Pokémon: Ash's New Journey

"Miss Lucy, I... I fell in love with you at first sight! You are so beautiful!"

Brock felt a surge of emotion stronger than he had ever experienced before!

It surpassed any feelings he had for any other girl he admired in the past!

He couldn't contain himself any longer!

Next to him, May and Misty both shook their heads, ready to step in and pull Brock away.

But to their surprise, Lucy blushed and shyly looked at Brock.

Wait, what...?

What was going on?

"How dare you, you rude boy! Let go of Queen Lucy's hand right now!"

Seeing a random guy rush forward, confess his feelings outright, and even grab the hand of her most respected Queen Lucy, Lucy's assistant, Barbara, could no longer hold back.

However, before Barbara could intervene, Lucy stopped her.

" Barbara, I've told you before not to be rude to our guests!"

Barbara was stunned. What was going on?

When had their Lady Lucy ever allowed a man to hold her hand like this? It was unbelievable!

Recalling the guy's words about falling for Queen Lucy at first sight, she dared not think any further.

Brock's excitement reached its peak. This beautiful long-haired woman hadn't rejected him!

Oh my gosh!

Could it be that Brock's youth was finally about to flourish?

Only Brock knew how tough it had been for him lately!

With Misty and May both having developed feelings for Ash and the subtle glances they exchanged daily, Brock was about to lose his mind!

"Uh... ahem... everyone, how about we start the battle now?"

Spencer, the referee, finally stepped in when he saw Brock and Lucy still holding hands.

Lucy snapped back to her senses, her face turning even redder.

For the first time, she felt her heart race like this for a guy!

"Yes... Well, everyone, please follow me!"

Lucy quickly led the group into the Battle Pike.

The battleground of the Battle Pike combined both land and water environments.

"Now, the match between Battle Pike Queen Lucy and Challenger Ash will begin!

Each side can use two Pokémon. The battle ends when all of one side's Pokémon are unable to battle!

Both sides, please send out your Pokémon!"

As the referee finished speaking, Ash and Lucy both released their Pokémon.

"Seviper, you're up!"

"Feraligatr, I choose you!"

Lucy sent out her Seviper, while Ash sent out his Feraligatr!

"Huh? Ash is using Feraligatr? I can't wait to see how he uses such a strong Water-type Pokémon!"

Misty, holding her Azurill in her arms, watched the battlefield with anticipation.

"Ash, let me see how you handle Lucy. In some ways, she's an even tougher opponent than Tucker."

Spencer also looked on with anticipation.

"Feraligatr, use Aqua Tail as a greeting!"

"Seviper, dodge and use Coil!"

Hearing the command to use Coil, Ash was genuinely surprised for the first time since his Battle Frontier challenge began.

This was the real Pokémon world. Lucy's Seviper had actually learned Coil, a troublesome move. This wasn't in the original storyline, so Ash hadn't checked Seviper's data beforehand. He hadn't expected this...

Feraligatr's Aqua Tail struck towards Seviper, but Seviper used the surrounding rocks to dodge and coiled its body, boosting its attack, defense, and accuracy!

Coil simultaneously enhanced three of Seviper's stats, making it a challenging opponent!

Even Ash was feeling the pressure now.

After all, his Feraligatr's level wasn't as high as Seviper's.

"Seviper, use Poison Tail to strike the water!"

"Feraligatr, rush in and grab Seviper's tail!"

Since Seviper could use Coil, Ash decided to counter it with Feraligatr's Ice-type moves!

Seviper's Poison Tail hit the water, creating strong ripples, but Feraligatr leaped out of the water and grabbed Seviper's tail just above the tip.

"Seviper, use Venom Fang!"

"Feraligatr, dodge and use Ice Fang!"

Both Pokémon's moves landed on each other!

Luckily, Venom Fang's poisoning effect didn't activate, but Seviper's speed was reduced due to Ice Fang.

The area Seviper was hit had already frozen!

"Impressive, Ash. Seviper, Coil again!"

"Feraligatr, use Agility and follow it up with Sand Tomb!"

Seviper coiled again, further boosting its attack, defense, and accuracy.

"You're trying to use Sand Tomb to restrict our movements? Don't forget, this Battle Facility has water! Seviper, use Poison Tail to strike the water and disperse the Sand Tomb!"

Lucy cleverly used the battlefield's water to her advantage.

As expected of the fourth Battle Frontier Brain, Lucy was indeed formidable!

But Ash's Sand Tomb had a dual purpose. Whether Lucy defended or not wouldn't affect Ash's next move.

Lucy chose to disperse the sand with water, which was exactly what Ash wanted!

Seviper had used Poison Tail to hit the water twice, leaving large puddles across the ground. This was the perfect setup for a decisive move!

"Now's the time! Feraligatr, use Ice Beam!"
