After thoroughly defeating this Neptune-type Sea King, Roja slowly sheathed his Blade Ruohuo.
He ran a hand through his hair and smirked slightly, "Oh, it seems like Hancock and the others must have seen it."
Pausing for a moment, Roja looked up at the warship in the sky, activating his spell ability.
As Roja returned to the warship, he thought to himself: Well, if they saw it, they saw it. There are no other outsiders, right?
As soon as he reappeared on the warship, a small figure rushed toward him.
Before he knew it, Hancock had jumped into his arms.
She held him tightly, gazing up with eyes full of admiration.
"Roja, Roja, you're amazing!!!"
Hancock's face flushed slightly, though it was unclear whether it was from shyness or the heat from the flames.
She continued, "And you're so handsome, looking so gentle!"
Roja's lips curved into a slight smile. He lovingly stroked her hair, saying, "Alright, let's continue our journey to Nine Snake Island."
He adjusted his cloak as he spoke.
Throughout all of this, Hancock's eyes remained fixed on Roja.
Let's be honest—what girl wouldn't be infatuated?
Roja had rescued them from prison, used his immense power to defeat Kizaru, and even a 5,000-meter Sea King was nothing compared to him.
But the most important thing to her was the Phoenix Nirvana pattern he had personally marked her with—a symbol she adored.
"Ahhh~ I'm so shy~!"
"Sister, what's wrong?" Marigold and Sandersonia looked at Hancock, puzzled.
"Are you alright, Sister? Your face is so red!" Sandersonia added, clearly concerned.
Roja noticed that Hancock seemed to be overwhelmed with excitement.
As he looked out ahead, he spotted a hazy silhouette growing larger.
The island gradually came into view. Towering peaks rose up, and in the center, nine serpent heads could be seen looking out across the horizon.
As Roja guided the warship to descend, he spoke to Hancock, "Hancock, it looks like we've arrived at Nine Snake Island."
Hancock snapped out of her daze, her eyes briefly meeting Roja's, as though she could sense what was hidden beneath his cloak.
"Roja, will we meet again someday?" Hancock asked, her voice tinged with a trace of reluctance.
Roja saw the deep attachment in her gaze. Kneeling down in front of her, he spoke sincerely, "Hancock, we will meet again."
Hancock nodded, her eyes determined.
"Sister~" Marigold and Sandersonia approached, sensing Hancock's emotional state.
"I'm fine," Hancock said, taking a deep breath to compose herself. "Roja, let's go."
"Yes."
Roja levitated himself and the three women with his spell, landing on Nine Snake Island.
The moment his feet touched the ground, the system's voice echoed in his mind:
[Ding! Congratulations to the host for successfully signing in and obtaining: Peak Armed Color Mastery! Armed Haki is the key to becoming a true powerhouse on the seas. Mastering it at its peak is a goal sought by many, but few can ever attain it!]
Roja felt a surge of warmth flow through him, and a violent power awakened within his body. However, this newfound strength would require further practice to master.
Before he could fully process it, a barrage of arrows shot out from the jungle—imbued with the power of Armed Haki. In the dead of night, the arrows were almost impossible to detect.
The arrows whizzed by, cutting through the air with incredible speed, creating ripples in the air as they passed, showcasing their raw power.
Roja was taken aback by the sudden "warm welcome" they received.
Hancock quickly reacted, touching her lips with her finger, which transformed into a pink heart-shaped substance the size of her fist. She then pulled it back like a bowstring and shot out hundreds of tiny arrows.
This was the first ability Hancock developed under Roja's guidance in just a few days.
The tiny arrows collided with the armed arrows, causing them to partially petrify, which destabilized their flight and sent them crashing into the ground near Roja, leaving small craters in their wake.
At this moment, Hancock exuded the air of a queen. She stood protectively in front of Roja and shouted toward the trees, "I am Boa Hancock! I won't let you harm Roja!"
Nine Snake Island was small, and everyone knew each other, so when they heard Hancock's name, they immediately emerged from the jungle.
Hancock looked at the figures before her with cold fury, no longer moved by their presence.
"Why are you attacking us?" she demanded.
The current empress of Nine Snake Island eyed Hancock and then shifted her gaze to Roja standing behind her.
"Because there's someone suspicious!" the empress snapped.
Roja calmly responded, "I've just brought them back to Nine Snake Island. There's no reason to—"
Before Roja could finish his sentence, the empress of Nine Snake Island drew her bow and, without hesitation, shouted, "Are you a man?! If you dare step foot on Nine Snake Island, you will die!"
On Nine Snake Island, no men were allowed—anyone who entered would be killed without mercy.
Following the empress's order, every warrior drew their bow and fired at Roja.
Roja sighed inwardly. He'd figured out what was going on.
He had intended to leave after dropping Hancock and the others off, but he never expected such hostility from the islanders.
These people are fierce, and everyone's a soldier!
As a fresh wave of arrows sped toward them, Hancock rushed forward to protect Roja, but he gently placed his hand on her shoulder and stopped her.
"Hancock, leave this to me," Roja said calmly.
He extended his hand into the air, creating a barrier of invisible force.
"Kong!"
A defensive shield appeared, blocking the incoming arrows with ease.
The arrows collided with the barrier, causing a loud sound but no damage.
As the empress of Nine Snake Island prepared to launch another assault, a voice called out from the distance...
