Whoosh!

Two streaks of light, one red and one white, flashed across the sky, erupting into a black sphere that threatened to engulf the entire Red Line.

BOOM!!

A cataclysmic explosion rocked the Red Line, its tremors felt across the world. Even the colossal dragon, which had effortlessly defeated three of the Five Elders, trembled under the pressure of the blast.

When the dust settled, a gigantic crater of unfathomable depth scarred the Red Line. Im, was mangled, half his body shredded.

Yet, he was regenerating. His pitch-black form offered no hint of his emotions. Ian couldn't tell if this was time reversal or if Im was shifting his body into another dimension, similar to Obito Uchiha's Kamui. He was slowly reforming.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!

The battle between Ian and Im raged, a clash of titans that defied the laws of nature. This was the power of gods, a domain beyond the reach of even the Yonko. Both Ian and Im were injured, though Ian's wounds were more severe.

But with his High-Speed Regeneration, Ian's flesh and bone rapidly mended, as if he had never been harmed. Im, too, seemed invincible, utilizing time reversal, dimensional shifting, and other techniques, a testament to the terrifying power of the Time-Time and Space-Space Fruits.

Im hovered in the air, his body surrounded by a multitude of dark blades, each radiating a spatial distortion. They shot towards Ian, who retaliated with a barrage of Cero Oscuras.

The attacks collided mid-air, unleashing a series of devastating explosions. The battle was a stalemate, neither able to gain the upper hand. Space itself trembled under the force of their clash.

"Devil, is this all you've got? How disappointing." Im's voice was devoid of emotion as he stared at Ian, who had entered his Segunda Etapa.

"Did I say this was my full strength? Tercera Etapa."

Ian raised his right hand. With a deafening roar, he unleashed his Tercera Etapa. His spiritual pressure exploded, forming a black tempest that spiraled into the sky.

The Red Line itself trembled, as if unable to withstand the sheer force of his power. The storm dissipated, and black, feather-like energy rained down, revealing Ian's transformed state. His hair had grown longer, turning from black to white.

His eyes had become golden, his pupils slitted like a dragon's. His tail had turned white, its tip burning with a dark, ethereal flame. The horns on his head had transformed into twin flames of dark energy.

The black markings on his arms had receded, replaced by dark green patterns that seemed to provide him with power. His bat-like wings had sprouted black feathers, transforming into the wings of a fallen angel. This was his Tercera Etapa.

Within him, the Devil Fruit Tree had withered. Almost all of its fruit had vanished, consumed to fuel his transformation, pushing his template fusion to 90%.

Ian's current form resembled the fallen angels of those legends, a form unseen even in the Bleach anime, existing only in games.

"A fallen angel, is it? Another transformation, and you've absorbed that old man's power? I must admit, you are a monster, far stronger than I anticipated. But do you think you can defeat me with just two Mythical Zoan fruits?"

"If you can't kill me instantly, I will eventually defeat you. Of course, if you wish, I don't mind making you my envoy, granting you power second only to mine."

Im remained calm, his voice laced with arrogance. Even if Ian was his equal in power, what of it? With the power of time and space, he could travel anywhere in the world. He could heal any injury.

He was immortal, unkillable. And indeed, as the battle raged, Ian had noticed this as well.

No matter how grievous the wound, even if he pierced Im's heart, he would slowly regenerate. This was the true power of the Time-Time Fruit. He was truly immortal. Even if he couldn't defeat Ian, he could outlast him.

"Is that so? An immortal body, and the ability to travel anywhere in space. It's certainly unique. But the body is merely a vessel. There are ways to destroy you."

Ian's voice was calm, his expression serene. He raised his hand, and spiritual power coalesced, forming a Zanpakuto.

"I forgot to mention. My true strength isn't in brute force, but in the mastery of the soul."

Ian's voice was indifferent as he spoke. An immortal body was meaningless without a soul. And in this world, few could cultivate their soul to a significant degree.

"And… I'm also a swordsman, you see."

As he spoke, Ian looked down at the ruined Holy Land of Mary Geoise, his eyes cold and detached.

Hum!!

It was as if he had grasped the very fabric of space. Under the distortion of space, it seemed as if he held the entire world in his hand. Then, he swung his Zanpakuto downwards, towards the Holy Land, towards the Red Line.

"Can you only defend?"

A flicker of emotion crossed Im's face. He sensed that Ian's soul had enveloped the entire world, locking onto him. There was nowhere to run. It was as he had said. His true strength lay in his mastery over the soul.

"Shinra Tensei!" (Almighty Push)

Im extended his hands, unleashing a wave of repulsive force that seemed to encompass the entire world. The earth buckled and shattered, a colossal wave of debris rising into the air, threatening to engulf the Red Line itself.

It seemed he, too, possessed this power. But in this world, it was likely just another application of his spatial manipulation. Ian's gaze was cold as he brought his Zanpakuto down.

Silently, the air rippled, distorting as the attack descended. It was like a drop of water falling into a still pond.

The two powers collided, yet there was no sound.

The wave of debris pushed outwards by Im's Shinra Tensei, threatening to shatter the Red Line and engulf everything in its path, was suddenly split in two. Even the repulsive force of the Almighty Push was torn apart.

The slash, seemingly unstoppable, continued towards Im, who was unable to evade while using Shinra Tensei.

"No way!!!"

His all-out attack, capable of destroying the entire Red Line, had been effortlessly sliced apart by Ian's sword.

It was… absurd.

The slash continued its descent.

It passed through Im's body, continuing towards the earth below. Time seemed to freeze.

To everyone watching, the slash appeared to move in slow motion, a consequence of its exceeding the speed of light, distorting their perception.

Im's body was frozen, unable to move, yet his mind was still active. Or perhaps, he was already dead, his soul trapped in a temporal anomaly, forced to witness his own demise.

Shhh!!

The slash descended, passing through everything in its path. Space itself seemed to compress, to fold, as if the world itself were being sliced in two.

It was as if a god had taken a blade and cleaved the world in half.

Silently, the slash struck the earth.

A black fissure appeared where the blade had passed, a tear in the fabric of reality. The fissure extended downwards, seemingly without end. It was as if it had pierced the very heart of the world.

Im's mind, in that final moment, was filled with only one thought, not of analysis or understanding, but of primal fear. The fear of a mortal facing a god, a being of a higher dimension.

If he were a god who controlled time and space, then Ian was a god who could create and destroy worlds, a god above gods.

This was no longer a power that humans could wield. This was… the power of a God.

The black fissure reached Mary Geoise, and the Holy Land was instantly annihilated, reduced to dust, swallowed by the void.

In that final instant, Im's frozen body showed a flicker of emotion. Not fear, not anger, not even resignation. It was disbelief. He could not comprehend how Ian could possess such power, the power to destroy worlds.

To fight a god was to invite death. The Celestial Dragons, in their final moments, were filled with terror and disbelief. They cried out, proclaiming themselves to be the descendants of the creators, gods themselves.

But their cries were silenced, their arrogance and cruelty rendered meaningless in the face of absolute power.

They were nothing but pretenders, their titles hollow and empty.

Only a being like Ian, who possessed the power to destroy the world, could be called a true god. The Holy Land was swallowed by the void. The black fissure continued its descent, cleaving the Red Line in two.

Silently…

The spatial distortion caused by the slash began to mend, the void filling with the Turbulence of space. The fissure that had split the Red Line, stretching all the way to Sabaody Archipelago, began to close. In an instant, the world-splitting wound vanished.

Along with it vanished the Holy Land of Mary Geoise… and a portion of the Red Line itself.

Rumble… Rumble… With the disappearance of the spatial rift, the ocean surged, monstrous waves crashing against the fractured Red Line, quickly filling the newly formed chasm.

This single slash had connected the first and second halves of the Grand Line.

Days later, in Sabaody Archipelago…

"Hey, Kid, are we going to force our way through the God Strait, or take the underwater passage through Fish-Man Island?" The members of the Kid Pirates were gathered in a restaurant, discussing their route to the New World.

The destruction of Mary Geoise and the cleaving of the Red Line had created a new passage, dubbed the God Strait.

The God Strait was vast. Even though the New World Government had stationed troops there, and the Marines patrolled the area, many daring pirates still attempted to force their way through.

Often, they were halfway through before they were detected. Perhaps one in ten ships made it through successfully.

After all, the God Strait was immense.

"Of course we're going through the God Strait. I'm a man who's been beaten by a god!" Kid declared, taking a swig of his drink and slamming the bottle on the table. He grinned, his eyes gleaming with ambition.

"Eustass Kid… are you planning to force your way through the God Strait, too…?" A voice, laced with mockery, interrupted their discussion.

It was Scratchmen Apoo and his crew.

"You got a problem with that?!" Kid, his face cold, stood up, ready for a fight. The tavern erupted in chaos. Apoo was thrown out, landing gracefully on his feet. Kid emerged from the tavern, his crew urging caution..

"I doubt anyone here wants to back down and take the long way around through Fish-Man Island."

"I'm more interested in how the God Strait was formed. That Black-Winged Devil has connections to you, me, and Straw Hat, hasn't he? Word is, Fire Fist Ace left Whitebeard and reformed the Spade Pirates. You and he were both helped by that God, weren't you?"

"He's a Supernova from two years ago, just like Straw Hat, and his brother. He's been in the New World for a while now. He won't be easy to deal with."

"Hmph, I just let him run ahead for a couple of years…" Kid said arrogantly.
