Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Old me
At 28, I was quite satisfied with the life I was leading. I had graduated with a degree in computer engineering four years earlier, and since then, I had been working at a mid-sized company that, although not my life's dream, allowed me to live comfortably. I enjoyed the stability, the technical challenges, and the tranquility that came with my work routine. Sometimes, the pace of work became monotonous, but I preferred it that way. One moment of tension, and the robber, without a second thought, fired.
It all happened in the blink of an eye. The pain, the deafening sound of the shot, the weight of my body falling to the ground. And then, nothing.
But right at that instant, as my life faded away, something inexplicable occurred. In a split second, a possibility so remote it bordered on the impossible became a reality. A quantum error, a glitch in the rules of the universe, and my soul was torn from its dimension, crossing the barriers of the known and the unknown, until...
