Subaru was walking around in Pristella with Beatrice holding his hand, Emilia, Otto and Garfiel we're walking with him downtown in Pristella also, enjoying and buying their time peacefully in the City thats in a Lake.

"Man!, taking a nice walk is always at the list!"

Subaru spoke breaking the silence of the group, and Emilia chuckled also spoke.

"Yes, i agree, taking a walk is at someone's list!"

Beatrice also spoke with a glint of smile in her face.

"I suppose it's in everyone's to-do list."

Otto and Garfiel just nodded in agreement – walking in Pristella in a peaceful day and a beautiful view, when suddenly a man in a Salesman outfit, which is unrecognizable for the Re: Zero world, came with a smile, he was Utterly Handsome.

They stopped on their tracks when he came, he just gave each one of them a Mail, and bowed respectfully the walked away, Subaru was baffled by this and spoke.

"You think should we open this..?"

Beatrice spoke while glancing at the Mail that the Salesman gave them.

"I suppose it's safe, I don't feel any mana coming up or a bomb.."

Otto's eyebrows widen

"Are you sure we should..?"

Garfiel smirked and just opend the mail while talking.

"Come on!, it won't hurt wont'cha?"

All of them opened the mail and it had a Circle-Triangle-Square on it, all of them we're confused on why did the Salesman gave them a mere Card, Subaru turned the mail backwards and there was something written there – 'Meet a pink guard near the entrance of Pristella, if you see the pink guard, show the Card, then enter.'

There was a other one written on the back of the card also – 'Play a simple game, and you'll be a rich after, never flat broke anymore.'

Subaru reminded this one of something.. back when he was still on the Capital.

"Sorry!, but I'm broke beyond compare!"

`Ah.. right that..` he spoke in his thoughts, Emilia spoke interrupting and grabbing their attention.

"Well.. if this is a game.. and we just have to play it then we get money.. why can't we do it?.. it's not harmless.."

Otto and Garfiel thinked deeply, for Subaru he also wanted to get money, not because hes greedy or anything he just doesn't wanna be a broke beyond compare again, as for Beatrice, she spoke with her casual loli attitude.

"I guess if it's harmless i suppose?.."

Otto spoke also, judging by it, it's not actually harmless, infact they thought of it as a normal game, nothing deadly.

"I hope so--"

Garfiel smacked Otto's back and smirked.

"Come'on!, it's just'za game!"

Otto chuckled softly when he smacked his back, Subaru nodded and sighed.

"I guess it's down to this?.."

They all nodded and walked off with the card on their hands tightly, meanwhile on the others..

"Anastasia-sama.. should we participate in this game?.."

Julius asked her, is she was going to refuse in the game that the Salesman gave them – or not, she thinked at first, then made her final decision.

"Hmm.. if it's a game, why don't we have fun?.."

Julius bowed with respect, and spoke with a smile in his face.

"I suppose that is a yes, as you wish."

Meanwhile..

"Gosh Reinhart!!, let's have some fun and get rich already!!.."

Felt, sitting on a table, crossed her legs and spoke with a arrogant attitude, Reinhart, on his knees bowing to Felt like a princess.

"If I can't refuse then i'll accept.."

She smiled slightly when he accepted and stopped crossing her legs and stands up kicking the table and pointing her hand at the direction of the entrance.

"Alright!, let's get rich!"

Meanwhile..

"Wait.. wait.. are you sure you're going to participate he--"

Priscilla slapped Al with her Fan, and smirked with a mad glare towards him.

"Of course we would, it's just a game, plus, we can already be rich instantly by just playing."

Al scratched his back and bowed many times while speaking.

"As.. you wish.."

She looked away with a loud smirk, with her Fan placed on her mouth, covering it.

"Hmph."

Meanwhile..

"Crusch-sama, should we participate?.."

Fellis looked at Crusch, sitting, and waiting her answer to the game.

"Sure.. it's not harmless anyways."

Fellis nodded and stood up, looked towards Wilhelm, and he also nodded in agreement, Crusch stands up ready, and they walked away.

All of the 456 players have been decided, and is either on different locations, choosen by the Salesman, and they just needed to wait for 2 days until it arrives, will they escape alive?.. or die in a brutal death Infront of their friend's eyes?..

Subaru was casually chilling on the chair in a peaceful room with Beatrice sitting on his lap – shes been there for the entire time, and Subaru thinked of something..

`Will Roswaal be there?.. if he is.. then we would have Ram.. i guess Rem isn't participating because shes still in a coma..`

Emilia came in with a cute smile in her face, Subaru's attention came to Emilia and so did Beatrice, her hands in her back and spoke with a serene voice, secretly anxious.

"I'm.. still anxious and curious about the game.. thingy.."

Subaru laughed a bit and smiled, calming her down as usual.

"Come on Emilia!, it's just a normal game!, it won't kill us or anything, they'll just kick us out if we lose!"

Beatrice agreed to his statement, and Emilia believed in him and she calmed down, her feeling secretly anxious is slowly fading away.

"Thanks.. Subaru."

Subaru gave her a thumbs up.

"Don't worry Emilia!, i'll keep you Safe and win the Game!"

Emilia nodded, waving her hand towards Subaru before walking away, after, Beatrice spoke to him.

"I suppose we cannot change our minds?.."

Subaru looked at her and wondered on why did she suddenly spoke that.

"I mean, it's.. just a casual game and besides, Garfiel already said it won't hurt!"

"I suppose so."

1 Day before the game starts, the Reason why the Archbishop didn't suddenly launch an Unexpected attack of Pristella like normally in the story they would, but they probably got invited in the Squid games also, and possibly getting tricked or fooled by having all of their enemies there.

They started to prepare for the game and first did their casual duties and cleaning, relaxing with the sun and bathing, Subaru was just sitting outside the door, when Otto suddenly came and also join in the peace.

"May i?.."

Otto asked Subaru, but he just pats his side and nods while speaking nicely.

"Yeah sit."

"Thanks."

Otto sat next to Subaru, enjoying the Peace together while they wait for one day before the Game, they're curious and nervous of what will happen and what games will they play, but they already know those will be figured out when they actually play it, Otto nervously asked.

"So.. about the card and the game.."

Subaru looked at him and he also looked at him, he spoke with determination to beat the games and win the money.

"Yeah i know, we can win!, it's easy!"

Otto chuckled and Subaru patted his shoulder while smiling, he smiled, just agreeing to Subaru that it's just a normal game for them to win and get the prize.

"Oh yeah.. right, we can win!"

They eventually laughed together with Happiness that they can win the game – but everything will eventually take an unexpected turned when they get there, who knows?, will they die or not?, RBD still clings onto Subaru.

Subaru met Reinhart and waved at him speaking genuinely.

"Hey Reinhart!, did you also get the Card?"

Reinhart nodded with a smile.

"Yes, i also got the card, Miss Felt wanted to participate in the game, so i did accept it for her."

Subaru sighed, and it was helpless for him.

"You're the Sword Saint, and you still participate?, but I don't mind, you're just following Felt, that's all."

Reinhart again nodded that it's true.

"Yes, it's for her, as long as she stays safe and doesn't get in trouble, I'm here."

Subaru smiled of his Bravery and Duty to protect Felt and be in her side in the Royal selection.

"Alright dude, wish you goodluck!"

They departed ways while waving at each other politely, and he suddenly bumped into Julius, but he just scoffed and walked pass through him, he wanted to meet Emilia wondering on how is she doing today, he searches for Emilia for quite some time, until he finds her just talking with the Others, Subaru interrupted.

"Ah there you are Emilia-tan!.."

She looked up at him and spoke with a lighten up voice.

"Subaru?"

Subaru winks at her and points his thumb at himself, whilst his other hand in his waist, he spoke loudly.

"That's right!, i – Natsuki Subaru!, will make you win the Game tomorrow!"
