Pokemon: Arceus' Champion

Even as the battle on the ship began to simmer down, after Giana took control of the airship and Grey was killed by professor Oak and his Dragonite, the battle between the aquatic trainers and Team Aqua continued to rage like a...well like a Hurricane.

A literal mini storm raged around both Archie and Hudson's Gyarados as they battled one another, the former accompanied by several other of Archie's pokemon. Meanwhile a fierce underwater battle was also taking place between both Archie and Ace's Sharpedo, a battle that saw Ace's Sharpedo being pushed back slightly due to the vicious and unrelenting nature of Archie's Sharpedo.

But Ace's Sharpedo had one advantage Archie's didn't, she had her entire school with her.

"SHAR!" She cried out to her school, sending them into a frenzy as they all swarmed and attacked Archie's Sharpedo one after the other, not to kill it, but to subdue it like her trainer would want.

At the same time, with all of his pokemon being occupied, Archie himself was locked into vicious battle against Hudson as the two old men duked it out for supremacy.

"RAAA!" Archie roared as he swung around the chain he used for a weapon, which also had a small anchor attached to the end.

"Predictable." Hudson said calmly despite the storm raging around them, as he sidestepped the attack before taking a step back to put some distance between himself and Archie.

"Surf!"

"!!!"

Even as it battled ost of his own pokemon, Archie was forced to grab hold of one of the rungs used for entering and exiting the sub as Hudson's Gyarados suddenly flooded the entire area with water, nearly washing him and several of his men into the ocean.

"Hudson! You treacherous bastard!" Archie growled growled angrily, even as his eyes swept the battlefield.

The sight sobered him up a little bit as he saw his men bitterly battling against the trainers of the SS. Anne, the same trainers that Giovanni assured him that would be no problem, and that his men would be able to handle.

"Just what the hell is going on up there?" Archie grumbled, as only a hadful of his men had managed to make it up there. This trip was starting to appear as if it would cost him more than he was being paid.

"Sir! Reporting from the top!"

"What now?" Archie growled, not liking the tone of the grunt.

"Almost ALL of the Team Rocket agents and grunts have either been defeated or defected! Their airship has been taken over, and the Admin leading the attack has just been killed!"

"!!!"

The news stunned Archie as he tried to wrap his mind around it, right as something large and heavy hit the ocean nearby.

He turned just in time to see said object sink beneath the waves, and all was calm for a beat, before suddenly it burst out of the water like a furious Lugia. Except this was a bug.

"DRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL!"

The massive, true alpha, Beedrill cried out shrillfully as she emerged from the water, obviously enraged at having been captured and controlled.

And as the water and parts of armor fell from her body, Archie noticed a humanoid figure standing atop the section of her body beside her head.

"LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Even after draining myself with that last stunt, I was riding high as Beedrill and I emerged from the ocean, the salty water shocking her awake after she momentarily lost consciousness from being freed from Team Rocket's control. And now she was PISSED.

I mean, I would be too if I went through what she did. But thank Mew that she wasn't going to just take it out on ALL of the humans here.

Instead, I felt Beedrill focus her intent on the few remaining Rockets that were still trying to fight. As she did so, ALL of the Beedrill that had been trying to kill us mere moments ago, all turned their attention towards the remaining Rockets as well.

"You got this?" I asked the true alpha.

"Drill." She stated firmly.

"Got it!" I declared, and leapt off of her shoulder as she neared the ship.

Instead of landing on the ship though, I countinued downwards while slowing my descent slightly with my psychic abilities, tiring myself even more while landing directly in front of Archie.

"Bad move brat." Archie snarled as he prepared the length of chain in his hands.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I told him seriously.

"Oh yeah? And why not?" He snarled back.

"Because I'm being kind enough to let you go." I replied.

"!?!"

"Ace..." Hudson said behind me in warning. Meanwhile Archie was studying me, as if trying to figure out my angle.

"Why?" Archie eventually asked, apparently unable to figure out why I would let them go.

"Why you asking? Want to face THEM instead?" I asked back, pointing to Beddrill and her brood, who were on a mission to destroy those who had wronged them. Beedrill even took that moment to destroy one of Archie's subs, increasing his losses further.

"..."

"Fine." Archie eventually said, apparently realizing that continuing would just see the end to Team Aqua.

"FALL BACK! WE'RE RETREATING!"

"Let them go." I said over my earpiece as Archie called the retreat, and the trainers fighting against them tried to give chase.

"We should finish them now!" Lance declared back as he arrived with Cynthia and Iris, who was still riding atop Pidgeot.

"I concur." Steven stated in agreement.

"I understand, and it WOULD be better to wipe as many of the criminal organizations out as we can. But Steven, if we destroy Team Aqua here and now, then it means that Team Magma has no competition as they achieve their goals." I explained to them.

"..."

"'The enemy of my enemy is my friend', is that it?" Steven asked eventually.

"More of, 'let them fight'." I told him, using a favorite quote from a certain famous kaiju franchise.

"After all, no one hates Team Aqua as much as Team Magma, and vice versa. Let them focus on each other instead of opening the way for one by removing their rivals. Trust me, I don't like it as much as you do, but it beats having to go and wage war on Team Magma as soon as we're finished here."

"..."

Silence greeted my explanation, aside from the subs around us submersing into the ocean once more. This left Hudson and I momentarily stranded in the water, but one of my Gyarados quickly came to help me while his did the same for him.

"I hope you know what you're doing Ace." Hudson said, radiating bitterness from letting Archie go.

"I hope so too. So what's the history?" I asked him while we waited to climb back on deck. A ladder had already been lowered, so we were just letting the other trainers go up first while Misty joined us, even as she kept a wide berth from the Gyarados.

"Not much to tell." Hudson grumbled. "I'm a sailor, Archie is a pirate. Makes sense that we've crossed paths more than a few times on the sea because of it. He's also a fanatic about the ocean and the 'true' ruler of the sea, Kyogre. I always thought he was just full of it."

"Sadly, he's not. Kyogre WAS the creator of the oceans, and later created Lugia to guard them while it slumbered once it's job was finished. At least according to the true alpha Dragonite. But if it wakes up, it can plunge the whole world into a new ice age, or drown us all in a never ending deluge. Whether Archie and Team Aqua are aware of that, I can't say."

"Hmmm..." Hudson hummed as he brooded over what we had discussed, until it was finally our turn to climb the ladder.

"You and Misty first." Hudson stubbornly said, and Misty quickly began to scramble up the rope ladder while I followed behind her, after recalling all of my Gyarados, Sharpedo and Milotic. I would need to make sure they all got properly rewarded later for all of their hard work for the last few days.

"Eyes down son." Hudson said below as I glanced up at Misty's lovely ass cheeks that hung out of her sinful booty shorts, making me smirk even as I glanced back downwards.

The three of us quickly climbed up over the railing of the ship as we reached the top of the ladder, which was quite a long ways now that I actually had to make that climb.

"Welcome back aboard." Professor Oak said as he and the others greeted us.

"Glad to be back aboard." I replied while looking around curiously. The fighting had all but concluded, with the Beedrill being the ones to finish any remaining Team Rocket agents as per their creator's will.

"This is....amazing..." Professor Oak uttered as he looked around in awe, particularly at the true alpha Beedrill.

"Is this your first time seeing a true alpha, professor?" I asked him curiously.

"Sadly, not all of us can be so lucky as you Ace." The professor replied wistfully.

I fought back a smile as the professor watched the true alpha and her children like a child on Christmas, before she began to descend towards the deck.

"Uh....Ace?!" Steven uttered worriedly as she approached us specifically.

"Its alright." I told him with a wry smile, stepping up as everyone quickly gave her a wide enough berth to land upon the previously unused arena.

"As I live and breathe..." I heard Aaron, of the Sinnoh Elite Four, uttered in disbelief as he gazed upon her. After all, he WAS a bug specialist.

"Yeah, just don't get too close to her." I told him while stepping forward myself.

"Is she dangerous?" Aaron asked curiously.

"Very. But she's also, understandably, wary of most humans right now."

Even as I said that I stepped towards Beedrill as she leaned down to look at me more closely.

"Driiiiiiiiiill."

"You're welcome, it was my pleasure. Are you feeling alright?"

"Bee bee, drill."

"Yeah? Well some rest ought to clear that up. Will you be able to make it home?"

"Bee."

"That's good."

As our conversation seemingly ended, Beedrill surprised me as she angled her large body oddly.

"???"

I watched her in confusion for a moment, before she laid an egg right there on the middle of the deck.

I'm not kidding.

"Drill." She said after laying the egg, nudging it towards me.

"Thank you." I replied while accepting the egg, before she also pointed one of her drill-like stingers at me to gently tap me on the head with it.

Similarly to Zapdos and Dragonite, I could feel some of Beedrill's aura infusing my own through the contact, before she withdrew her stinger and started to flap her wings once more.

"DRIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL!"

With one last cry, Beedrill and most of her children around us took off to the west to return to Viridian forest, while all of the other Beedrill spread out in every other direction.

"Where are they going?" Lance asked, as most amongst them were the genetically modified Beedrill, and ALL of them were alphas.

"They're the female alphas, so they're spreading out to establish their own hives in the world." I told him while putting my newly acquired egg into my bag to keep it safe.

"Even the modified ones?" Professor Oak asked eagerly, his question being more academic in nature.

"Yes. I do believe that we have witnessed the beginning of numerous variants of Beedrill in the wild. If I'm right, all of the eggs they lay in the future will be the same subspecies they all are, and they will establish entire hives of the same variants to increase their numbers further." I said while watching them all go in awe.

"Aren't they dangerous?" Sonia asked worriedly.

"All pokemon are. They'll just need to find their place in the world." I told her.

"I propose that we all keep an eye on the wild regions of our regions in the near future." Lance told the other Champions.

"Ya can leave that to us!" Declared Steve Sherwin as he joined us with Wendy and Kate. "Managing wild pokemon and keeping them safe is our job."

"That's right. I'll give Chairwoman Erma a call as soon as I can about the situation." Wendy added.

"If that's all settled, then shall we discuss the Copperajah in the room?" Asked Chairman Rose, who pointed at the airship descending towards us.

"Right... Theres that." I groaned while recalling what Giana and this Ariana lady had said earlier.

"So what is this?" Professor Birch asked, sounding as if he wasn't sure if he should be alert or welcoming.

"Uhhh... I guess Giana led a takeover of the airship, and now they think I'm their new Boss." I said while shaking my head at the ridiculousness of the situation. And to add to it, the former Rockets aboard the ship chose that moment to drop numerous banners over the bright red R's to cover them, banners with the golden rings of Arceus on them.

"What does that mean?"

"Did they help take down Team Rocket?"

"Are they more bad guys?!"

I said nothing to the numerous comments people were making around us as the airship came in, before coming to a stop as it hovered beside the SS. Anne.

"We are coming aboard." Declared a voice over an intercom, before the cargo bay doors opened to reveal numerous men and women, mostly women, dressed in white uniforms with golden accents on them that matched my uniform that I got with my winnings, complete with even the rings of Arceus.

"What is this Giana?" I asked while not even trying to hide my exasperation.

"This is Team Arceus Aegis." Giana said hile they all approached me as if it were obvious.

"Arceus Aegis?" I repeated back at her.

"Indeed. A Team dedicated towards combating the criminal organizations of the world alongside their Boss." Giana explained.

"I'm not your 'Boss'." I said, repeating what I had told to Ariana earlier. Speaking of...

"So who's who?" I asked, pointing to the other two women standing on either side of Giana. One was a mature woman with shoulder length scarlet red hair, while the other looked to be in her early twenties with curled blond hair.

While the rest of those behind them had their own specific uniforms, these three had their own unique versions, with Giana wearing a skintight leather outfit, the scarlet haired woman wearing a long dress, and the blonde wearing a designer jacket with a tight little miniskirt. All of them were white with gold of course, and they all had the rings of Arceus sewed onto them.

"This is Ariana, who will head our personnel, and Domino, who will head our covert operations." Giana explained while gesturing to the scarlet and blonde haired women respectfully. "Obviously, I plan to run the day-to-day operations myself, but all of Team Arceus Aegis, including almost all of the former assets, properties, and financial accounts belonging to Giovanni now belong to yourself."

"!?!"

I blinked in surprise as Giana produced a tablet, which showed dozens, maybe even hundreds, of properties and facilities that were now registered under my name, along with an ASTRONOMICAL amount of money that was now in my account.

"I-I think I need to sit down for a moment..." I uttered, feeling as if my heart was about to give out at any second.

"I got you partner."

I felt something press upon my back to keep me from staggering backwards, which was Lucario as he leaned up against me to hold me up.

"You going to make it?"

"Maybe..." I replied uncertainly, not knowing how to handle everything Giana just showed me. After all, I basically just became one of the wealthiest men in the world without even realizing it...

"This is..." Professor Oak muttered as he too looked over the list that Giana was showing me, apparently similarly at a loss for words.

"I know this can be...shocking." Giana said while the girls also looked over the tablet in disbelief.

"Is this even legal?" Cynthia asked, appearing to be genuinely curious.

"To be fair, a majority of Giovanni's properties and finances were achieved as a result of illegal means to begin with. We just stole them from him, and signed them over to Ace's name." Ariana explained as if it were that simple.

"And what about them? They claim to follow Ace now, but aren't they criminals?" Dawn muttered to the other girls suspiciously.

"Well, if they were TRULY bad then Ace probably would have called them out on it." Misty said, though she sounded uncertain.

"Haaaaaa..." I sighed tiredly while trying to wrap my mind around this, creating a cloud of mist as I did so.

"Hm?"

I looked up at that, breathing out once again as I did so to create another cloud of mist.

"Brrr! Am I the only one feeling cold all of a sudden?" Misty asked as she began shaking where she stood, which was understandable since she was wearing a crop top and booty shorts, and was still completely wet from fighting alongside our water pokemon earlier.

But, it did feel as if it was suddenly colder than it had been a moment ago...

"Hey look! Its starting to snow!" Someone exclaimed suddenly, right as several white flakes began to fall from the sky.

"!!!"

"Oh fuck me!"
