Parallel World Spider-Man

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Spider-Man... Five of Them?

After a brief round of introductions, Bi De and Spider-Man Noir (Shadow Spider-Man) were invited into the house by Aunt May.

As soon as they stepped inside, both of them felt something resonate in their minds.

"This feeling…" Bi De's eyes scanned the room, eventually landing on three figures inside.

To be precise: a young girl in a plaid dress, a red robot with four legs, and… a pig?

"Hi~ I'm Peni Parker!" The girl waved cheerfully, and the red robot sitting behind her on the floor mimicked her gesture.

The pig, on the other hand, jumped to his feet and trotted over, sticking his snout up proudly. He extended a hoof and said, "Nice to meet you. I'm Peter Porker."

Bi De stared at the three of them in disbelief. "Wait! Don't tell me you're all…"

Buzz buzz~

"Alright, no need to explain." Bi De waved them off.

Even his pig sense—no, spider sense—was tingling. Clearly, these three peculiar individuals, whose names bore uncanny similarities to Peter Parker, were all Spider-People.

And, without a doubt, they were from different universes.

"Wha—this universe is totally insane! Why are there so many Spider-Men here?!" Bi De slumped onto the sofa, utterly exasperated.

Based on his extensive knowledge of Spider-Man movies and superhero media, he knew one thing: if one Spider-Man meant a certain level of danger, two Spider-Men would triple it. Three would multiply it exponentially. Four? Well, at that point, the threat level skyrocketed to catastrophic proportions.

If an entire nest of Spider-Men gathered, it could only mean one thing—a disaster of multiversal proportions was imminent!

Spider-Man Noir, who had become close with Bi De during their journey, sat down beside him and patted his shoulder. "Relax, kid. We're Spider-Men. We've got this."

"You're Spider-Men. I'm just a regular guy who got bitten by a random spider," Bi De retorted.

"Wait, you just got bitten?" Peni Parker hopped over to Bi De, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"Yeah, pretty much." Bi De nodded.

"Kids, would you like something to drink?" Aunt May's warm voice interrupted, her gentle smile lighting up the room.

Although these "little spiders" weren't her Peter, their presence filled her heart with a comforting warmth, as if soothing the pain of losing her own nephew.

"I'll have an egg cream!" Spider-Man Noir raised his hand.

"I don't want a drink. Could I get a hot dog instead?" Peter Porker piped up, his tiny hoof waving.

"I'll take a glass of milk! Drinking milk makes you grow taller!" Peni grinned mischievously.

Bi De glanced around, noticing how everyone was ordering without hesitation. He joined in, "I'll have a glass of milk too."

"Hmm?" x4

"You want to grow taller too?" Peni tilted her head, confused.

Bi De gestured to his long legs with a mock glare. "No! I just like milk, okay?"

"Hahaha!" The room instantly erupted into laughter.

Aunt May didn't seem bothered by the chaos; on the contrary, she smiled kindly at the group of cheerful Spider-People and headed into the kitchen to prepare their requests.

Meanwhile, Bi De started chatting with the others, learning about their backgrounds.

Peni Parker was a 14-year-old girl who piloted a red robot called SP//dr—her "spider mecha." Unlike the others, she didn't gain her powers from a radioactive spider bite. Instead, she bonded with SP//dr through a neural link.

Peter Porker, on the other hand, was originally a humanoid spider in his world. His Aunt May Porker—a pig and a scientist—had been experimenting with an atomic-powered hairdryer. The device malfunctioned, turning her aggressive, and she bit Peter. Due to the radiation, Peter transformed from a "humanoid spider" into a "pig-nosed humanoid spider." He retained all his spider abilities.

Spider-Man Noir came from the Great Depression era. He was once an idealistic but inexperienced young man. His Uncle Ben and Aunt May were street orators who advocated leftist ideals. One day, Uncle Ben was brutally murdered.

In his grief, Peter took up his uncle's cause, continuing his street speeches. During an investigation into a smuggling case, he was bitten by a spider hidden among the cargo, granting him superpowers. He repurposed his uncle's WWI-era aviator suit as his Spider-Man costume and began targeting the crimes of monopolist capitalists.

As for Bi De, his backstory was far less impressive.

For over 20 years, he had been an ordinary straight-A student. He attended a top university, majored in an obscure field—astronomy—and then pursued graduate studies. His advisor took him to work at a Mars research facility as an intern.

Then, one day, he was bitten by a spider that seemed to appear out of nowhere. And somehow, he ended up in this world.

No Spider-Man powers. No legendary feats.

Even Peni, a 14-year-old girl, had a more extraordinary life than his.

Peter Porker snorted and patted Bi De's leg with his tiny hoof. "Don't worry. We've all been there."

Peni pulled a candy out of her pocket, unwrapped it, and held it up to Bi De's mouth. "Here! It's super tasty!"

"Thanks." Bi De smiled, popping the candy into his mouth.

What a wholesome, united Spider family.

Spider-Man Noir spoke up, "If you're interested, we could train you."

"Train me?" Bi De blinked, surprised.

"Yeah. Where you are now is where we all started. Each of us has been through this stage, so we know what you need. Let us set up a training plan for you—it might work," Spider-Man Noir said calmly, his words logical and well-organized.

In his world, he had fought alone for many years.

Despite how brotherly he acted with Bi De, he was actually at least a decade older than him.

"Alright, time to eat!" Aunt May reappeared from the kitchen, carrying a tray filled with food and drinks.

Peni sweetly thanked her but immediately reached for more candy from her pocket.

Spider-Man Noir tapped her lightly on the head. "Cut back on the sugar, or you'll get cavities."

"Ugh—fine!" Peni reluctantly put the candy away.

Bi De stood up and helped clear the table, while Peter Porker hopped into the kitchen to assist.

Soon, thanks to everyone's teamwork, a simple yet heartwarming dinner was ready.
