In the cultivation of essence spirit and qi. One can see essence nurtures qi, qi supports spirit. Spirit refines essence. Body being ethereal has significant connections to underperforming of the essence of cultivation and giving more thoughts into refining spirit and qi.
In his case, the spiritual body remained as it is. He felt he needed some upgrade in his physique for refining qi. It's too good, but doesn't have the overachieving ability of supreme bones, nor abilities of dual pupils.

He took both of them. The rules of formation of supreme bones need perfected dao laws to slowly form runic formations over bone. But 15th layer formation law is enough to create runes that could allow gradual metamorphosis of bones, as his understanding improved or assimilate dao by themselves. Similarily is the case with dual pupils. The runes would allow a bloodline to condense the ability of both of them. Seemingly natural integration of both of them.
Taking inspiration from the notes he left behind in previous life and his ability to manipulate deeper layers of runes, he started his work. He started with his blood, which reached purple gold colour and he knows that there is no ancestral divine ability inscribed into those.
He turned into law body fully. The immortal runes began to appear guided by his spirit onto the bloodline starting from bone marrow. It penetrated bones. He used immortal energy to condense them. The runes penetrated entire bones in the body. He started the transformation to biological body. The gates of life, gate of death allowed rapid adaptation to these runes and within 5 days, supreme bone primitive stage runes inscribed bones easily condensed.
As the time changed, it gradually went from 15th layer to more and more deeper layers of law of creation, formation, purity, strength and lineage converged and over 5 years supreme bones fully formed. Unlike due to heavenly suppression, which will restrict dao growth in bones to just one bone, now why stop at a single bone when you have a heavenly dao under your control. He completed entire bones into supreme bones.
His physical strength augmented by higher layers of law rules increased wildly in even the biological body. He went back to law nature and started the process for dual pupils. The bloodline runes non intersecting and complementary with supreme bones formed. It exerted into eyes.
Gradually he accumulated laws of illusion, laws of time and space, laws of mind and spirit, laws of fate and causality which began to inscribed into his eyes. A second pupils condensed out of ability formed in his eyes. He began transformation back to biological body. And it was seemless. This took 10 years in total.
So a wonderful body with double pupils and supreme bones all over got condensed in a physique of holy body of innate Tao Origin and having undergone spiritual body transition in body refinement formed. This is too against heaven. And if one tried to condense them in regular world, I would be blasted to death by heavenly dao.
Moreover the very few people reached divine realm can do this but they simply doesnt bother to. They don't have any needs for such accessories. But they will increase my combat ability at the current stage.
And others who doesn't do any of this or have a chance of heaven defying nature, have their limits at immortal emperor.
"Because I can do this by my comprehension now, which also means others can also if they take a bit more years, higher cultivation and use something to cover heavenly secrets. So many years have passed, someone must have done it."

As a void tribulation realm cultivator he reappeared on the surface of Astralyth and felt the rejection of plane. He suppressed the realm with higher law rules than the plane itself controlled the trigger of ascension for a while and called both of his companions.
" Yue, I am going to ascend. This plane can't keep me here. And Sylvia you have two choices stay here or come with me... The new plane is in a higher dimension not in this universe. Which means you won't be able to comeback, atleast for a long long years."
" Master, I will be with you." She said.
' good, I hard to resort to some other means if not.' I thought.
Both of them entered the small world under my urging. Removing our traces of activities, I disappeared and travelled to the outer domain of the star system.
As Han Chen reappeared back to the battlefield of races. The fight here still continues but just as it happens suddenly everything went still, even the breathing of the people involved. They felt tremendous amount of pressure, so much so that it almost materialized.
Even the beast emperors hiding in the void places, felt insignificant infront of this aura. It was incomparably powerful than what they felt years before. Yet scaring them again, a gigantic fluctuations of energy appeared in space. Every one thought that the newcomer is about to take action and world is going to end. Some enemies even held each other together in arms as support.
A wide span ascension tunnel appeared in the void. Covering over million miles. And Han Chen entered it and soon he disappeared. The shortlived silence stopped replaced by screaming and fright and warriors being unconscious. The battlefield again started ceasefire , and powerful ones from each sides went to inspect and found nothing but law fluctuations, but it placed unresolvable fear towards the unknown.
This time when the ascension happened he could feel the space layers deep in the Ascension tunnel leading to a new dimension. Usually there are more number of planes just before immortal realm, similarily like some people who can't breakthrough a major realm due to some bottleneck and coming infinitely close to the next realm.

He reappeared on a planet. A planet the size of galactic system in previous plane. It also means his divine sense simply can't cover the planet itself.Moreover it appeared to be a reduced by half due to law suppression.
Heavenly dao swiftly triggered as phantoms of many holy beasts and luck blessings appeared on him. It could sense the overly gifted physique resonating with grand dao.

However, the Iron Ascendance Sect pursued me relentlessly, seeking to either force me into marriage or a master-disciple relationship to gain access. Han Chen's expression remained impassive. "Is that so?"
Before she could react, his hand shot forward, resting just above her navel. Law chains of unimaginable complexity surged into her body, binding her cultivation. She tried to force it out for the few moments before loosing control.But her tribulation realm strength collapsed, and a mark etched with the character "Han" appeared on her forehead.
Her eyes widened in fury and disbelief. "What have you done to me? Release me, or I'll invoke the revocation of my consent for entry!"
His voice was calm. "
She winced, clutching her head as his words echoed through her soul. "What... What did you do to me?"
Han Chen gave her a wry smile. "Thanks for the warning earlier. Shame on you—at twenty-seven thousand years of age, you should know that bargaining was your only path to victory. Now, with our master-slave relationship sealed, we share sufficient karmic ties. You'll accompany me."
"You... You're despicable You evil son of..." Her voice trembled with anger but stopped at my command. "
Her body shuddered under the command, and she collapsed to her knees, glaring at him with a mixture of hatred and fear.
Han Chen grinned, unbothered. "Now, shall we prepare for the journey? I needed some subordinates who are powerful enough. Fate gifted me one very easily."
