One Piece: Heaven-Defying Luck

Chapter 10: Ctuhulu Pseudo-Template

Inside the tavern's lobby, Xun sat with a cute little girl on his lap, while Zoro was nearby. They were surrounded by dozens of white plates as they enjoyed their meal.

The exotic meat, vegetables, and even the wine that Xun was tasting for the first time made him very interested and eager for more on his journey.

"This is too delicious…"

Xun commented as the beautiful proprietress smiled cheerfully, her cheeks blushing.

"Glad you like it…"

The cute little girl cheerfully jumped in his lap.

"Right, right, Oni-chan! Mom's cooking is the best!!"

Zoro nodded in agreement as he sipped from the wine bottle beside him.

The tavern was empty, as a shocking event was unfolding in Shells Town. The infamous Morgan had actually apologized in the plaza, promising the residents that he would become a better marine. He even punished his own son and threw him into prison for reform.

Zoro suddenly spoke, his words surprising the proprietress, whose face was filled with shock. It seemed that they were all baffled by this unusual incident.

"Seems like Morgan's really gone nuts…"

Xun chuckled.

"Good people have it tough…"

Even Xun and Zoro, who were responsible for "transforming" him, were dumbfounded after hearing the news. After all, they weren't exactly 'good' people and had no clue how a 'good' person's brain worked.

The tavern's proprietress and her cute daughter stayed behind to thank Zoro, as they were grateful to him.

However, it seemed the proprietress was more interested in Xun than in expressing gratitude to Zoro. Even the clever little girl sat on Xun's lap, recounting how Zoro had saved her.

The mother and daughter duo appeared bewitched by Xun's appearance and seemed intent on getting close to him, finding ways to touch him casually.

Unfortunately for them, Xun, who had been "baptized by beauty" in the previous Korean/Japanese H-world and had already met Nami in this world, was no longer impressed by this level of charm. While the proprietress could rival top models, she still fell short compared to the top-tier 2D heroines he had seen. Now that they were "3D," they were even more breathtaking with the added dimension.

Still, this didn't stop Xun from enjoying the intense care she offered.

The proprietress approached Xun once again, placing a large amount of meat on the table. She took the opportunity to pat his shoulders and massage them with a cute smile.

"Xun-kun, here you go. You seem to like this kind of meat, so I prepared more just for you…"

The cute little girl pouted and pushed her mother's hand away. It seemed she instinctively refused any intimate acts between her 'Oni-chan' and her mother.

Zoro, meanwhile, didn't react and was grateful to the generous lady as she brought him more wine.

The warm scene was suddenly interrupted by a strange sound.

Puru…Puru…

The proprietress took out a cute-looking snail from her dress pocket, looking a little annoyed.

"Oh my! The supply ship seems to be arriving at the port. I'll have to leave for a while…"

Her cute daughter's face lit up with glee.

"Really? Mom, hurry up! I'll take care of the Oni-chans!!"

Xun looked at the quirky little girl in his lap with a speechless expression. At the same time, his gaze shifted toward the snail with genuine interest. When he had visited the marine base, he had seen many camera-like snails but hadn't thought much of them. Now, however, he suddenly felt as though he had missed out on a fortune.

"Feel free to go, ma'am. However, could you lend me that Den Den Mushi? I'm a little interested in its composition."

The lady showed a surprised expression before handing him the device with a red, flustered face. She hurriedly left the shop, bewildering him.

"Did she misunderstand something?"

Xun muttered as he innocently touched and inspected the snail, his expression focused.

Both Zoro and the little girl watched him with equal curiosity.

Zoro tilted his head and asked, "Is there something interesting about this snail? It's the first time I've seen anything like this."

The clever little girl answered Zoro with a knowing look, holding out her head for a pat from Xun, which he gladly obliged.

"This cute snail is used for communication! Mom uses it to buy all kinds of meat and vegetables from outside the island."

Xun muttered in response, "It's an information transfer biological form. It uses certain invisible, special signals to transmit all kinds of information across vast distances, almost covering the entire planet."

He was already thinking about how to transfer the knowledge in his head smoothly to his future companions. Now that he had this Den Den Mushi, all his troubles seemed to vanish.

[Your luck is against the sky. You have entered an epiphany.]

[You discovered that the Den Den Mushi uses certain signals to easily transmit knowledge. Your mind (brain) is thousands of times more developed. You have easily detected a huge number of similar signals across various lifeforms.]

[You are now aware of the special technique: Information Transmission. The whole world is coated in these signals, either from lifeforms or even the planet itself. You can use these signals as a medium to forcefully transmit transformations.]

Reflecting on this sudden surge of insight, Xun felt as though he were becoming some kind of Cthulhu-like god. After all, forcibly transmitting and processing an unlimited amount of knowledge could easily destroy a person's brain.

It reminded him of corrupt knowledge and similar settings from the famous Lord of Mysteries novel. However, Xun wasn't interested in reshaping the world; he only wanted to use this newfound technique to facilitate passing on knowledge and helping his crew grow stronger.

At that moment, the tavern's door opened, and a smiling Nami walked in.

"Did you miss me?"

Xun smiled and nodded in response.

"It's time to leave this island and continue our journey…"

Zoro and Nami both smiled in agreement, but the cute little girl on Xun's lap looked reluctant.

Patting her head gently, Xun comforted her with a soft kiss on her forehead, which immediately calmed her.

Xun sighed, an action that caught Nami's attention, earning him an exaggerated eye roll.

"What a sin!" Nami teased. "As expected, your perverse nature is hard to hide…"

Xun quickly protested, "I'm really innocent…"

The joyful ambiance lingered as the three of them finished their meal. Under the reluctant expressions of the mother and daughter, and Nami's resentful glare, the trio finally embarked on their new boat and set sail for their next destination.
