Percy Jackson: The Cursed Hunter

Posted the chapter for today a few hours ago, if y'all didn't notice, whilst deleting my rant.

Onto the main topic though, I'm thinking of starting another fic. I'll only be writing it in the background obviously, just to stock up chaps because this fic is, and will always be my main focus until it is finished.

(Also cause it's Thanksgiving Break, meaning I can write a shit ton.)

But yea, I got two ideas. Don't expect to see the fruit of these ideas anytime soon (unless I make a discord and just publish the chapters there for early viewing or something). Which one do y'all like better though? (I'll prolly write both in the future though because I'm so deep in love with these ideas. It's just a matter of which one will come before the other.)

The first idea is heavily, heavily "inspired" by Rain Seeker's fic, "The Snake and the Spider." I highly recommend reading it, it's one of the best fanfictions I've ever read in my life.

But, it was never finished (stopped updating in 2013), and honestly, I still think about it to this day.

I obviously won't copy it though, and so I was thinking about how to change it up so that I'd still capture the essence of the original story, just with my own original take on it.

Here's the idea:

Dude is reborn as Satoru Gojo, just a Satoru Gojo that is born in like 1980.

He goes through Jujutsu High and shit, and then becomes a teacher like in the JJK manga, just it's different people, cause it's a different generation (all of this is just backstory and is all skipped in the fic though).

Then, there's a world ending incident where like, the mother of all curses attack, all Jujutsu Sorcerers in the world gather, and they all die with Gojo being the sole survivor.

Stricken with grief, he leaves everything behind and becomes a mercenary, forgoing his cursed techniques because they bring back horrendous memories of those he failed to save (he'll still use them to get out of life threatening situations obviously).

Therein, he meets a 14 year old Natasha Romanoff, and they become partners. This is where the fic starts.

As for how the story will progress, it'll be like Rain Seeker's fic, just the romance would have to be pushed back till main MCU events start because of the age issue.

But yea, it's a shame that Rain Seeker wasn't able to finish his fic, and this idea used to just consume my thoughts after first reading Rain Seeker's fic.

An [OC(or Harry), Hermione] fic wherein they leave everything behind, say fuck it, and then just jump into a random portal after the end of the events of Harry Potter. (The setting will change depending on whether it's an OC or Harry. If y'all think an OC is better, then I'll probably write an actual SI Harry Potter fic [I've had a couple of ideas in my headcannon for a while] and then write this idea as a sequel. If y'all think just Harry is better, then I can immediately just start on this idea.)

Basically, it'll be the two of them working together in any world (I haven't decided yet and I'd like y'all's input).

It can be the world of another novel, the world of a TV show, the world of an anime, the world of a manga/hwa/hua, the world of a webnovel, etc. The possibilities are endless.

I honestly just really like the Harmony pairing, and I feel like I'd be happy writing about their relationship in any world.

So yea, what are y'all's thoughts on this idea and what world do you think they should go to?

(Disclaimer: I can only write about worlds I already know about obviously. To narrow it down for you guys, I've read basically every single American YA series that you'd find in your middle/high school library, a shit ton of the webnovels on WN, most 9 star or higher rated manga on MD [no harem, no yaoi or yuri], probably more manhwa than 99% of people, and most of the top 50 on NU for the past 4 years of my life.)
