Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Time keeps passing

Time kept passing, and all I had were my memories and thoughts. With each passing day, I began to notice something strange, something I hadn't felt before. In my mind, I started to perceive what felt like lumps, little knots. Were they genetic glitches? A disease? I didn't know. For now, I decided not to think too much about it. After all, there was something else that worried me: my thoughts. They were getting faster and faster, sharper. At first, it was a slight sense of clarity, but soon it reached the point where I could perform complex algebraic operations by heart, something I had previously found extremely difficult. Now, I did it with ease.

With this new ability, my introspection deepened. I set myself the task of re-learning everything I had known, counting and ordering my knowledge so that I could use it in the future. Every little piece of information, every lesson I had learned, was arranged in my mind in a logical and structured way. This would help me acquire new knowledge more quickly and make logical assumptions, both from the old and new information I encountered in this unfamiliar place.

But it wasn't just my intellect that was changing. I also began to notice alterations in my personality. When I reviewed my memories, I felt some kind of emotion, but not with the intensity I expected. Something didn't fit. There was a distance, a disconnect between what I used to feel and what I felt now. Maybe it was a genetic disease, a consequence of using the technology that had brought me back to life. **Was this what made me different?** Perhaps I wasn't the same person I had been before.

The questions kept piling up, but the answers were still few. All that was left was to wait and discover what would happen next.
