Roja's chant continued, his voice unwavering.
"Binding Kido No. 62—Hundred Steps Wind Binding!"
Light rods split into countless fragments, piercing the Sea Dragon's immense body.
"Binding Kido No. 63—Chain of Binding!"
Another beam of light materialized, coiling into a snake-like chain that wrapped around the Sea Dragon. Its movements became sluggish and strained as if the very ocean weighed heavier on it.
With Roja's precise control, three high-level Kido spells were unleashed in succession, severely hindering the Sea Dragon's speed.
"What is this sorcery?! How have you trapped me?!"
The Sea Dragon, ancient and formidable, had never encountered abilities like Roja's, filling it with a newfound wariness.
Roja's voice carried through the tides with unshaken resolve:
"The question remains—will you surrender?"
The Sea Dragon's eyes burned an even fiercer crimson, its pride unyielding.
"I will never surrender to a mere human!"
With a deafening roar, the Sea Dragon shattered its luminous bindings into fragments that scattered like starlight in the deep sea. Its colossal tail surged forward, aiming to crush Roja.
"Too predictable," Roja muttered, his Observation Haki at its peak. He sidestepped effortlessly, his hand brushing against the creature's rough scales as the attack narrowly missed.
"If you refuse to yield, I'll make you submit. I'm more than confident in my strength!"
Roja's tone carried an air of finality as his Armament Haki surged, its dark hue now richer than the abyss around them.
"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"
Shockwaves rippled through the ocean as the battle raged.
On Fish-Man Island, King Neptune and Princess Shirahoshi watched anxiously. Occasionally, they glimpsed the Sea Dragon's colossal tail as it swept past the protective bubble of the island.
"It's been ten minutes!" Neptune muttered, his voice trembling. "I hope Admiral Roja is still holding his ground."
Shirahoshi clasped her hands tightly, attempting to summon assistance from other Sea Kings. However, the overwhelming force of Roja and the Sea Dragon's battle had driven away all but the weakest sea creatures. Helpless, she could only pray for Roja's safety.
Meanwhile, Roja's fierce duel with the Sea Dragon continued.
Despite the immense strain of fighting in the crushing depths, Roja remained determined. His superior Armament Haki allowed him to match the Sea Dragon blow for blow, even in its natural domain.
Massive waves erupted to the surface, crashing into coated ships traveling toward Fish-Man Island. Pirates aboard these ships soon found themselves caught in the crossfire; their vessels obliterated by Roja's sheer power.
The ocean above churned violently. Waves over fifty meters high began to form, their impact reaching as far as Marineford.
In the Fleet Admiral's office, Sengoku, immersed in strategizing against the Four Emperors, was abruptly interrupted.
"Fleet Admiral! Massive whirlpools and tsunamis are forming near Marineford. Orders?"
Sengoku frowned, sensing the gravity of the situation.
"Send Admiral Aokiji to handle it immediately."
At Marineford's port, Aokiji prepared to confront the chaos. Launching himself into the sky, he unleashed his icy powers.
"Ice Age!"
A bone-chilling frost enveloped the sea, freezing the towering waves into shimmering sculptures of ice. The ocean transformed into a frozen expanse, dazzling under the sunlight.
Yet the reprieve was short-lived. Beneath the surface, an immense force began to stir once more. Cracks spread rapidly across the frozen sea, and within minutes, the ice shattered into countless fragments.
Aokiji's frown deepened. Determined, he unleashed his full power.
"Ice Age!"
This time, the freezing effect spread even further, encasing the ocean in an unyielding frost. But once again, the ice began to melt under a relentless surge of heat from the depths.
Below, Roja was growing weary of the prolonged battle.
"This is your last chance—will you become my mount?" Roja asked through his ability to communicate with all things.
The Sea Dragon's roar reverberated through the ocean.
"I will never bow to a weaker creature! If you defeat me, I will serve you. But if you fail, I will devour you and the entire Fish-Man Island!"
Roja smirked as he heard the defiance in the creature's voice. The tide was turning—its pride had softened, and the beast was willing to gamble on its survival.
"You said it yourself. Now, let me show you, my answer."
With a flourish, Roja summoned his weapon. The fiery blade, Ryūjin Jakka, materialized in his grasp, its heat igniting the water around him. Through the power of the Phantom Fruit, the same weapon materialized within the hands of Susanoo.
"Everything in this world returns to ashes. Ryūjin Jakka!"
As Roja's words echoed, the blade's light intensified, glowing brighter than ever before. The surrounding ocean turned crimson, a searing heat radiating outward in waves.
The oppressive heat caused countless lesser sea creatures to break for the surface, unable to withstand the boiling waters.
In an instant, the battlefield erupted into chaos...
