( Yuuki's POV )

I placed the communicator near Ada, and after a few seconds, we had a response.

???: [ Ada, report ]

Ada: Wesker, I have the amber but Luis didn't make it.

Wesker: [ ... That works better for us. ]

Ada: That's cold, where should I deliver the amber?

Exactly as Ada said, the guy on the other end of the line sounded cold and disinterested in Luis's condition, which was to be expected.

Wesker: [ There's been a change of plans, there's someone you need to extract from the village. ]

Ada: That's going to cost you extra.

Wesker: [*huff* Ask for whatever you want, but you can't fail. ]

Ada: What is the goal?

Wesker: [ a Japanese boy, long silver hair, eyes of different colors, you can't mistake him. ]

While the guy on the other end of the communicator was giving my exact description, Ada stared at me and I just gave her an innocent smile.

Ada: A child? Are you serious

Wesker: [Don't be confused by its appearance, that thing isn't even human, exercise caution, and when you catch it, take it to the island near the castle.]

Ada: Understood, I'll get on it right away.

When Wesker marked me as his new target I hung up, thought about my strategy for a moment, and quickly came to the conclusion that it didn't change anything.

Yuuki: That's rude, I'm part human.

Ashley: What was that?

Yuuki: Ignore that, let's move, I don't want to be late for my appointment.

Ashley: You're going without a plan.

Yuuki: The plan is to lure them to me and finish them all together, it'll be quite a show, wait for the fireworks when you're flying away from here.

Ashley and I were the main targets of the enemy so we split into two groups, Ashley, Leon, Luis and Mythra assaulted the island on the ground, the infected on this island were better equipped than the cultists we've faced so far but that was okay, because Ada, Pheliss, Erica, Shera and I took the high ground, I'm no longer trying to hide so I summon two coffin guns and I rain down bullets and small but powerful missiles on the enemy, turning them into nothing more than loot ready for the taking.

I had no way to replenish my special ammunition so when I ate a third of it, I had to stop my assault, We continued our advance without many problems, and at one point we had to take different paths to take our different objectives, Mythra's group went after Saddler while we headed to the drop point that the cold guy, Wesker, had set up, as we approached the spot, I pretended to be unconscious and let Ada carry me on her shoulders, Pheliss, Shera, and Erica were hiding near us, Pheliss had her spear ready and she was aiming it at the back of Ada's head, because according to Pheliss she couldn't be trusted, I didn't share her doubt but I didn't stop her either.

Upon arriving at the meeting point, we did not have to wait long for a blond-haired man wearing sunglasses at night to appear, according to the description that Ada had given us, that man was Albert Wesker.

Ada: I have what you asked for.

Wesker: ...you took your time.

Ada: You didn't lie, he was dangerous, what are you going to do with the body?

Wesker: Me, nothing, but there is someone very interested in him.

I could feel tension in the air and had a feeling that things were going to go south soon but it was not time to act yet.

Ada: And who is this mysterious person?

Wesker: Someone you don't want to cross, I thought you were smarter than this.

After Wesker spoke I felt danger and I used my tails to pull us back, and in the place where she was standing there appeared a deep cut, We were attacked by some kind of invisible blade, and after we dodged the invisible attack Pheliss threw her spear at high speed in Wesker's direction but it flew past him, Pheliss pointed at the world traveler where she could feel his presence but when I heard the impact of the spear I could no longer feel his power signal, If he was dead I could still feel his power which means he made a hasty retreat.

Anyway, he couldn't have gone far, and now I had to concentrate on the guy with sunglasses in front of me, I jumped off Ada's shoulder and ran towards Wesker but halfway there he made his move, he moved much faster than Krauser's limit without showing any mutations and that threw me off somewhat, he sent a powerful palm strike straight to my chest, and that attack packed a real punch, several of my ribs were broken and my accelerated regeneration had to kick in.

Ada quickly pulled out her gun and started shooting but Wesker could dodge the bullets with quick short movements, when she had to reload Wesker moved at high speed to attack Ada in the same way as me, but I used [ Accel ] to kick his arm and Pheliss also jumped into the ring and thrust her spear at Wesker's head but he was able to avoid being hit.
