a calm school of sardines, causing everyone to rethink their feelings.

Nojiko took a bite of bread, her eyes twinkling with mischief. As Nami's older sister, should she take the lead in this too?

Her face flushed slightly, and she returned to her breakfast.

Conis, on the other hand, fiddled awkwardly with her harp, her delicate fingers stumbling over the strings. Unwanted thoughts danced in her mind, fueled by the noises she'd overheard the night before.

It wasn't Conis's fault, though. Last night had been… very loud.

Shaking her head vigorously, Conis tried to clear her mind, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Tashigi, as innocent as ever, was in the same boat. Despite her naivety, she wasn't oblivious to what had happened. She sat quietly, polishing her sword handle with her head bowed, lost in thought.

Suddenly, Robin spoke up, her voice cutting through the quiet tension.

"Kaya," Robin said casually, resting her chin in her hand.

"Huh? What is it, Robin?" Kaya, who had been lost in her own thoughts, blinked and smiled nervously, surprised to hear her name.

"I'd like to ask you for some medicine," Robin said with a calm, knowing smile.

"Medicine? Oh, is it for pain relief? I'll get it right away!" Kaya said hurriedly, noticing Robin's slightly stiff posture and blushing deeply as she stood to fetch the medicine.

In her mind, Kaya thought, 'Ace must be incredible. I should probably start working on my fitness too…'

"No, it's not for pain," Robin said softly, her right index finger gliding slowly across her lips, her smile tender and filled with emotion. "I want to remember this pain."

Her words made all the girls blush and look down, recalling the events of the previous night. Robin, ever bold and unafraid to express her feelings, had left quite an impression.

Ace, too, smiled at Robin's words, watching the girls' reactions with an amused and meaningful expression.

"So, what kind of medicine do you need?" Kaya asked, trying to compose herself despite her reddened cheeks.

"I need birth control. After all, it's too early to have a child, don't you think, Captain?"

Robin traced her tongue lightly across her lips as she gazed at Ace, her smile radiating warmth.

"!!!"

Kaya, Vivi, Nami, and Nojiko all turned beet red at the mention of having Ace's child. In their minds, they each envisioned a little girl with features resembling both them and Ace, smiling and running towards them.

Their faces burned with embarrassment at the thought.

Raki and Conis exchanged glances, their faces equally flushed, while Tashigi's eyes began to glaze over, her mind drifting into a daze.

"If you want a child, I wouldn't object," Ace said with a laugh, though his heart warmed at Robin's seductive look.

Robin chuckled softly. "Let's wait until you become the King of the World, Captain. Otherwise, the Merry might get a bit crowded."

Her playful comment made Nami, Vivi, Kaya, and Nojiko tremble slightly, lowering their heads in embarrassment.

Raki and Conis exchanged another glance, realizing what Robin meant. If everyone had a child with Ace, the Merry would indeed be quite cramped.

Even Raki and Conis couldn't help but blush at the thought of it, shaking their heads to clear their minds.

Meanwhile, Tashigi, overwhelmed by the conversation, had entirely shut down. Her mind was filled with the image of a little girl who resembled both her and Ace, running toward her.

"Woo!" she whimpered softly, as her brain went into overdrive.

Ace laughed heartily, looking around at the girls. "Looks like I'll need to build a bigger territory first, huh?"

What was a woman's deepest expression of love for a man? The desire to bear his child, of course.

Ace's smile grew warmer as he watched the girls, each of them lost in their thoughts.

Sensing Ace's gaze, the girls blushed deeper and lowered their heads even further.

"I… I'll go prepare the medicine right now," Kaya said, unable to handle Ace's intense look. She stood up quickly.

"Make sure to prepare plenty, just in case," Robin added with a wave and a smile.

"Mm-hmm!" Kaya nodded, her face bright red. She wasn't just preparing the medicine for Robin but for everyone—and most importantly, for herself. She stumbled slightly as she walked towards the room, her usually balanced body now a bit wobbly due to her flustered state. Despite mastering the Six Powers technique to the point of unleashing the Six Kings Gun, it was clear how embarrassed she felt.

Ace, trying to shift the mood, picked up his fork. "Alright, let's eat—" But he stopped mid-sentence, his brow furrowing slightly.

"Ace, there are two very strong auras approaching!" Nami interrupted, her eyes widening in alarm. "One of them is…"

"Tch, seems like a troublemaker is coming," Ace muttered, rubbing his temple. But a small, defiant grin tugged at his lips. "Been a while."

Far off, in the sea just outside the city of Water 7, a naval warship with a dog's head bow was slowly approaching.

"Hey! That warship... it's…" The citizens of Water 7 gasped as the sight of the ship caused their eyes to widen in shock.

"Ah la la, Garp-san, aren't you going to answer the Fleet Admiral's call?" Aokiji asked lazily from his lounge chair, addressing the man in front of him. The admiral's wounds had mostly healed, though his body was still wrapped in bandages. His exposed skin showed burn marks, remnants of a battle fought not too long ago.

Garp picked his nose nonchalantly. "Aokiji, let Sengoku deal with it. And you—if you're not planning on going back to resign, why're you tagging along with me?"

Aokiji scratched his head. "You're just trying to avoid getting yelled at. But still, Ace really caused quite the uproar this time."

His usual lazy demeanor shifted, as a flash of awe crossed Aokiji's face. He had already been briefed about Enies Lobby by Sengoku via a secure white den-den transponder. Being an Admiral, he was privy to highly classified information, and the report he received left him stunned.

Aokiji was well-acquainted with Ace's power. They had fought not too long ago, and he knew that Ace's abilities—especially his mastery of Haki—were formidable. During that battle, Aokiji had a gut feeling that if the fight had continued, he might have been the one to fall. Even though their clash ended in a draw, with Aokiji's Devil Fruit abilities holding a slight edge, Ace's Conqueror's Haki was far too overwhelming.

But the latest report from Sengoku was even more shocking. Without using his Mera Mera no Mi powers, Ace had single-handedly defeated Gion, Chaton, two senior Vice Admirals, and several other high-ranking marines. And he did it all through sheer martial prowess and Conqueror's Haki. The sheer force of his attacks left the battlefield in ruins—one vice admiral was dead, another critically injured, while Gion and Chaton were left badly wounded.

Such raw power was a match for the likes of Kaido or Shanks, the most powerful Yonko in the New World. Ace's strength had grown exponentially in such a short time. It was nothing short of monstrous.

"Hahaha! That's my grandson!" Garp bellowed, his laughter shaking the air. "Turning the world upside down, just like I did!"

Aokiji raised an eyebrow. "Garp-san, your grandson just destroyed Enies Lobby and led to massive casualties for the Marines. You're really okay with that?"

Garp shrugged. "Enies Lobby was taken down by a Buster Call. It's not Ace's fault that the CP9 provoked him. As for the Buster Call? If it weren't for Ace showing some restraint, Gion and the others wouldn't have survived."

Aokiji sighed. "Just an 'invasion,' huh? Right…"

Despite Garp's casual tone, it was clear that the cost of angering an emperor of the sea was tremendous. If not for Ace's mercy, the entire Buster Call fleet might have been wiped out.

"Let's leave Ace situation to the Fleet Admiral. It's beyond me now," Aokiji said, yawning.

"Bwahahaha! Aokiji, you've still got a lot to learn. Let me show you what real strength is! Ace! Grandpa's here to catch you, hahaha!" Garp shouted with glee.

Aokiji shook his head, exasperated. "Capture Ace? Yeah, right…"

As Garp and Aokiji approached Water 7, Ace stood alone on the uninhabited coast, a smirk forming as he sensed their presence. Far in the distance, the girls looked on, their eyes narrowing at the sight of the approaching warship.

"They're here," Ace muttered, his eyes flashing with an intense purple-black glow.

Suddenly, with a sonic boom that tore through the air, Garp appeared above Ace, laughing loudly.

"Boom!" Garp's fist, crackling with purple-black lightning, swung down towards Ace.

"Old man!" Ace laughed, his own fist surging with the same violent energy. Both men launched their punches at the same time, the sky splitting as their fists collided, creating a shockwave that shook the very earth.
