Pokemon - A real story

Axel set up another meeting to discuss the traps and other plans for all the king-rank Pokemons that they would be facing. Arbiter was quite strong as she also had 2 king-rank Pokemons with her and within the team of 50k that was under her, there were 5 soldiers with each having 1 tier 1 king-rank Pokemon.

Of course, her team was not as strong as Axel but that was okay. There were not only going to face king-rank Pokemons but also other ranks of Pokemons and her team will be very helpful.

It also turned out that most of her soldiers had psychic-type Pokemons, so they could collect a massive group of 20000 Pokemons which could use the move 'Teleport'. This was massive as they could cover the whole area.

"For the first few days, we will be playing defensive as we don't know what we will face. Playing defensive will also make it easier for those psychic-type Pokemons to save us.", said Krishna suggesting a plan.

"That is well and good but those 6 teams will not hesitate to go on the offensive. What plans do you have for the night raid, Alon?"

"Sir, I want to completely eradicate ghost-type and dark-type Pokemons at night. This will give a lot of room to breathe. There are only 5 king-rank Pokemons in the ghost and dark type category and only one of them is a tier 2 king rank Pokemon.

 I think that sir should personally intervene and finish the night raid as much as possible.", said Alon.

This was a good strategy and Axel approved of it. Night raids were very dangerous and it was needed for Axel to personally intervene and finish it.

"I will do it. Now, for this entire month, I will not be here and will be busy with other things. You will notify me of all the progress that is to be done and I will be back before the tide.", said Axel.

Axel was now going to the Johto region for the gym battle. He had already gotten the master balls of Togetic, Aerodactyl, and Primeape. They were going to be used in the current battle. Aerodactyl knew moves like 'Bite' which was very good for ghost-type Pokemons but for Pokemons like Primeape, it was going to be very difficult as fighting-type moves were not going to do anything to ghost-type Pokemon.

So, he was going to use Primeape first. It might lose this battle but it would get a lot of experience in dealing with such kinds of Pokemons.

He took a flight to Ecruteak City. Since it was in the Johto region it took around 2 days to reach there. He had already booked a gym battle with the gym leader.

Ecruteak city had a bit of history. The legend of the 3 legendary beasts was said to come from the burnt tower of the Ecruteak city. The story of the burnt bell tower was very famous. One would expect that it had become some sort of museum but that was not the case. The bell tower was very big. It was one of the tallest buildings in the city and the place was haunted. The place was filled with ghost-type Pokemons.

Catching a powerful ghost-type Pokemons was everyone's dream and Bell Tower was the perfect place for it. Yet Axel didn't want to catch any ghost-type Pokemon right now. Of course, Pokemons like Gastly would be overpowered in the future but Axel had a lot of Pokemons and Shedinja was the perfect ghost-type Pokemon as per Axel.

So, he was not interested in it. He wanted to explore the city but he really didn't have any time right now. The gym battle would start after 2 days and he wanted to make a battle plan with his Pokemons.

The first Pokemon that he was going to use was Primeape. Ghost types were immune to fighting types but that was not the reason why he chose to use Primeape. After it had ranked up, Axel immediately realized that most of its moves were fighting type. Even 'Thrash', was a normal type move that would do nothing if it were to face a ghost-type Pokemon. So, had trained it on 2 new moves that were very versatile.

Togetic was his strongest Pokemon for the gym battle. But Gengar was also resistant to fairy-type moves. Thankfully, Togetic didn't solely depend on fairy-type moves.

This was the first gym battle that he was not confident to win. But Axel didn't care about it. Even if he were to lose, his new Pokemons would learn a lot.

Due to their consistent wins, they had become a bit arrogant. It was now time for them to realize that the world was bigger than they imagined.

2 days had passed in a blink of an eye. Axel told them the battle plan and also told them the importance of this gym battle.

"We may not be able to win this battle but I want us to give that gym leader a hard time. So, be ready for anything."

Axel was actually concerned about Togetic's future growth. Training a fairy-type Pokemon was not an easy task. It was not only because they had slow progress. Their progress was indeed slow but it was also because they were shrouded in mystery.

Axel had read a lot of books about fairy-type Pokemon and as per him, he can develop Togetic in mostly 4 ways. Light magic, nature magic, moon magic, and fairy realm magic.

All of them had different difficulty levels. Fairy realm magic was a concept that was very hard to grasp. The concept was to access the fairy realm and suck the power of Xerneas, the god of fairy-type Pokemons. Axel didn't know how to do it but he did know that Togetic as of right now could not do such a thing.

He believed that Togetic had to be at least at master rank or even god rank to achieve such a thing.

Nature magic was also very hard. Nature magic could do a lot of things. It included elemental powers, making oneself far stronger than before, taking advantage of nature around the user to deal damage and recover itself, and many other things.

Axel believed that Togetic would not be able to do this too right now. It had just created its fairy-type core and just reached elemental rank. So, it would need at least king rank to do such a thing.

The only thing left was moon magic and light magic. Both of them were doable. Light magic moves were like 'Dazzling gleam' and moon magic moves were like 'Moonlight'.

So, Axel told Togetic to train in light magic moves. Training in 'Moon light' was harder for it compared to 'Dazzling gleam'. So, he believed that creating a new move based on light would be easier.

Creating a new move had never been easy. So, Togetic was training very hard. It had also started to train in Nature magic. Even though it would not be able to use it right now, training it at an early age would help it a lot.

The new nature move that it had been training was on the same concept that Sakura or Tsunade had trained in Naruto world. The concept was to release 'Strength of a hundred technique'.

Yet, it had not been able to make any progress in it but Axel was not so hurried about that. He just wanted it to learn a new move focused on light elements.

The concept of the move was to somehow create a dark light by absorbing all the negative feelings and dark and ghost elements. There were light faires and also dark faires. So, he believed that Togetic to do this too.

Since the concept was vague, Axel knew that it was going to take some time and could not be completed before the gym battle. But it was okay. The progress might be slow but it was still progress.

Since, this was the gym battle between Axel and Norty, the people in the city were hyped. Axel was very famous and was considered one of the genius trainers in the entire world. Norty's gym was going to earn a lot in from this gym battle, so he was actually very happy about it.

In the games, there might be only 8 gyms in the whole region but in real life, such was not the case. There were a lot of gyms in the different cities but the most famous ones were those 8 gyms.

Ecruteak City Gym was also very famous. Not because it was a very difficult gym but because it was a gym of ghost-type Pokemons. Ghost-type Pokemons were very unusual and people found them very interesting.

Axel had fought in a lot of gym battles, so he was not so nervous about it.

So, he went to the gym battle with his hood and mask on. There was a whole crowd waiting outside of the gym for his battle. He was going to lose a lot of faces if he lost this battle. For a second, he cursed his bad luck for not bringing Slowemperor as a backup but this fight was not to gain reputation but to gain experience for his Pokemons.

Axel slowly went to the reception and got himself registered for the fight. The receptionist also understood that Axel wanted this to be kept under wraps, so she also didn't make any noise and invited him to the waiting room.

A middle-aged man opened the door. The man was skinny and he was wearing black attire. Axel knew who this man was.

"Axel, finally got to meet you in person.", said the man and shook Axel's hand.

"Mr. Norty, I was expecting you to come."

"So, are you nervous? Ah, stupid question. How can you be nervous for such a normal gym battle but I must tell you, I may not be so easy for you.", said Norty with a smile.

"Oh, I know about that. But don't worry, I will be winning this battle."

"Confident, huh? Ok, let me see your moves. I am excited. Come into the stadium after 15 minutes. I will be waiting.", said Norty and then went out of the room.
