One Piece : Winged Dragons of the Beast Pirates

Chapter 61: Chapter 54.1 : Counterfeit??

On Hive Island, the Whitebeard Pirates have already landed.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Red Line, at Marine Headquarters in Marinford...

A Marine officer hurriedly dashed through the towering headquarters building, panting as he burst into the Fleet Admiral's office.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku! There's been a conflict between the Whitebeard Pirates and the Beast Pirates on Hive Island!"

"What?"

At Mary Geoise...

The Five Elders had gathered due to the war erupting on Hive Island, and it wasn't solely because of Ian.

"That kid has ultimately become the catalyst," one of them remarked.

"If those two kids are captured by the Whitebeard Pirates, Kaido will never let it go. A war between the Beast Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates is now inevitable."

"Good! Let them fight; the more chaotic, the better! They've been expanding in tacit agreement for too long—it's about time they engaged in some internal strife."

Back on Hive Island, inside the skeletal building...

"That kid is also a Mythical Zoan?" Ochoku stood by the window, taking in the view of the port from his advantageous height. "No wonder Kaido values them so much. Are they daring to bring the battlefield to my territory? Such audacity!"

"However, he's actually holding his ground against Marco without collapsing immediately! This kid! Where on earth did that bastard Kaido find him? What kind of ridiculous luck is this?"

He felt a twinge of jealousy.

At the port, McGuy leaped off the deck, the sound of raucous cheers filling his ears.

The pirates celebrated their landing, waiting for a command.

McGuy drew the rapier from his side and shouted, "Attack! Capture them!"

"Yahhhhhh!!!"

The pirates surged forward like rabid dogs.

It wasn't just the pirates under his command; the A.O. Pirates and the Takotopus Pirates, who had come along, were also charging forward.

Captain A.O. of the A.O. Pirates was a stout man with long limbs and a face resembling that of a hippopotamus.

Captain Karma of the Takotopus Pirates was literally an octopus fishman. He had once been a human trafficker and nearly kidnapped Kozuki Toki, but after being taught a lesson by Whitebeard, he joined the Whitebeard Pirates.

Both of these men were equally excited, brandishing their blades as they led their crews into battle.

The advantage in numbers was undeniable!

On the opposite side, there were only a few hundred crew members, led by a few kids.

On their side, however, was a lineup of over a thousand pirates!

Wasn't this going to be easy?

Some charged in even faster than the three captains.

"Oh, oh, oh!"

A man dressed as a geisha roared as he sprinted forward, tightly gripping his twin pistols, his face twisted with madness.

Finally, it was time to avenge Lord Oden!

Although they were just two little kids from the Beast Pirates!

"Here they come!"

In the harbor, still a distance away from the pirates, Babanuki drew his sword and roared.

"Bring it on!"

Yamato stepped forward, her white hair instantly covering her body—Werewolf had arrived!

Jack and Black Maria remained silent, silently entering their beast forms, ready for action.

Meanwhile, in the sky...

Ian was still entangled in a fight with Marco.

"Secret Technique!"

Flames enveloped Ian as he propelled himself forward, resembling a character from Dragon Ball, his aura surging as he flew ahead.

"Crimson Lotus Phoenix Sword!"

Golden flames coalesced around Ian, forming a giant sword—a spiral sword!

By color, it should be called the Golden Lotus Phoenix Sword, but that doesn't sound quite right, so let's stick with the original name.

The sword was wrapped in Conqueror's Haki, spinning wildly.

Rather than a sword, it resembled a drill!

A drill breaking through the sky!

Marco showed no fear, accelerating as he flapped his wings, launching a flying knee strike.

Boom!!

The spiral sword collided with the flying knee, and thunder rumbled in the clear sky.

The drill breaking through the sky was smashed by Marco's kick, causing Ian to stumble back.

The Armamnet Haki was too strong, combined with the seemingly cheat-like regenerative ability of the Phoenix Fruit, leaving no advantage in a long-range battle.

As for close combat, it was even worse; he hadn't even awakened his Observation Haki yet, and he would definitely end up with a swollen head.

If he had known he'd have to face this guy, he should have brought some Sea-Prism Stone weapons along.

Ian looked down again.

The pirates from the three crews under Whitebeard had all landed and were charging towards Yamato and the others, who were braced for the assault. The mass of pirates was dark and dense, surging like a tide.

Finally, it was almost time.

"Well then, the games are over."

Ian's body suddenly swelled.

In the next moment, the golden dragon soared into the sky.

"Huh?"

Marco was taken aback.

It was a bit exaggerated.

Its wingspan exceeded fifty meters, and counting the tail, it was an enormous creature in every sense.

However, while the beast form indeed had greater strength, such a large size would also make it much heavier. Did this kid really think he could defeat him solely with strength?

"You say the games are over? Are you planning to surrender, brat?"

Marco said leisurely, "You are indeed stronger than any kid your age, but do you really think you can defeat me?"

"Not to mention that we have a complete numerical advantage below."

"You say numerical advantage?"

The golden dragon, shining brightly in the sunlight, roared like thunder, "Marco, you're called the Phoenix. What a coincidence—I also have a form I call the Phoenix, the Immortal Phoenix."

"Immortal Phoenix?"

Marco raised an eyebrow. What level is this guy? Calling himself the same name as me?

"A counterfeit dares to claim it's immortal?"

"Counterfeit?"

The Golden Dragon nodded lightly, "Then why don't you try to stop the so-called counterfeit?"
