Chapter 26 - Vampire named Kokushibo
It's been a week since I helped Tamayo. I informed her about the Blue Spider Lily and asked her to look for it. It's been years since I've seen my mother. 'I wonder how she is? Is she happy? What's her situation on the other side of the world? Sometimes, I miss her.' I'm starting to think that the stone isn't in Japan either. I haven't had a proper clue about it since I came to Japan. 'Maybe I can look at it from another angle. Anyway, finding the Blue Spider Lily and researching it should definitely give some clues.' I noticed it was almost midnight. I left the castle and headed towards an isolated forest. Today is the day I will contact Michikatsu. In the letter I sent him, I wrote that in 10 days I would wait for him at the specified time and place. After a few seconds, I arrived at the designated location. "He is my younger brother. He is the one who created the breathing techniques that allowed demon slayers to exert greater strength than a human can achieve," he replied. I noticed an underlying respect for Yoriichi in Michikatsu's voice. 'As I thought. Yoriichi is probably the assassin who appeared in Daki's memories due to Muzan's cells.'
"What's the mark on your forehead, Michikatsu?" I was obviously curious about this. It wasn't explained in the show.
"This is the mark of the demon slayer. Only certain individuals can unlock it. It gives great power and abilities, b-but," he breathed a bit and answered. "Those who unlock it die at 25 years old," he said with a sigh. Wow, I can probably guess why he chose this path. He wants to live even after reaching 25 and settle his feud with his brother.
I took off the mask. She was newly created. This mask will make anyone created by it have a certain level of loyalty to me. Just a superficial thought. As if they did nothing to put my life at risk.
"This mask will make you a vampire Michikatsu. They are similar to demons. They have enhanced physical abilities, body manipulation, regenerative powers. But they need human blood to survive and have a weakness to sunlight," I gave him an overview of vampire powers. After a few seconds of contemplation, he accepted becoming a vampire.
"Can I ask your name?" "You can call me Nosferato" I immediately placed the mask on his face and spread my blood on its surface. The mask's tentacles clung to his brain and the mask released a dazzling light. A few seconds later, the mask fell and my gaze landed on Michikatsu. "Er ... I was a little shocked because he had great self-control, since he didn't attack me immediately for blood. It may also have been because of the mask. "Congratulations Michikatsu, now you are a vampire"
As I had no human body with me, I gave him a little of my own blood. After drinking my blood, he put his sword in front of me and knelt down. I can't go back to the exterminator's body in this state," he replied with some embarrassment. "Suspiro, you can stay at my house for a while before you find your own home" "Thank you, master. I feel so powerful now. My physical abilities can't even compare to how I was when I was human," he said in jubilation. But soon he panicked. "What? You can't use your lunar breath," I asked him laughing, finding his expression of panic funny. "Don't worry, you can use it for a day or two. You need time to adapt to this body," I think. That's how I got a powerful helper and a trusted friend, Kokushibo.
