One Piece: Signing In as a Pirate Begins with Roger's Execution

Chapter 129: Chapter 129: Steam Princess

"What? Sell myself as a slave? What do you mean by that?"

Hearing Karl's words, Rayleigh was taken aback for a moment, then began stroking his beard thoughtfully.

Sitting nearby and casually sipping his drink, Karl presented his mischievous idea to Rayleigh.

He explained to Rayleigh the method the older version of him would eventually use for both entertainment and earning money, as seen in the original story.

After all, it wouldn't take long for Rayleigh to come up with this idea on his own. Karl was merely nudging him to act sooner.

More importantly, Rayleigh doing this would effectively disrupt the slave trade on the Sabaody Archipelago and protect the enslaved individuals there.

This would be one of the few righteous deeds Rayleigh could do.

"Interesting idea. I might give it a try someday," Rayleigh replied. "But why are you telling me this? You're a Marine—an agent of the World Government and a Celestial Dragon. Isn't it inappropriate for someone in your position to suggest something like this to me?"

Rayleigh's sharp gaze softened slightly as he looked at Karl.

Karl shook his head with a self-deprecating smile.

"Heh, don't overthink it. I'm just using you to strike a blow against the slave traders on Sabaody.

"I can't stay here all the time, but if you follow my advice, the Archipelago might become a bit more peaceful.

"Whether you get caught or not will depend on your luck."

Karl downed the rest of his drink and stepped away from the bar.

"Alright, I've said what I wanted to say. The rest is up to you two.

"If I find out you've done something illegal or caused harm, I'll come back personally to take you both down!"

"Hahaha, Karl, your tone is as bold as ever!" Rayleigh chuckled. "But don't worry. I'm too old to play cat and mouse with you Marines."

Satisfied, Karl nodded, pushed the door open, and prepared to leave.

Just then, a petite girl in a red qipao, no taller than 1.6 meters, suddenly collided with him.

Feeling the softness in his arms, Karl froze.

It was none other than a young Boa Hancock, still just a child!

"Who dares stand in my way!"

The little girl emperor shook herself free from Karl's grasp, raised her leg to expose her thigh, and prepared to attack.

But as soon as she looked up and saw Karl's face—the one she had been dreaming of—her face turned crimson.

"Why… why is it you?!"

"You bumped into me. Why can't it be me…?" Karl scratched his head, puzzled by Hancock's reaction.

"Scoundrel! You tricked me!"

Hancock's inexplicable fury flared as she leapt into the air, aiming a kick at Karl's face.

Without much effort, Karl caught her leg and effortlessly flipped her upside down, rendering her defenseless.

Now, with her head pointing toward the ground, one hand covering her face, and the other holding down her dress, Hancock's entire body flushed red.

At that moment, Karl suddenly remembered he hadn't "checked in" with Hancock yet.

"Check-in with Boa Hancock successful. Skin texture improved. Congratulations, Host, on becoming even more irresistibly handsome!"

Karl's lip twitched. He had completely forgotten about this check-in system.

At least the reward wasn't bad—it made him even more attractive.

While there wasn't a mirror to confirm the changes, the way Shakky was looking at him gave Karl a good idea.

"Big sister!"

At that moment, Hancock's two younger sisters appeared at the bar's entrance.

Seeing their elder sister dangling upside down by her ankle, they instinctively wanted to rush forward and help.

But when they recognized Karl, they froze.

They had witnessed Karl saving them in the past, so even though their sister was now in such an undignified position, they dared not act rashly, fearing a misunderstanding.

"What's going on here?"

Breaking the awkward silence, an aged but authoritative voice called out.

An elderly Gloriosa, hunched over her cane, entered the bar.

"Help me…!" Hancock pleaded, mortified.

Seeing the scene before her, Gloriosa sighed and approached Karl, her face slightly flushed.

"Ahem… Karl, could you let Hancock go?

"If she's offended you in any way, I sincerely apologize on her behalf."

The elderly woman even bowed deeply to Karl.

Feeling a bit awkward, Karl scratched his head and released Hancock's leg.

Thud!

Hancock landed headfirst on the ground but didn't cry. Instead, she curled up, hugging her legs and glaring at Karl with a deeply resentful expression.

"Gloriosa, it's been a long time. You've aged quite a bit," Karl remarked casually, activating his "Woman's Ally" title for effect.

With so many women around, including the young Hancock sisters, this was the perfect opportunity for the title to shine.

However, Karl hadn't expected Gloriosa's reaction.

The old woman's cheeks turned a deep shade of red, while Hancock and her sisters stared at Karl with increasingly complex expressions. Even Shakky, who had been quietly smoking, poured him a drink without hesitation.

Rayleigh, witnessing this scene, was utterly baffled.

For the first time, he realized just how much women seemed to favor Karl.

"You're too kind, Karl. I'm old, and aging is natural," Gloriosa replied, her voice trembling slightly. "But you—you haven't changed at all. In fact, you've grown even more handsome. It's almost unfair."

Karl shuddered, goosebumps forming all over his body.

He immediately deactivated the title, regretting his little experiment.

What kind of horrifying reaction was this? The combination of his enhanced looks and the title was terrifying!

"Ahem… let's not dwell on that. I actually came here to talk to Hancock," Karl said, changing the subject.

"You want to talk to me?" Hancock blinked, her face reddening further as she stepped back nervously.

"N-no! I don't want to talk to you, you liar! You're so handsome, but you're still a liar!"

"How am I a liar? What nonsense is this?" Karl asked, utterly baffled.

"You're a liar! A big liar! You're a Celestial Dragon! Why didn't you tell me that? You jerk!"

"What does that have to do with you? Why would I need to tell you? Who even are you to me?" Karl retorted, confused.

Hancock opened her mouth to reply but froze, steam visibly rising from her head like a human boiler.

Purely mechanical, eco-friendly, and non-toxic—just slightly prone to overheating.

Seeing this, Karl sighed and walked over, gently patting Hancock's head.

"It's just a small matter. I want to talk to you alone; it won't take long."

Before he could finish, Hancock, overwhelmed with embarrassment, suddenly lashed out with a kick.

"Perfume Femur—!"
