Onepiece: I Am Aizen, The Strongest Admiral

Chapter 60: Chapter 57 Jealousy On It's Peak

Aizen stood in midair, observing Golden Lion's every move with calm precision. His demeanor betrayed no fear, only a faint smirk that teased the chaos to come. The tension was palpable, and even the seasoned crew members aboard the Golden Lion's fleet began to shift uncomfortably under the weight of the confrontation.

"Didn't you use Moonwalk, ability?" Golden Lion asked, his brow furrowing slightly as he noticed Aizen walking effortlessly through the air.

Aizen's gaze remained steady, his voice as calm as ever. "Moonwalk? No. This is simply... beyond your comprehension."

Golden Lion's frown deepened. Despite all the rumors and speculation surrounding Aizen's abilities, none had managed to uncover their true nature. He could feel the mystery in the air, and it unsettled him.

"Are you here for revenge for your fallen subordinates?" Aizen asked with a faint trace of mockery.

Golden Lion let out a disdainful laugh. "Revenge? Don't insult me, boy. I'm not Whitebeard, playing nanny to his crew. They were weak. Weaklings die. That's the law of the sea. I'm here for one reason only—to kill you. Nothing more."

The Marine officers behind Aizen stiffened at the Golden Lion's audacious declaration. Yet Aizen remained unshaken, a subtle smirk playing at the edges of his lips.

"Is that so? Then by all means, show me what makes you think you can."

Golden Lion's laughter grew louder, filling the air with a manic energy. "Kill this brat, boss!" one of the pirates urged from the ship.

"We don't have time for this! Garp or reinforcements could show up any moment!" another shouted.

Golden Lion waved a hand dismissively, silencing his crew. "Enough! I'll end this quickly."

The massive ship beneath Golden Lion began to rise under the power of his Devil Fruit, the massive figure towering over the battlefield. He gripped his twin blades, Sakura Ten and Muku, and pointed them toward Aizen.

"Let's see if you can handle this, boy!"

Golden Lion's Conqueror's Haki surged forward, an overwhelming pressure that crashed over the battlefield like a tidal wave. Yet Aizen stood still, unflinching. A faint blue aura shimmered around him, countering the oppressive red waves of Haki with his own spiritual energy.

Their auras clashed in midair, splitting the sea below them. The port trembled under the sheer force of their combined wills.

Aizen raised his Zanpakutō slowly, pointing it toward Golden Lion. "So, this is the power of the Golden Lion. Admirable... but not nearly enough."

Before Golden Lion could respond, Aizen vanished, reappearing in front of him with blinding speed.

*CLANG!*

The sound of steel meeting steel echoed as Aizen's blade collided with Golden Lion's twin swords. The sheer force of the impact sent shockwaves rippling outward, forcing the pirates and Marines alike to brace themselves.

Golden Lion's eyes widened in disbelief as he felt the weight of Aizen's strike. This wasn't the strength of a Vice Admiral—it was something far beyond that.

"How...?!" Golden Lion muttered, gritting his teeth as he pushed back against Aizen's blade.

Aizen's smirk deepened. "Do you truly think the world is as simple as you imagine? Power... is a matter of perspective."

With a flick of his wrist, Aizen pushed Golden Lion back, sending him skidding across the air. But before the pirate could recover, Aizen was upon him again, his blade flashing with precision and intent.

Golden Lion countered furiously, his twin swords weaving a deadly dance as he tried to keep up. Each clash of their blades sent sparks flying, lighting up the battlefield.

Despite his rage and determination, Golden Lion began to falter. Each strike from Aizen carried an otherworldly force, a power that seemed to weigh heavier with every blow.

"Enough games!" Golden Lion roared, raising Muku high above his head. "Slash Wave!"

With a powerful swing, Golden Lion unleashed a massive wave of energy, the destructive force carving through the air and splitting the sea below.

Aizen didn't flinch. Instead, he raised his hand, his spiritual energy condensing around him. "Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi."

A massive black coffin materialized in the air, its dark aura consuming the Golden Lion's attack before it could reach Aizen. The oppressive energy of the Kurohitsugi expanded, trapping Golden Lion within its void.

Golden Lion's laughter echoed from within the coffin. "You think this can hold me, boy?! I'm the Golden Lion!"

But Aizen merely watched, his expression calm. "Let's see how long you can roar in the face of inevitability."

With a deafening crash, the Kurohitsugi imploded, releasing a shockwave that rocked the port. As the dust settled, Golden Lion emerged, bloodied but standing. His gaze met Aizen's, filled with a mixture of fury and grudging respect.

"You're not like the others," Golden Lion admitted, wiping blood from his mouth. "But this isn't over."

Aizen adjusted his glasses, his smirk unyielding. "Of course not. The question is, how long can you last?"

The battle was far from over, but one thing was clear: Aizen was no ordinary Marine. And for the first time in a long while, the Golden Lion had met a foe who truly intrigued him.
