Chapter 2: chapter 2

Chapter 2 - Daily Life. Chocolate?

Quetzal is the chief of the Chalca tribe. She was a very beautiful woman. She had exotic brown skin with silver hair. She was slender and sexy. She also had some muscle, as she was a powerful warrior.

She was married to the chief of the Chalca tribe, Tupoc. They both loved each other but couldn't conceive a child. She even thought there was something wrong with her body and was worried about not being able to give an heir to Tupoc. But their god Tezcatlipoca finally blessed her with a child.

But the child's birth was the most painful experience she had ever had in her life. The baby was even sucking her life force. After a long time of pain, finally, his cry was heard. She gave birth to a beautiful boy.

He had snow-white hair. His blue eyes held some intelligence in them. But the baby was too big for a newborn. He also had three small horns on his head. The people in the room were scared by this abnormality.

At that moment, a stocky man with bulky muscles entered. He had dark skin and brown hair.

"Where is my son?" His voice thundered through the room. He was the chief of the Chalca tribe, Tupoc.

"Chief, here he is," a frightened servant handed the child to him. Tupoc looked gently at the child. After so many difficulties, he received an heir. But his son was too big for a newborn and had small horns on his head. Then he remembered that the child was not an ordinary child but the incarnation of Tezcatlipoca.

"He will be called Huitzilin," the chief Tupoc proudly announced, naming the child.

"Chief, I think the chiefess might die of exhaustion after giving birth," one of the elderly ladies in the room expressed her concern to the chief. When they focused their attention on the chiefess, her eyes were closed. They rushed to check the chiefess's condition. Fortunately, she was alive, despite the odds. Many believed that the baby's blood healed her.

The next day, the Chalca tribe invited many nearby tribes and held a grand feast to celebrate the birth of the chief's son. It was a day to remember.

[After 4 years]

{MC's point of view}

Ah, it's been four years since I came to this world. Honestly, it's still pretty crazy to think about it, but I've accepted it. I'm currently in the year 1440-1450. I'm currently in the place that will be Mexico in the future.

There are still many years before the canon starts. I don't remember exactly when the canon begins. I think Muzan has already become a demon by now. Well, as for my life now.

Honestly, I had a lot of difficulty adapting to Aztec culture. Although I don't have many memories of my past life, it was still a huge transition.

The Aztecs are bloodthirsty, cruel, savage, religious, and intelligent. They also often sacrificed to the gods to appease them. It got worse since I was born because they believe I am an incarnation of Tezcatlipoca.

I love my parents very much. Even though they are cruel, they are still my parents. My mother is beautiful, strong, sexy, everything a man would expect from a woman. She also pampers me a lot.

My father is a strict man. He is very religious and always wants to appease the gods. Sigh, such a troublesome man.

As for my daily life, since I am a Pillar Man, I could walk and talk normally at the age of 2. Many believe this is a blessing from God. I have not yet revealed my supernatural abilities. As for food, well, for now, I am just absorbing animals.

I also noticed that I have the stone mask on my body. It's embedded in my flesh, and I can take it out whenever I want. But where will I find the Red Stone of Aja?

Another big headache is sunlight. Once, I accidentally went into the sun, and my body temperature suddenly started rising. I avoid sunlight as much as possible. But still, I can survive for about a minute in the sun.

"Zee, come out, I have a surprise for you," a tender voice called. Soon a small figure came running in. She was a beautiful girl of at least 8-9 years old. She had exotic brown skin with wavy black hair.

"Atzi, what surprise do you have for me?" I asked the emerald-eyed girl back. She is my half-sister Atzi. My tribe allowed polygamy, so before my birth, my father had other children. But since I am the son of his official wife, I am the heir.

Atzi is one of the closest people to me in this world. She is 4 years older than me but still acts like a little sister around me. She wants to become a priestess to serve the gods.

"Come with me, Zee, I'll show you," the little girl bounced out with such liveliness. Soon, I followed Atzi. By the way, Zee is a nickname of mine, from my name Huitzilin.

Atzi went to a nearby shop and asked the shopkeeper for something. He soon handed her a blood-red liquid.

"Atzi, it's not your blood. Why are you drinking blood now?" What the hell is wrong with this girl? Buying blood from a shop. We can only drink blood during sacrifices.

"Idiot, it's not blood! Come here and drink. I'm sure you'll be shocked." I took the jug from her skeptically and smelled it. Well, it certainly didn't smell like blood. Then, I tasted it. Even if it was blood, I wouldn't mind.

Soon I was attacked by the sweetness. A taste I was very familiar with in my previous life. It was chocolate. I didn't expect to find chocolate here. I savored every drop of the drink and soon emptied the jug completely.

"Haha, are you shocked? Do you like it? It's called cacao. This shopkeeper traded it with some people on his journey," Atzi said with a smug face.

I need all the chocolate he has. I don't know if I'll find it again soon.

"Give me all the cacao you have. I'll give you a large amount of gold. I'm the heir of this tribe, so you can trust me," I demanded in an arrogant young master tone.
