It wasn't just Rowen who didn't expect it— probably no one could have anticipated who the other enemy that infiltrated G-10 would be.

*Zzzzzz...*

In the dim alley, the crackle of electricity echoed.

A figure sat cross-legged on the ground, leaning against the wall. At that moment, he opened his eyes and turned his head to the side.

"You don't seem like a man who meddles in other people's affairs, Mihawk..."

A tall figure blocked the sunlight, casting a large shadow.

Rowen, holding his thunder halberd, appeared at the entrance of the alley, his back to the sun as he looked down at him without any expression on his face. "What's this? Did Shanks send you?"

That's right!

The source of Rowen's lingering unease about Kuma's threat was none other than the world's greatest swordsman, "Hawk Eyes" Mihawk!

"As expected, nothing escapes you, Vice Admiral Soryu (Azure Dragon) ."

Mihawk didn't seem surprised by Rowen's appearance.

Standing up without a hint of emotion, Mihawk brushed the dust off his wine-colored coat and calmly faced Rowen in the narrow alley, completely unafraid.

"So why haven't you acted yet?"

Rowen tilted his head slightly, chuckling. "If you had cooperated with Kuma in a surprise attack, you might have really had a chance to rescue Monkey D. Luffy."

These two could be said to be the only members of the Shichibukai who were truly worthy of their titles!

Back in the day, the Oka Shichibukai could stand on equal footing with the Marine Headquarters and the Yonko, earning the title of the "Three Great Powers of the Grand Line." Without a doubt, Mihawk and Kuma's strength contributed at least 50% to that balance.

The remaining 50% came from the influence of their forces and wealth.

Otherwise… Crocodile? Defeated by Whitebeard's crew.

Moria? Defeated by Kaido.

"Pirate Empress" Hancock? Content to stay on Amazon Lily for self-entertainment.

"Sea Hero" Jinbe? A pawn who merely connected with Fish-Man Island.

With these small fry, how could they be on par with the Yonko? They didn't even have the qualifications!

Faced with Rowen's curiosity, Mihawk shook his head slowly and then suddenly let out a cold laugh.

"You will probably never understand, Soryu (Azure Dragon), how dazzling the resolve of a man willing to give up his life for his belief is."

"Oh… and then what?"

Rowen didn't get angry; he had the calm demeanor of someone who could remain unbothered no matter the situation.

After all, someone as selfish as Rowen, living only for himself, wouldn't care much about understanding others.

He wasn't even interested in explaining.

"So, until Kuma fails, I won't act."

Mihawk returned to his usual calm, looking directly at Rowen. "That is the last respect I can offer him."

Rowen frowned slightly. "So, Shanks has already told you Kuma's true identity?"

One question remained: Why would Mihawk listen to Shanks? The two were both rivals and friends, not subordinates.

So, the motivation driving Mihawk to infiltrate G-10 must lie within himself.

If this matter involved Shanks, then considering the current situation, the answer was clear.

Shanks had told Mihawk Kuma's story, and then… humorously enough, Mihawk, driven by a surge of emotion, agreed to come to G-10 to help.

This was Mihawk!

The man who disdainfully refrained from building a crew, sailing the seas alone with just a sword and a boat, "Hawk Eyes" Mihawk!

You could almost call him a mirror image of Red-Haired Shanks.

Who would've thought that beneath the aloof mask of the world's greatest swordsman, there still existed a fiery passion within his heart?

Moved by Kuma's willingness to risk his life, Mihawk agreed to Shanks' request.

The incident with Rayleigh had clearly strained Shanks' relationship with the World Government, though Rowen wasn't privy to the details. He could only deduce from the diminishing activity of the Red-Haired Pirates that Shanks couldn't involve himself too much with the Revolutionary Army this time around.

Thus, he had to rely on others.

"Well, who knows?"

Mihawk didn't answer the question directly but crossed his arms, speaking calmly: "Here I am. What do you plan to do, Vice Admiral Soryu (Azure Dragon) ?"

"You… guess?!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, it was like a dragon emerging from the sea, unstoppable.

The thunder halberd cut a fierce arc through the air, slicing through the walls on both sides, heading straight for Mihawk's neck.

However...

Shuā!!

The crescent blade stopped less than a centimeter from Mihawk's neck. At that distance, Rowen was confident he could have decapitated him with just a bit more force.

But it stopped— suddenly, transitioning from motion to stillness in an instant.

Mihawk, unfazed by the close call, maintained his calm gaze, looking at Rowen without showing any relief or making any move to resist.

"Now I believe you when you say you won't act unless Kuma fails, Mihawk."

Rowen withdrew his Thunder Dragon crescent-sided halberd and casually swung it. The accumulated electrical charge shot into the sky, exploding against the thunderclouds, creating a fireworks-like display.

"Next, please rest in the guest lounge. I wouldn't want anyone accusing me of disrespecting the government."

Until he had the strength to bulldoze through everything, Rowen wouldn't break the rules on his own accord. He was a beneficiary of the system, so he needed to uphold its authority. Otherwise, what difference would there be between him and the Revolutionary Army or pirates?

Attacking a Shichibukai would be like slapping the government in the face. As long as the system wasn't abolished, it would remain a thorn in the side of the Marines.

"Thank you."

Mihawk nodded, glancing at the soldiers who had been drawn to the commotion behind Rowen, before adding:

"However, I believe he will succeed, Vice Admiral Soryu (Azure Dragon). And personally, I just wish to have a proper fight with you."

"Should I feel honored, then?"

Rowen chuckled. "The World's Greatest Swordsman, Hawk Eyes, is actually interested in fighting someone who isn't even a swordsman?"

Mihawk said nothing, simply shaking his head as he walked towards the group of soldiers, who watched him warily.

As Rowen watched his retreating figure, his smile faded, and a surging killing intent rose within him.

"It seems like it's time to do something... to show the world some truths."

Being envied was nothing to Rowen. He didn't seek envy— he sought fear. Fear so overwhelming that his enemies wouldn't even dare to feel jealous!

...

On the frontlines, the teamwork between Ain and Dante proved effective. However, as the primary attacker, Dante couldn't replicate the seamless combos he used with Law, and before long, he found himself on the defensive.

Luckily, Ain's Modo Modo no Mi (Return-Return Fruit) was a power that Kuma couldn't afford to touch.

Whenever danger arose, a pink energy sphere would force Kuma to hold back. Reverting twelve years once or twice was manageable, but if it kept happening, Kuma knew he would eventually disappear!

Thus, he needed to deal with Ain first.

As Dante's slash missed its target, Kuma suddenly pushed his palm forward.

Blink!

All air resistance vanished, and Kuma moved with such speed that even Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) couldn't predict it, appearing in front of Ain, who was several meters away, in an instant.

"I'm sorry, Colonel Ain."

Kuma's voice was calm as his towering seven-meter frame looked down at the stunned Ain. Leaning down, he pushed his palm forward: "If you're going on a trip, where would you like to go?"

Ain had been focused on preventing Kuma from using his powers to send the Straw Hat Pirates flying. She never expected that she would become the target instead! Kuma's ability to seize opportunities caught her completely off guard. All she could do was watch as the paw-shaped hand approached her.

She might not die from the impact, but what came next would no longer involve her.

However, just as Kuma's hand was about to hit her, a bolt of lightning exploded in front of her, blocking her view with the sudden flare of a Justice cloak fluttering in the wind. All she saw was a flash of black light shielding her.

"Sorry, but she's not going anywhere!"

Rowen stood before her, his thunder halberd raised horizontally, grinning as he revealed his sharp, white teeth.

Bang!!

The impact from Kuma's palm reverberated through Rowen's body, sinking into the ground beneath him. Instantly, the surrounding area exploded, forming cracks like a spider web with Rowen at the center.

Kuma's eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of Rowen's sudden appearance.

"The main player finally shows up, Soryu (Azure Dragon)!!"
