Onepiece: I Am Aizen, The Strongest Admiral

Chapter 33: Chapter 31 Fierce Battle

Aizen smiled faintly, his calm demeanor unshaken by Waldo's proposal.

"What?" Waldo sneered, mistaking Aizen's silence for hesitation. "Does it even matter? I see your strength, your potential. You're not even twenty, yet you can match me. Together, we'd be unstoppable. Even the Marines wouldn't dare challenge us!"

Waldo's eyes burned with ambition. While he wasn't as powerful as the three Great Pirates, his strength placed him among the elite of the New World. With his MOMO Fruit's destructive power, even the Marines avoided provoking him unnecessarily. In his mind, with Aizen at his side, their dominance would be unquestionable.

However, Aizen's calm smile masked his indifference. "Did you know? Eagles don't flock with sparrows. It's been that way since ancient times."

"What?" Waldo's expression darkened as he processed the insult. Aizen's meaning was clear: Waldo was beneath him.

"In other words," Aizen continued, his tone cutting, "the strong don't associate with the weak."

"Weak?" Waldo's face twisted in rage, his self-esteem shattered. He was a man who thrived on proving his strength through destruction and chaos. To be called weak was intolerable.

"Momo Hundredfold Slash!"

With a roar, Waldo unsheathed his blade, which instantly expanded to an enormous size, blotting out the sky. The colossal sword came crashing down toward Aizen.

"Boring," Aizen muttered, his voice barely a whisper.

Before the blade could connect, Aizen's figure vanished. A flash of blue light flickered behind Waldo.

"Hadō no. 73: Sōren Sōkatsui."

A violent torrent of blue flames erupted toward Waldo's back. Despite the chaos, Waldo's Observation Haki flared, and he barely managed to evade.

"That strange speed again," Waldo growled, his heart pounding as he realized the intricacy of Aizen's movements.

"Don't show off clumsy tricks in front of me," Aizen said, his voice cold. "It will only hasten your defeat."

Waldo's pride burned hotter than his pain. "Boy, don't underestimate me!"

"Momo Hundredfold Speed!"

Waldo activated his fruit's power again, his speed magnified a hundredfold. To him, the world slowed down, every detail visible. In this heightened state, he launched a barrage of punches at Aizen, attacking from every angle in a blur of motion. Each strike was precise, calculated, and relentless.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Fists landed against the air and Aizen's Zanpakutō as the two clashed in a rapid symphony of destruction.

"Impressive," Aizen mused, deflecting the attacks effortlessly with his blade. His expression remained serene, as though Waldo's onslaught was nothing more than a passing storm.

Waldo's ferocity only increased. "How are you this calm?"

Aizen's eyes gleamed with calculated precision. He knew Waldo's tactic—relying on his fruit's ability to overwhelm his opponent quickly. However, such power came with a cost. A hundredfold speed was unsustainable, and Aizen only needed to wait for Waldo to tire himself out.

Minutes passed. Waldo's attacks slowed, his breathing grew labored, and sweat poured down his face. Meanwhile, Aizen remained unscathed, his composure unbroken.

"No… I need to conserve my strength," Waldo muttered, disengaging the speed enhancement to catch his breath.

"Hadō no. 4: Byakurai."

The moment Waldo hesitated, Aizen struck. A beam of white lightning shot from his fingers, piercing Waldo's shoulder and sending him crashing into the ground.

"Arrogance blinds you," Aizen said, stepping closer. "You believed you could match me, yet all you've proven is that you're not even worth remembering."

Waldo clutched his burned shoulder, his body trembling in pain and frustration. "You… you think this is over?"

"This was over the moment you challenged me," Aizen replied, his tone final. "Eagles don't flock with sparrows."

Waldo's eyes widened in fury, but he could do nothing as Aizen's Reiatsu weighed down on him, suffocating his defiance.

In the end, the difference between them was absolute.
