Onepiece: I'm Gojo Satoru

Chapter 115: Chapter 115 The Reluctant Execution

The waters of the North Blue carried a chilling stillness as the Navy fleet approached Yatetia Island. Ten massive warships formed a blockade, their cannons primed to unleash devastation. On the flagship, Satoru stood silently at the bow, his thoughts heavy.

He had delayed the fleet's progress for weeks, knowing every extra day gave Dragon and his Revolutionary Army more time to evacuate the island's innocent civilians. Now, as they reached their destination, Satoru prepared for the inevitable.

---

"Admiral White Dragon, we've reached the waters of Yatetia," Vice Admiral Brusno announced, his tone laced with impatience. "Shall we commence the operation?"

"Not yet," Satoru replied evenly, his gaze fixed on the horizon.

Brusno frowned. "Admiral, we've already delayed this mission long enough. Do you plan to let the island's inhabitants escape?"

Satoru turned to him, his eyes narrowing. "Vice Admiral Brusno, I suggest you remember your place. I am the commander of this operation. Question me again, and I'll see you removed from duty."

A wave of Conqueror's Haki rolled off Satoru, crushing the defiance out of Brusno and leaving the vice admiral gasping for air. The oppressive force lifted just as quickly, leaving an air of silent obedience among the crew.

"Yes, Admiral," Brusno muttered, bowing his head.

---

When the fleet finally arrived near Yatetia Island, ten warships surrounded the land, their cannons pointed at the shore. Satoru activated his Observation Haki, scanning the island for life.

To his relief, he sensed no innocent civilians. Instead, the island was populated by individuals with clear killing intent—criminals, undoubtedly left there by Dragon as decoys.

"So, you managed to evacuate them," Satoru thought, a faint smile of approval tugging at his lips. Dragon's cunning had bought the innocents their lives.

---

Satoru's Den Den Mushi buzzed to life, Sengoku's voice booming through. "Satoru, it's time. Begin the operation. Ensure no one leaves the island alive."

"I understand," Satoru replied curtly, ending the call. Turning to the gathered vice admirals, he issued the command. "All warships, prepare to fire. Wipe out the island."

The cannons roared in unison, raining destruction upon Yatetia. Explosions tore through the island, engulfing it in fire and smoke. From the flagship, Satoru watched impassively, his face betraying no emotion.

---

As the bombardment continued, the island of Yatetia was reduced to smoldering ruins. The once-vibrant land became an unrecognizable wasteland.

Satoru's hands gripped the railing of the ship as he looked on. "A necessary evil," he murmured under his breath, knowing the destruction spared innocent lives, thanks to Dragon's intervention.

The screams and chaos faded, leaving only the crackle of flames and the distant echoes of crumbling structures. The mission was complete, but Satoru's resolve remained unchanged. He would never let the World Government dictate his morality.

"Dragon, you bought them their freedom," Satoru thought. "I'll carry this burden if it means protecting those who can't fight back."

As the fleet prepared to depart, Satoru turned his gaze to the open sea, already planning his next move.
