Chapter 2: Chapter 2: A Familiar Scene
"Carrying so little money, and you still dare to rob others?"
Takizawa Haruto stuffed the money into his pocket and kicked the young man on the ground who was gasping for breath.
The young man yelped in pain, but seeing the 'thug' who had knocked him down with just a few punches and kicks, he didn't have the slightest thought of resisting... He was really unlucky, thinking of robbing some pocket money, but as soon as he stopped someone, he got robbed instead.
"Don't act like I'm the criminal here. Get it straight, you tried to rob me, and I was just defending myself. Understand?" Haruto said, kicking him again, "Don't do this kind of thing again."
The young man clutched his stomach, lying on the ground, tears streaming down his face as he watched Haruto walk away.
"Haha, I was just worrying about money, and someone suddenly comes to deliver it. Seems like my luck isn't too bad..."
After recovering from his injuries, Haruto quickly realized he was facing the awkward situation of being penniless. And since he transmigrated with his own physical body, it meant—in this world, he was an undocumented person, theoretically non-existent.
In life; food, clothing, shelter, and transportation are essential. For now, food was temporarily solved, and although his clothes were dirty, they were still wearable.
"Sigh... I should have taken that guy's clothes too," After hesitating for a moment, Haruto gave up the idea of going back to strip the guy off his clothes. He continued to look for a restaurant while thinking about his current situation.
Food and clothing were not a problem for the short term, but shelter was crucial. As an undocumented person, he might end up sleeping under a bridge if he was unlucky.
"Let's see if there's a black hotel- mhm... What's going on?"
Haruto happened to walk to the edge of a community park and was stunned by the scene unfolding inside.
In the park stood a humanoid creature with a crab exterior, and opposite the crab was a young man in a suit, covered in blood and looking very disheveled. Not far from them lay a child on the ground... with a chin that looked like a butt.
"This scene... looks familiar... I think I've seen it somewhere..." Haruto squinted, rubbing his chin in thought. "Forget it, let's save the people first."
As Haruto was thinking, the crab man had already launched another attack on the young man.
"I'm not looking for a job anymore! Bring it on!" The young man, who had taken off his suit and wrapped his tie around his hand, roared, but was immediately punched twice by the crab man.
"What kind of hero are you! You're doomed! Hahahaha—"
The crab man, as he was attacking the young man recklessly didn't notice that the young man's tie had already looped around his protruding eyes.
"Huh?"
The young man gritted his teeth and pulled with all his strength.
"Uwaaaaaa—"
Amid the crab man's wails, his eyes, along with the nerves and brain connected to them, were pulled out, blood splattering everywhere, creating an extremely gory scene.
The crab man fell to the ground, twitched a few times while clutching his head, and then fell silent.
"Looks like I didn't get a chance to step in."
Haruto, who had just arrived, stopped in his tracks and said somewhat helplessly. Just now, he had received a task from the system—to eliminate the crab man, but now the task was canceled.
Walking up to the young man, who was drenched in sweat and panting heavily, Haruto smiled and asked, "Are you okay?"
The young man nodded his head, indicating he was fine, wiped the blood and sweat from his face, and staggered over to the boy sitting on the ground.
"Don't do this kind of thing again, understand?"
The little boy looked at the young man in confusion and nodded.
"Alright, you should go home now."
"Thank you, big brother!" The boy said, hugging his ball and leaving...
