Chapter 117: Chapter 87.1 : Navy Arrives!!
Vice-Admiral Tsuru, who had previously claimed that she chased Doflamingo all over, is now right at his door.
This old lady is no easy opponent.
As a member of the Legendary Marine, this elderly woman may be a desk officer, but her strength is definitely not to be underestimated.
Even fifteen years later, when she's completely aged, her strength shouldn't be any weaker than that of the Three Calamities' commanders.
Fifteen years ago, however, no one had yet reached their peak. The Calamity commanders, back then, were much weaker compared to fifteen years later, with Jack still being just a child.
On the other hand, Vice-Admiral Tsuru was still at the tail end of her prime back then—stronger than she would be fifteen years later.
By this comparison, could it be that this old woman was even stronger than Marco or Uncle King today?
Troublesome.
Even more troublesome is the fact that she brought someone with her.
"Momousagi Gion, so young yet already a Rear Vice-Admiral in the Navy."
Doflamingo chuckled, "And she's no ordinary Rear Vice-Admiral. She's still at this rank simply because her accomplishments aren't enough, but in reality, her strength far surpasses that of most Vice-Admirals."
"Everyone says that if it weren't for Akainu, Kizaru, and Aokiji being so outstanding, she and Chaton would've been strong contenders for the rank of Vice-Admiral."
"Heh heh heh. Hey, Ian, why? Why is Momousagi, who should be out in the New World suppressing pirates, standing in our way alongside Tsuru now?"
Ian didn't answer. He just leaned back lazily on the sofa.
Yes, although they were going to see, Ian and the others didn't immediately step forward.
Let Judge handle it for now.
After all, the Germa Kingdom was a World Government affiliate. Though Judge didn't have much influence in front of Ian, he could still put on a front in front of the Navy.
However, trying to simply brush it off wouldn't work either.
So, Ian and the others were currently in a reception room on the side of the Germa Kingdom entrance—an ideal position to advance or retreat with ease.
Ian was just waiting.
But Doflamingo, on the other hand, was consumed with anger.
"Why is this happening?"
Doflamingo glanced over at his beloved family, still smiling, though his face betrayed frustration. "Could it be that someone within my most cherished family has betrayed me?"
"Who is it! Who is behind this!"
Pica's voice shrieked, sharp and piercing, "Who dares to betray us!"
"If I find out who did this, I'll slice their flesh piece by piece!"
With warpaint streaked across his face, the high-ranking member of the Donquixote family, Diamante, also roared in fury.
Traitors are worse than the enemy!
Rosinante also tried his best to display anger.
But he knew that he wouldn't be able to hide for much longer.
At least, there was one thing to do before he was fully exposed.
Rosinante cast a barely noticeable glance at Drake.
This child, who dreamed of joining the Marines, shouldn't be dragged into the pirate world.
Doflamingo's eyes scanned over each of his family members, one by one.
Who could it be?
Torrepol, Diamante, Pica—they had all been loyal to him from childhood.
Senor Pink, Jora, Gladius, Machvise, Lao G—they were also all recruited into the family early on.
It seems…
There was only one person.
Ever since he returned, the Marines had always been able to track his movements.
Hehehe, hehehehe!
Now, that's truly interesting!
Meanwhile, off the coast of the Germa Kingdom, a Marine fleet blocked their way.
At that moment, a man stepped onto the head of a large snail stationed near Germa.
"They're here!"
Gion narrowed his eyes, "Who would've thought that even the Vinsmoke family is involved now? Tsuru, is it too late to ask Vice-Admiral Borsalino for support?"
Vice-Admiral Tsuru remained silent, quietly staring at the snail's head.
"Marine! What the hell are you doing blocking my way?"
Judge looked down at the naval fleet below, his tone cold and unapologetic.
"Why should the king of a member country be polite in front of the navy?" he thought.
He even had a transponder snail with him, capable of immediately transmitting anything that happened here to Ian.
"I won't waste time with pleasantries, Vinsmoke Judge," the calm voice of Vice-Admiral Tsuru came through. "Ian the Skyfire, Donquixote Doflamingo, let these two come out."
"I don't understand a word you're saying!" Judge Judge shouted fiercely. "Get out of my way, now! Otherwise, I'll file a complaint with the World government!"
"That's not going to happen," Gion sneered. "You don't think you can just bluff your way out of this, do you? Since we're here, we already have solid evidence. I suggest you stop resisting, or you might be able to get a lighter punishment later."
"Or, you could try firing a cannon, if you prefer!"
Judge's expression stiffened—this was bad.
In the reception room behind them, Ian stood up and stretched. "Looks like it's our turn."
"Heh heh heh, I don't mind either way," Doflamingo laughed. "But Judge's in trouble. A king of a member country colluding with pirates... that's a problem."
Ian spoke calmly, "It's fine. The Beasts Pirates will protect him from now on."
In fact, it was better if the Vinsmoke family faced the World government's pursuit. This meant that Judge would have to rely more on the Beasts Pirates.
"Heh heh heh!" Doflamingo burst out laughing.
"Let's go," Ian said. He glanced at everyone around him, thought for a moment, and then added, "Those who are lacking in combat ability, stay behind."
Doflamingo looked at someone and smirked. "Sounds good."
And so, the group set out.
In this reception room, only Drake, Law, Baby-5, and other young people with little combat ability remained, of course, along with...
Rosinante glanced at Drake.
He stayed behind as well.
So, it's a good opportunity!
Ian moved forward, climbing the stairs to the top of the snail. What greeted his eyes were the Marine warships.
Having been in this world for so long, it seemed like he hadn't really had a serious confrontation with the Navy until now.
"They're here!"
On the warship, Gion had already placed her hand on the hilt of her sword. "Get ready!"
"Ian…"
Judge turned to look at Ian, feeling somewhat ashamed.
"It's nothing. They've already figured out my movements, and they won't back off easily."
Ian said, "But Judge, at this point, there's no turning back for you."
"I never considered turning back!"
Judge said firmly.
Since the World Government wanted to stop his dream, then the World government was his enemy!
"Great."
Ian nodded slightly and stepped forward, speaking loudly, "Sorry, but Granny Tsuru, could you move aside for a moment?"
