Percy Jackson - Beyond the Gods

Chapter 96: Future of Ikki's Story

Writing about the romance between Artemis and Ikki was a fascinating and challenging experience. At first, I must admit the idea seemed somewhat forced. I was quite indecisive about who could be the ideal romantic partner for Ikki, considering all the available options. The intention was never to limit the narrative to the Percy Jackson books or the Riordanverse in general. My plan has always been to expand the universe, taking the story to Tensura and eventually connecting it to my own Multiverse.

During the writing process, I realized how crucial it is to provide consistent development for the characters. In the second volume, I am focusing on exploring different points of view, which allows for a richer and more diverse perspective of the story. However, I understand that this might not please everyone, and I apologize to those who prefer a more straightforward approach. My goal is to offer a narrative that evolves organically and engagingly.

Changing someone's personality, whether in a story or in real life, is an arduous task. I strive to do this realistically, respecting the characters' essence while allowing them to grow and adapt to the circumstances around them. This evolution is what makes the characters more human and relatable.

Lastly, I would like to ask my loyal readers for their opinion: do you think Ikki's story should or should not include a harem?

This decision can significantly impact the course of the narrative, and I greatly value your feedback in making this decision. After all, this journey is as much yours as it is mine, and I want everyone to feel part of this universe we are creating together.

No Harem?

Harem?
