One Piece - I'm Whitebeard

Chapter 392: 391 Whitebeard War Strategy

Hearing the conversations in the ship, Momonosuke suddenly had a realization. He felt that his relationship with Whitebeard should be closer.

After all, Whitebeard had decided to take on an opponent as formidable as Kaido for him.

So, Momonosuke disregarded the person's persuasion and resumed arguing with Shirahoshi.

However, it wasn't much of a quarrel; rather, Momonosuke was unilaterally asserting himself over Shirahoshi, who was truly kind and weak.

After a while, Shirahoshi began crying loudly, quickly drawing the audience's attention.

"Shirahoshi, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Whitebeard asked with concern.

Whitebeard's concerned tone made Momonosuke feel a sense of crisis.

He thought that if Whitebeard found out he had bullied Shirahoshi, he might actually punish him.

"Grandpa Whitebeard really cares about this princess,"

Momonosuke thought. He silently prayed that Shirahoshi wouldn't make a big deal out of it, or else he would not only get punished by Whitebeard but also embarrass himself in front of everyone.

"Oyaji Whitebeard, I'm fine. I feel sentimental because I think many people will get hurt in the war,"

Shirahoshi said, quickly wiping away her tears.

"Oh, I see. But don't worry, I promise there won't be many casualties this time," Whitebeard said with a smile.

Whitebeard had a plan in mind. He intended to launch a war on Kaido with only a small number of his elite fighters, while the regular crew and allied pirate groups would focus on controlling and liberating Wanokuni.

In the following meeting, Whitebeard continued to allow these people to discuss and communicate at will, and express their opinions.

However, most people's ideas revolved around concentrating forces for a head-on battle with Kaido.

They all believed that confronting Kaido's forces directly was the best approach while showcasing their own capabilities at the same time

However, this approach goes against Whitebeard's idea. It wouldn't be hard for Whitebeard to gather all the pirates' power under his command.

But in a full-scale war like this, there would surely be many casualties on the battlefield.

In the end, Benjamin offered some constructive suggestions. He said, "I think we can create small special teams based on our fighting styles and strengths. These teams can work together and have a big impact on the battlefield."

"Also, we need to be prepared for a possible attack from the Marines. They are likely to take advantage of our war and make a deal with Kaido to wipe us out."

Benjamin continued.

After hearing Benjamin's words, everyone suddenly realized how sensible they were. Benjamin's words also served as a wake-up call because most hadn't considered the Marines at that moment; they were still caught up in the excitement of dealing with Kaido.

"Creating special teams? Benjamin, that's a great idea. But before we announce our attack on Kaido, let's first reveal the lineup of our Whitebeard Pirates to the world," Whitebeard said with a playful grin.

Four supernovae and a former Marine Admiral are currently on their ship, but this news hasn't spread worldwide yet. S

o, Whitebeard plans to make the outside world more aware of the current Whitebeard Pirate.

"Hahaha, Aokiji used to be with the Marines, but now he's one of us pirates. I wonder what kind of reaction the Marine Headquarters will have when they hear about this?" Marco said with anticipation.

"Is it necessary to say, of course, their face will ashen, as if they had eaten shit, hahaha." Jozu said with a smile, which also caused other people to laugh.

"If this happens, the Marines won't be able to stay calm. Akainu must be wanting to question me," Aokiji remarked casually.

"It would be best if Akainu came to you. You can wipe away the shame," Whitebeard said to him.

"Oyaji, who are we up against? Do we really need such a big battle?"

Enel couldn't help but wonder. He was clueless about the outside world, knowing little about the Four Emperors like Kaido or the Marines.

Enel understood the strength of the Whitebeard Pirate and how many powerful individuals they had dispatched.

He couldn't think of any other force that could match them. Was there really a force that made Whitebeard pirates need to deploy so many powerful individuals?

"Kaido is known as the strongest creature and one of the Four Emperors. You'll see for yourself when you meet him later. He shouldn't disappoint you," Whitebeard explained briefly.

"Well, now I'm really interested, Oyaji. Can I fight this Kaido?" Enel said excitedly.

"Do you want to fight Kaido alone? That's impossible. Kaido's power is beyond your imagination,"

Aokiji immediately told Enel. He sensed Enel's confidence came because he know nothing about Kaido.

To be the existence of Four Emperors, none of them are easy to provoke. They even overshadow Marine Admirals in terms of power and influence.

But Enel wasn't convinced. Even though he didn't know Kaido well, he was familiar with the other Four Emperors and felt he could judge by comparison.

So Enel immediately asked Aokiji, "Is Kaido stronger than Oyaji?"

Aokiji was momentarily speechless at the rhetorical question. After a brief pause, he replied with a little embarrassment: "No."

How can Kaido be compared to Whitebeard? Though both are Four Emperors, to the world, Whitebeard is more than that. His strength makes him the King of the Pirates and ruler of the seas.

No matter how perverted and powerful Kaido is, this is the only thing that Aokiji is certain of, and everyone is certain, that is, Kaido is not an opponent of Whitebeard.

Enel then said, "If Kaido can't compare to Oyaji, then what am I afraid of? I'll fight him no matter what."

"Guurarara, you're very confident, but Kaido isn't someone you can handle alone, and he has many strong crew. You won't have trouble finding opponents. Besides, you have an important task," Whitebeard said suddenly with a smile.

"What task, Oyaji?" Enel asked right away.

"Your wide range of skills can be used to clean up the battlefield, so you alone are equivalent to an army. You can also cover the battlefield and support other crew" Whitebeard said.

"Huh? Let me play support?" Enel's disappointment was evident in his sudden response.
