Chapter 49: 049 Isolated Small Island, Mrs Shipwreck
"Ah, you're awake,"
Said a girl with black hair, coming over with two coconuts.
When Lynch woke up, she drop the coconuts aside and run over to him.
"This is the first time I've seen someone like you,"
"You've been in a coma for a month without eating, and you're still alive. If you weren't still breathing, I would have thought you were dead."
Despite being on an isolated island, the girl's beauty was undeniable.
"Wait, did you say I was in a coma for a month? What day is it today?" Lynch asked.
The girl thought for a moment. "If I remember correctly, it should be mid-August."
"Mid-August..." Lynch realized it was only June when he set sail.
So, he drifted at sea for a month and a half, and was unconscious on land for another month?
How did he survive...
Lynch felt incredible for himself.
"Drink some water first. Your mouth is very dry."
The girl thought Lynch was remembering something sad, so she cracked a coconut and brought it to Lynch's mouth.
"Thanks."
Lynch took a swig, and the coconut juice flowed from his mouth into his stomach.
"It tastes good. Can I have some more?" he said, still wanting to drink.
"Okay, there are a lot of coconuts on this isolated island."
As she spoke, the girl opened a few more coconuts for Lynch.
With the water, Lynch felt warmer and the body is slowly recovering.
"Ha~ I'm saved. Thank you so much. I haven't asked for your name yet."
"Roddy. Just call me Roddy," the girl replied.
Lynch nodded, "My name is Lynch. I heard you say this is an isolated island. How did you get here?"
Roddy pointed to a small pile of broken wooden boards on the rocks and said, "It was a shipwreck. My ship is gone."
"Okay, Miss Shipwrecked, let me ask one last question. Why are you tying me up?"
"Because—"
While Roddy was talking, suddenly a five-meter-tall tiger walked out of the forest.
Roddy used her hands and feet to climb to the top of the coconut tree with a whoosh.
"Blue and white striped ones..." Lynch muttered, raising his head.
The tiger walked slowly and deftly to Lynch. It was obviously not the first time he had done this.
It opened its mouth suddenly, bit Lynch's leg, and began to grind its teeth.
"Get off me! I'm not a chew toy!"
Lynch shouted, kicking the tiger.
The tiger yelped and retreated, leaving behind a few broken teeth.
Soon, lions, wild boars, leopards, and other beasts emerged from the forest.
Unable to bite Lynch, they instead used him to grind their teeth and taste his flesh.
"So you were worried I'd be picked off by wild beasts—thanks for that,"
Lynch said, breaking free from his restraints.
He punched a wild boar in front of him, killing it instantly. The other beasts, seeing his strength, scattered in fear.
"Come down and eat some meat. Don't just stand there," Lynch called up to the girl.
"Okay," the girl said, sliding down the tree trunk.
She looked at Lynch with admiration and said:
"You're so strong! You killed that huge wild boar with just one punch," Roddy said.
"It's nothing. I've taken down bigger ones," Lynch replied.
"Don't just stand there. Come help us out. Let's have a barbecue!"
"Barbecue!" Roddy exclaimed in surprise.
On the deserted island, a man and a woman worked together.
An hour later, they had delicious roast pork.
Roddy ate gracefully but quickly, devouring pieces of wild boar meat and getting her mouth covered in oil.
"Woooooo~ This is delicious."
Roddy added, "To be honest, I've been eating only coconuts for a month. I almost feel sick just looking at them now."
She enjoyed the meal so much that she almost cried.
"Eat more, you're welcome."
"Yes, you're such a good person," the girl nodded vigorously.
Lynch ate heartily, his energy was replenished, and his injuries recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The girl opened her mouth wide, "Okay, that's awesome."
"Haha, I'm a Zoan Devil Fruit user, so it's normal for me," Lynch replied.
"Devil Fruit," the girl said, seeming familiar with the term, but she didn't ask more about it.
Lynch glanced at the leaf skirt he was wearing and said, "I'm sorry you had to make this for me."
"Stupid... stupid, don't say this." The girl said, blushing.
Being reminded by Lynch, the ugly things that had been forgotten in her mind came back
"Have you thought about leaving in the past month?" Lynch asked.
"I have, but it's so remote here. There hasn't been a passing ship in a month," the girl replied.
"What's more, what would you do if I left?".
The girl suddenly choked and hit her plump chest hard with her small fists, causing waves to rise and fall.
Lynch looked away and said, "How about I take you with me?"
The girl shook her head and replied, "Stop bragging. I know you're strong, but you don't know how to build a ship."
"Why use a boat? I can fly. Just wait until I finish eating."
After finishing a seven-meter-long wild boar, Lynch had fully recovered.
"Come, lie on my back, and I'll take you away."
The girl looked at him with wide, watery eyes, as if to ask, Are you serious?
"What are you waiting for? Come on."
The girl hesitated for a moment, then slowly climbed onto Lynch's back.
"So soft,"
Lynch felt like he had a warm, soft ball on his back, with two large, gentle weights pressing down.
The girl blushed and put her hands in front of her chest.
"Hold me tight with your hands, or I won't care if you fall down."
"Okay...okay."
The girl took her hand away from her chest again.
Suddenly, a halo of black, burning flames appeared behind Lynch.
With Roddy on his back, he floated as if defying gravity.
Lynch realized that the halo, which seemed different after he woke up, allowed him to fly.
"Wow, you can really fly! That's amazing,"
Roddy said, watching the ground get farther away. She suddenly felt scared and hugged Lynch tightly, not daring to let go.
"So big and so soft!" Lynch thought to himself. He hadn't noticed that the girl kept it hidden.
...
Two days later, on the vast sea, Lynch and the girl reached a small town.
"Looks like we got lucky," Lynch said, feeling relieved.
Without a log pose, finding an island in the vast seas of Grand LIne would be extremely difficult. If they were unlucky, it could be months before they saw anyone
"Well, you've worked hard these past few days," the girl said, feeling grateful.
Sleeping on Lynch's back for two days made her feel protected for the first time in her life, and her attitude toward him had become much warmer.
To avoid scaring the townspeople, they landed at a distance and walked into the town.
Luckily, Lynch had spare clothes in his storage ring, so he didn't have to run around naked.
"Alright, Roddy, I'll help you find a safe place. Then we're even."
Roddy grabbed Lynch's hand nervously, "Are you going to leave me too?"
"?"
Lynch looked at the beautiful girl, wondering if he was being taken advantage of.
Roddy knew that to avoid being abandoned, she had to prove her worth.
She suddenly seemed to have made up her mind and dragged Lynch in one direction,
"Follow me."
