Protoganist's Sidekick Fights Back

Su Kang sat near Bai yunxi and put her head in his lap. Then used his powers to removed her deep sleeping state. He lit up an incense that is used by cultivators to relax their mind and calm their emotions.

Bai yunxi slept for four hours before she woke up. After feeling a presence near her body and her head on something else instead of a pillow, she became alert and afraid.

" Do not worry. It is me, Su Kang. You are safe." He said while caressing her head.

" Why are you in my room?" She asked aloud without any fear.

" We are leaving for another journey. Since I am pursuing you for real, it's a surprise for you."

She tried to get up from his lap but her body didn't move. She is surprised to hear this and confused as well.

" I really like you, Bai yunxi. I am not asking you to pretend anymore. You already guessed it, right. I was talking about you."

" Now I am asking you to give me this week so I can pursue you as a man. From now on I will not see you as Li Fang's mother but as a woman. "

Bai yunxi is left astonished and overwhelmed by his words. That fragile thin line which they were using to save their face, is now gone. Now he said everything clearly to her. There is no excuse anymore or face saving acts now.

" If you are still worried about him. I can swear an Heart demon oath about his safety. Will that ease your heart?" He said looking into her eyes.

Bai yunxi heard his words and closed her eyes. She thought everything he said and how many times he risked his life for her son.

She knew he was sure about Li Fang's safety otherwise he would not be spoke about Heart demon oath.

" No, I trust you. I will try to not worry about him." she can't help but sometimes still worried about her son.

Bai yunxi get up from his lap and sat down but her hand was still held by him.

Bai yunxi is still feeling embarassed by his open intense gaze. She is not used to his intense gaze. But she is still thinking about his words. He is trying to erase all her worries.

She is touched by this effort but she will not say anything more. Hearing from his about her son, she is sure that her son will be fine. She didn't want to open her heart in front of Su Kang clearly.

Su Kang looked at face and used both of his hands to hold her face.

" If you do not speak then do not blame me for what can happen between you and me." He smiled mischievously at her.

Bai yunxi tried to escape from his hands but failed. She looked at his face coming closer to her face. She panicked instantly and said.

" You stop. Don't do this. I am old woman. " she is afraid of current Su Kang.

" You are only a dozen years older than me. My father is fifteen years older than my mother. I do know many people who has fifty year age gap between them. Stop making excuses." Su Kang said with sigh and took his hands back.

" Atleast give me valid reasons, please. Take your time, you can think all the reasons for rejecting me. I will hear those reasons tommorow."

" If your reasons are valid then I will not pursue you anymore." He left the cabin after saying it.

Bai yunxi is troubled by his sudden transformation. She knows that now she can't avoid this situation.

She has to give him valid reasons otherwise he might really do something to her. Just thinking about about it is enough to turn her face red.
