Pokemon - A real story

Axel realized that whenever his Pokemons ranked up, their training would be more specific than before. Let's take the example of Wartortle and Alakazam. Alakazam was focused on a single or couple of moves while Wartortle was focusing on a lot of moves.

If the trend was going in such a way then when his Pokemons reach champion rank or master rank, they will only be focusing on a single concept or 2 concepts. So, Axel had to make plans thinking about the future.

So, for Alakazam, he had to think based on the future directions. Space and Telekinesis. For Telekinesis, it had made a lot of progress but for space, ther\e was very little progress.

Now, space was something that Alakazam was very interested and Axel really felt that it had some talent in this field too. It was able to make such a big progress in 'Teleport' and also helped Beedrill on space type move 'The Army'.

So, the thing that Axel wanted it to focus on was portals. Portals were a very advanced concept and Axel did tell it to not be stressed if there were no progress for a long time.

Portals to another dimension were going to be impossible for Alakazam at least for now. But in the near places was very doable. It had been doing telekinesis and teleporting for a long time and Axel believed that it could do this too.

But Axel didn't know how to teach this to Alakazam. He didn't have any mastery over space. But luckily Alakazam had some sort of idea based on Beedrill's new move 'The Army'. This move also had some concepts that matched what Alakazam was trying to do.

Axel also gave it some advice on the upgrades of the moves.

Shedinja was doing all of its training on its own and Axel felt that it didn't need any advice. Charizard was on the island training to become stronger. Venusaur and Gyarados were already training on their plans.

Gogoat was training on upgrading its guardian move and also training on some new moves. It had gotten more serious after it had found its path. Mamoswine was training to reach tier 2 king rank.

Slowemperor had reached a very curious state. It was doing something new. Axel and it had made some proper plans on how to progress. Steelix was right now busy with its girlfriends and it had become very strong. Currently, it was powerful for a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon.

The only training plans that he had made were for his young Pokemons. Pokemons like Wartortle and Magnemite already had their own training plans and they were working hard on it. It was not like they were going to participate in the tide. Axel had decided that until the tide was completed, they would be at home training and spending time with family.

Wartortle was very happy that it could spend some time with Agnes's Squirtle. It was showing off how powerful it had become and how fast it had evolved. All of those were just child antics and everyone was having a good time.

Salamence was now training on the Aeus island. It didn't want to stay there for a long time but Axel convinced it that this was the fastest way for it to get stronger.

The only Pokemons left to make any sort of training plan were Togetic, Feraligatr, Aerodactyl, and Primeape. Axel wanted them to participate in the tide. They had done so before and they also had a bit of experience. Axel wanted them to be ready for the tide battle.

But, he felt that he would go on a gym battle for them. A Pokemon needs gym battles to grow stronger. There, they would meet stronger opponents and they can fight to their potential.

Axel had 2 badges for the Johto region right now. Most of his younger Pokemons were already at elemental rank. His next battle would be with a gym leader who would use elemental rank Pokemon.

Axel believed that this was the perfect time for Togetic, Primeape, and Aerodactyl to get some first-hand experience. But the problem was which gym would he choose?

Axel didn't have the time to analyze it right now. First, he had to go and meet with the team members that were in Seafoam Islands. He was already here for more than a couple of days and he could not delay any longer. So, he booked the flight and decided to go.

He was only taking Alakazam and Venusaur with him. The rest of his Pokemons were busy training in the training grounds. There were also some wild Pokemons in the forest that they could train in. So, this was the perfect place for them to get stronger.

"Axel, can't you stay for a bit longer? You just came like a few days before?", asked his mother.

"Mother, I had to go there and manage my team. I have to leave now. Don't worry, I will come back after a few weeks.", assured Axel.

Noah and Agnes went to the airport with him and he said his goodbyes to them. The plane would take a day to reach Seafoam islands and he had a lot of time to do research on the upcoming gyms and about Seafoam islands.

After thinking about it for some time, Axel decided that he would target Ecruteak City Gym. This gym was both hard and easy at the same time. It was a ghost-type gym and there were only 2 ghost-type Pokemons in this region. Gengar and Misdreavus. So, the leader of the gym might use 2 Gengars or 2 Misdreavus.

This gym was difficult cause it was a ghost-type gym and Axel didn't have any dark-type or ghost-type Pokemons to battle it out. The gym was also easy cause it was easy to plan the fight cause there were only 2 Pokemons to deal with.

Even though there were only 2 Pokemons, Gengar was very difficult to deal with it. It was very bulky and also very powerful. So, he had to plan for it. He was also going to ask for Shedinja's advice as it had trained under Gengar.

He was only going to use Togetic, Aerodactyl, and Primeape. This was not going to be an easy battle for them considering that the gym leaders of the Johto region didn't have any good impression of him. But even if he were to lose this gym battle, he was okay with it. At least, his Pokemons would get some valuable experience from this gym battle. His young Pokemons needed a different aspect of experience to deal with different types of Pokemons and this was an ideal gym for them.

Axel went on to search for the current gym leader of Ecruteak City. The current gym leader of the city was Norty. He was the father of the future gym leader Morty. The names were very similar and Norty was not a bad guy.

The reviews of the gym were very positive. Especially, the behavior of the gym leader was considered very good. Axel already had a good vibe with this gym. So, he booked a gym battle after 7 days.

He also called home and told his mom to tell his Pokemons to get ready for the gym battle.

The plane ride was very tiring for him and he never liked it. One of the reasons why he brought Alakzam here was for it to be able to use 'Teleport' next time. Turned out that Alakazam could imprint the place in airplane too. So, that was a good advantage. Seafoam Islands was obviously more than 500K miles farther than Hakone city.

Seafoam Islands was called Seafoam islands and not Seafoam island cause it was the merger of multiple islands. The islands were close to each other and if one were to look from the sky, it would seem that the island was covered by the sea as soft foam.

Hence the name.

The test was to protect one of the islands and it was the main island. It was called the main island cause it was at the front where all of the wild Pokemons would attack. The island was also the biggest of all of them and it was also the one that was the most developed.

The name of that island was Honshu Island. Axel was now going to that island. Even though defending islands like this was very simple, it could also be very dangerous. Wild Pokemons of the sea were not so simple. The humans have not even explored 1% of the sea and wild Pokemons out there were exceptionally strong.

The wild Pokemons that had been living in the sea had not been disturbed for who knows how long. May be thousands of years or even maybe millions of years. So, it was estimated that some of them were even at god rank. It was also rumored that there were a few god-rank Pokemons near every island.

If the difficulty of the mission was not determined to be B rank of High level, Axel would have never selected this mission. He knew that Gerad was not stupid enough to even temper the difficulty of the mission.

As Axel was thinking about all these things, he fell asleep and when he woke up, the plane was ready to land. He must have slept a lot as he was mentally very tired.

The struggles were never ending and there was always a new challenge after another. He did love the hustle and the new challenges but sometimes it would take over him mentally.

Finally, he reached the airport. Ashmita was waiting for him at the airport.

"How is everybody?", asked Axel.

"Everyone is doing well sir. We are now talking to the mayor of the island and also mapping the area as you have instructed. Some of us are now making plans for which side to choose and what sort of strategy we should take."

"Good, you guys are now experienced in this. After an hour, set up a meeting with all of us then we will talk to the mayor in the evening.", said Axel as they got into a car.

The car was gifted by the mayor of this island as a gesture. The mayor also knew that Axel and the team were very special. The mayor also didn't want to miss this chance. It was not that Axel had not understood the gesture but right now, he didn't care. He came here to do a job and he will complete it.

After that Axel went to the hotel. The hotel was already booked. Actually, all the fees of the hotel for Axel and the team were free. This was the courtesy of the island and the mayor. Axel was happy that he could save a few bucks.

Axel also noticed that the behavior and the reaction of the citizens were unusual. Usually, during the time of the tide, the people of the city would be very depressed. Some of them would pray to their own gods, some of them would look like life had left them and some of them would just be very scared.
