As soon as Sengoku finished speaking, Tokikake transformed into his Zoan Devil Fruit form—a massive, venomous, spike-haired boar. His body swelled with muscle, growing to an imposing five-meter height, dwarfing his previous size. Then, without hesitation, he charged at Gion (Gion) with overwhelming ferocity.

Borsalino (Kizaru), observing from the sidelines, exhaled in mild relief.

"Tokikake's strength is comparable to Gion's," Kizaru thought. "At worst, this match will end in a draw. Nothing to worry about for now."

Gion stood her ground, an air of calm authority surrounding her. With her hand resting lightly on the hilt of her famed blade Kinpira, her expression was confident and resolute.

"Tokikake," she declared boldly, her voice cutting through the murmurs of the gathered marines, "if you lose today, you're never allowed to harass me again."

The massive boar chuckled, his snout curling into what might pass for a smirk. "I'll accept that," Tokikake replied, his tone dripping with cocky amusement, "but if you lose, you have to accept my pursuit."

"Disgusting!" Gion spat, her disdain clear. She refused to dignify Tokikake's challenge with a direct answer.

But Tokikake didn't care. He knew—or at least, believed—that their strengths were evenly matched. A tie would suffice to maintain the status quo.

However, Gion had no intention of letting that happen.

Since aligning herself with Roja (Admiral White Dove), her strength had grown immensely. The pivotal moment had been when Roja gave her a critical training manual, detailing the path to mastering Advanced Armament Haki. Grateful for the opportunity to surpass her limits, she accepted Roja's guidance without hesitation—a decision that had already yielded incredible results.

Now, Gion's blade sang as it left its sheath.

Sching!

The unmistakable sound of Kinpira's steel echoed across the training ground. The edge of the sword shimmered with an ominous light, wrapped tightly in her newly mastered Advanced Armament Haki. The sheer pressure radiating from the blade sent chills down the spines of everyone present.

"Drawn Sword Style: Crescent Flash!"

With a cry, Gion unleashed a devastating slash. The strike, imbued with unmatched swordsmanship and supreme Haki, tore through the air with a dazzling brilliance. The light of her attack was sharp and cold, as if it could cleave through reality itself.

Tokikake's instincts screamed danger. His Observation Haki roared like an alarm bell, warning him of the power behind her attack.

"This is impossible!" Tokikake thought in alarm. "When did Gion become this strong?!"

He roared in defiance, his Zoan form bristling with venom-coated spikes. Twisting his massive body into a ball, Tokikake spun into his signature attack:

"King Boar Rush!"

The spectators erupted in excitement.

"It's Vice Admiral Tokikake's ultimate technique!"

"A move that combines offense and defense! Can Gion withstand it?"

The two forces collided.

BOOM!!!

The explosion of power was deafening. The ground beneath the training field cracked and shattered, with fractures spreading outward like spiderwebs. Aokiji, standing near Sengoku, stepped in without hesitation. With a wave of his hand, icy mist spread out, freezing the fragmented ground to prevent further destruction and protect the marines watching nearby.

The dust cloud from the impact obscured the battlefield, but the clash was far from equal. Despite Tokikake's best efforts to fortify his back with his own Armament Haki, the gap in their mastery was glaringly evident. Gion's sword energy tore through his defenses, leaving deep, bleeding gashes along his hide.

The venomous boar let out a pained grunt as blood began pooling on the ground. The onlookers were stunned, their eyes wide as they took in the sight.

Tokikake staggered backward, his form wavering. In stark contrast, Gion remained poised and elegant, sheathing Kinpira with a sharp click.

The moment her blade settled, the residual energy from her attack erupted, sending Tokikake flying backward in a dramatic arc. He crashed to the ground with a heavy thud, kicking up another cloud of dirt.

When the dust cleared, Tokikake's injuries were severe. Though his Zoan form granted him remarkable regenerative abilities, his embarrassment was not so easily healed.

He grimaced, his face a mix of frustration and humiliation. Without looking back, he raised a hand in surrender and began walking toward the sidelines.

"You win," Tokikake muttered, his voice low and begrudging. "I'm not in the mood to keep fighting."

Kizaru's face twisted into a rare expression of irritation. For once, even he—famed for his laziness—felt the sting of defeat.

"This idiot Tokikake!" Kizaru hissed through clenched teeth before disappearing into the Crowd.

Meanwhile, a small, satisfied smile played on Gion's lips. She turned toward Roja, her expression softening as she approached him.

"From now on," she said softly, her voice filled with warmth, "please take care of me, Roja-sama."

Roja simply nodded, his calm demeanor unchanged.

At this point, Sengoku raised his hand to announce the final result. His voice carried over the murmuring marines:

"The victors of this competition are Admiral White Dove and his subordinates!"

The Crowd erupted into cheers.

"Admiral White Dove! Admiral White Dove!"

"Admiral White Dove! Admiral White Dove!"

"Admiral White Dove! Admiral White Dove!"

The title was shouted with fervor, etched deeper into the hearts of everyone present. Many marines, their eyes filled with admiration, resolved to align themselves with Roja's faction.

Roja, ever perceptive, turned to Ain and gave her a simple instruction.

"Ain, recruit only those with real strength. We don't need cannon fodder—the seas are too dangerous for them."

"Understood, Roja-sama," Ain replied dutifully.

As the competition concluded and the marines began to disperse, Roja made his way to Sengoku's office.

When he entered, Sengoku handed him a document without preamble.

"This is the official transfer of authority over the Scientific Division," Sengoku said, his tone resigned. "Take this to Punk Hazard. They're stationed there for research."

Suddenly, a voice echoed in Roja's mind:

[Ding! New Check-In Task: Punk Hazard! Reward: Summoning Skill. Time limit: 3 days!]

Roja's eyes gleamed at the system's notification. Without hesitation, he accepted the document from Sengoku.

"Thank you, Fleet Admiral," Roja said with a faint smile. "I'll take my leave."

As Roja exited the office, Sengoku slumped in his chair, his expression darkening.

"That boy… His ambitions are boundless."
