Poison spread (Nidoking): (Level 40)- Can effect 3 Pokemons.
(Level 45)- The spread speed of poison inside a Pokemon has increased
(Level 50): may counter resistance.
(Level 55): The user can cancel the move and 'Poison damage transfer'. This action would let the enemy not be poisoned but the user can gather a huge amount of health points.
(Level 60): Can be used in an area of 40 meters and can affect all the living beings in that area.
Poison damage transfer (Nidorino): (Level 40)- Can effect 3 Pokemons.
(Level 45)- Can transfer 30% of the damage caused to Nidoking's health. Previously it was only 20%.
(Level 50)- Doesn't need to be in constant touch with the user or its poison linking it to the user. It could be transferred without any contact for 3 minutes.
(Level 55): The user can cancel the move and 'Poison spread'. This action would let the enemy not be poisoned but the user can gather a huge amount of health points.
(Level 60): Can use 3 substitutes to use the move and the power of the move would be 2 times.
(Level 65): Can be used in an area of 40 meters and can affect all the living beings in that area.
Substitute (Nidoking): (Level 40): Can create 2 substitutes.
(Level 45): Substitute could also assist it in a move.
(Level 50): Its substitute can now attack too. The power of the substitute would be 30% of the original power.
(Level 55): Can create 3 substitutes.
(Level 60): All the health points received from 'Poison damage transfer' and 'Poison spread' could now be used in these substitutes to act as a tank.
Spinning poison (Nidorino): (Level 40): The speed of the move has increased.
(Level 45): The stamina consumption has decreased
(Level 50): The speed of the move has increased
(Level 55): Can change the direction of move once. time.
(Level 60): while using the move during the poison domain, the power of the move has greatly increased. However, the speed of the move is lowered by a bit.
(Level 65): The speed and power of the move have increased again. It is more concentrated than before
Sludge wave (Nidoking): (Level 40)Have more effecting and penetrating power.
(Level 45): The wave would have higher chance to poison the target.
Poison ball (Nidoking): (Level 40): can create 3 of them in an instant

(Level 50): can create 6 of them.
Focus Energy (Nidoking): (Level 40): Can focus in less than a second. The power of the next physical attack is greatly increased.
(Level 45): Can increase the attack and defense of the user for 5 minutes.
(Level 50): The speed of other moves would decrease after using this move.
Sand storm (Nidoking): (Level 40): It is much faster and fierce.
(Level 45): The enemy could not properly see in the sandstorm.
(Level 50): The storm would cause multiple small injuries and these injuries would take long time to heal.
(Level 55): Can mix poison in the storm that would make the target poisoned. Almost impossible to detect
Poison sting (Nidoking): (Level 40): It has more penetrating power.
(Level 45): Can shoot out small blades of poison
(Level 50): There is a higher chance of getting poisoned by it.
Sludge Bomb (Nidoking): (Level 40): Rapidly spread the sludge after it is bombed covering a wide area.
(Level 45): It takes less time to activated and is fast.
Dig (Nidoking): (Level 40): It could tell location of enemy during dig.
(Level 45): Can stay underground for 5 minutes.
(Level 50): Can use the move to take enemy Pokemons underground and deal significant damage. The lower the weight and height of the Pokemon than the user, the easier it is.
Mud bomb (Nidoking): (Level 40): The mud would stick to the Pokemon making them slower.
(Level 45): The mud would harden and increase the weight of the Pokemon.
(Level 50): Nidoking can send 6-10 mud bombs to the target. Each of the bombs could be individually customized with regard to their power and size.
(Level 60): with the help of Venom drench, the mud could be poisoned and after detonating, the target could be poisoned.
Fissure (Nidoking) (Level 40): The move is faster than before.
(Level 45): The power of the move have increased.
Sand Hardening (Nidoking) (Level 40): It is now in semi solid form.
(Level 45): Nidoking can now make constructs of sand using it.
(Level 50): Nidoking can now choose to harden some of the sand and lighten some of the sand as per its wishes. That would consume a huge amount of stamina.
(Level 55): Nidoking can make the construct of sands at a faster rate than before. The speed and the power of the move would be heightened during sand storm
Poison domain (Nidoking) (Level 40): The power of poison-type moves is greatly enhanced during the poison domain.
(Level 45): It could now last for 10 minutes and can cover 20 meters.
(Level 50): during the poison domain, the user could use other functions of poison very easily.
(Level 55): The area that it can affect has increased by 40 meters and can use it for 15 minutes.
(Level 60): The user can manipulate poison more freely and more minutely.
Venom drench (Nidoking) (Level 40): It could now be used in other poison type attacks.
(Level 45): The chances has increased to 40%
(Level 50): The 5 stacks of Venom drench. Each of the stack would activate at a random time which would cause massive pain to the target and make them unable to move for a few seconds. After the completion of these 5 stacks, the effect of the move will be over.
Sucker Punch (Nidoking) (Level 40): The power of the move has increased and the speed of the move too.
(Level 45): The move has a higher chance to flinch the target.
Rest (Nidoking) (Level 40): It could now recover 30% of the maximum health in an instant.
(Level 45): With the help of poison inside its body, there is a good chance that it would wake up faster.
Bite (Nidoking) (Level 40): There is a huge chance of flinching.
(Level 45): There is poison inside its mouth which may poison the target.
Thunder punch (Nidoking) (Level 40): The punches contain a hint of poison. It has higher chance to paralyze the target.
(Level 45): Nidoking both of its hand with the power of thunder and then delivers a devastating punch to the target.
(Level 50): It also charges its tail with the power of thunder and then send a barrage of thunder punches consecutively.
Iron tail (Nidoking) (Level 40): The tail contains poison and could poison the Pokemon.
Horn Drill (Nidoking) (Level 40): With the power of ground type energy, it increases its speed and charges in a single direction to deliver a powerful blow to its opponent.
(Level 45): The horn of the user is laced with poison that could cause maximum damage to the opponent if connected.

These were all the details of the upgraded moves of Nidoking. The little guy who had to take help to even run for a few kilometers had grown so much in just 3-4 years.
This showed the result of the potential of Pokemon and their hard work. If Nidoking was used well, then it might the most powerful Pokemon in his team. It was not a single target specialist like Charizard and Shedinja but a tide battle specialist that could overwhelm the weaker Pokemons and also stronger Pokemons.
After Venusaur and Gogoat, Nidoking must be the first Pokemon on this team with a strong healing move. 'Poison damage transfer' and 'Life suck' was not a joke if used in a tide battle.
The upgrade on moves like 'Poison spread', 'Poison damage transfer', and 'Substitute' were game-changing in tide battles. Yet, this was not the thing that made Nidoking the monster it is right now.
The thing that made it a monster was its newly acquired passive move which had also been upgraded to Stage II.

Poison manipulation:
Stage I: Can manipulate poison freely inside one's body and also inside the body of others. All the powers of the poison are boosted. Can also heal itself using the power of poison.
Stage II: The poison can now cause paralysis rapid stamina consumption or a decrease in healing.

Stage I of this move had already made Nidoking a lot stronger than before. Of course, the effect could not be done to multiple Pokemons but it was still a very big plus point. Nidoking can also additionally heal with poison inside its body.
Of course, the effect was not so high, otherwise, it really would be immortal.
The second stage of the move was what made it more interesting. For the longest time, Axel and Nidoking were thinking about how to change the effect of poison. As per Axel's understanding, poison could do a lot of things. Like paralyzing the opponent, decreasing the health and stamina and other things.
But it was very hard to do so and even after trying for so many years, Nidoking was not able to do it. Finally, with the second stage of this move, Nidoking can add the other effects in poison.
It could be used a surprise move or an end move for big boss fight. During those fights, even a second of additional time could be very valuable.
Nidoking was also training on the move 'Ancient power'. Of course, not as hard as Mamoswine but Axel believed that it would reach level 40 very soon.
Even though it had trained a lot and got a lot stronger, it was only training mainly in poison type moves, not ground type moves.
This was done with careful consideration. When it unlocked the ground type core, there were a lot of things to do for Nidoking. Nidoking knew a lot of moves and except for some of them, others were not so impactful. It reached to the point where it would not be able to use all the moves in a battle cause the range of the moves were so high.
So, focusing on both of the cores would not have been ideal at that time. They decided to first focus on poison type moves and then focus on ground types.
"Meg, you should now focus on the move 'Sand construct', 'Toxic spikes' and 'Toxic thread'. Let's concentrate on this for the whole month. You are already very close to reaching tier 3.
After that we will focus on other things.", said Axel.
'Toxic spikes' and 'Toxic thread' were simple moves but they were equally very deadly. One of the nature of toxic was that the condition of the enemy would get worse after every passing minute which was great in longer battles like tide battles.
For the move 'Sand construct', Axel had made some grand plans. He wanted it to be another overpowered version of 'Substitute'. He also wanted it to take the advantage of 'Poison damage transfer' just like the move 'Substitute'.
All of this might not be completed in a month but Axel had high hopes for Nidoking.
It was now time to look into Beedrill and Alakazam.
