Rise of Super Beast

Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Dinesh

As Divya's group walked through the college hall, they continued discussing their plans.

"Sneha, have you thought about that?"

"I haven't given it much thought," she replied, turning her head. "But that was fun, and I want to, but I'll be busy."

"Oh."

"Monika, what about you?"

"I'm always re..."

"Divya!" Sneha shouted and pulled Divya, but she was almost a step behind.

As the cup of coffee was about to spill on her face, Sam appeared in front of her.

Splash

Drip

Drip

Droplets of hot coffee fell to the ground, and pin-drop silence followed.

Wiping the hot coffee off his face, Sam's eyes snapped.

....

The boy with curly hair and a chiseled face, as if he were ready to start in a movie, had a high chance of being selected as an actor based on his looks.

His lips curled into a smile. "Sorry, my hands slipp..."

Thud!

The sound of knees hitting the ground resonated, and his face turned pale.

The boy felt as though his body bore a weight of 80 to 100 kilograms, and his eyes locked on Sam as if Sam were ready to engulf him whole.

"Sam! Stop!"

Regaining his composure, Sam's stare returned to normal.

"Sorry, miss. I lost my composure," he said calmly, brushing away the hand shaking his shoulder.

"It's fine."

"But he purposely did that," Sam added, his stare falling back on the boy.

The boy, still supporting himself with his hands on the ground, panting, stared back.

"Do you realize what you've done?"

Glancing at Divya, the boy's poisonous smile spread. "Your bodyguard seems quite willing to suffer..."

Thud!

A loud crash sounded, and in the next moment:

Drip.

"AhhAHHH!" A shrill voice echoed.

The boy clutched his head.

"Blood! Blo... I'm bleeding."

Staring intently into the boy's eyes, Sam whispered, "Worried about your head? Do you believe I'll snap your neck?"

The boy's eyes widened. "Do you dare?"

"Ahaa."

"You... You broke my hand!"

Thud!

Thud!

The sound of footsteps resonated through the entire hall.

Divya's face lit up as she found her last hope.

Approaching the figure, she pleaded, "Ma'am?"

Divya's class teacher glanced at her, then her gaze fell on Sam and the boy.

The boy was slumped against the wall, blood dripping from his head.

"Keep it down," Ma'am shouted.

Taking a deep breath, Sam gave one last chilling stare at the boy. "You won't be here to repeat this next time." He let go of his grip on the boy's neck.

Unsupported, the boy collapsed to the ground.

Cough Cough

"All involved, come to my office," Ma'am ordered, turning her back. Divya, Sam, and the boy followed her silently.

The silence in the hall was soon engulfed by noisy and messy whispers.

"Will Divya be alright?"

"Nothing will happen to her. What about Sam?"

"Don't you know who he is?"

Divya's group facepalmed. "How dumb of us."

"What do you think of Sam?"

Everyone gave Monika a blank stare.

Her face turned red. "You misunderstood. I mean his power. How quickly he smashed Dinesh into the wall!"

"My eyes didn't even catch how fast he moved."

"That's what makes him who he is."

Everyone nodded.

....

Thud!

Angrily, Ma'am slapped her palm on the table.

"Do you realize what you've done?"

"Ma'am, he was the one to sta—"

"You shut your mouth and let the nurse bandage your head or I'll break another hand."

The boy quickly lowered his head.

"Divya?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Explain everything from the beginning."

Without leaving anything out, Divya narrated how she was conversing with her group, the coffee incident, the threats, and how everything escalated to the final scene.

Tap

Tap

Ma'am's fingers tapped rhythmically on the table as she gave a sharp gaze.

"What do you think, Dinesh? Does the fault lie entirely with you or also with Divya?"

Lowering his head, Dinesh reflected on the scenario, his earlier hot-headedness now replaced with clarity.

His mind repeated, what did I do? Everything should've been under my control. The bodyguard should've feared me and my family, but he interfered and overreacted, leading to this situation.

Raising his head, he retorted, "Ma'am, I'm sorry for my impudence, but didn't he overreact and harm me?" He sharply pointed at Sam.

"Sister. Please unbandage him," Ma'am requested.

The nurse nodded and quickly removed the bandage, exposing the wound further.

After a long look, Ma'am rose from her seat. "Go pack your bag. You are suspended and need to come back with your parents to meet me, or your entire career as a Beast Tamer will end here."

Patting Divya's shoulder, Ma'am smiled. "Wrong is wrong, but character is of utmost importance, which we at this university never compromise on."

Looking at Sam, she added, "Though your bodyguard's actions were extreme, given his habitual behavior, I understand."

Calmly, she exited the office with the nurse, leaving a faint piece of advice.

"You're lucky, Divya, but you'd better manage him, so he doesn't take everything to the extreme."

A blooming smile appeared on Divya's face.

She shouted, "Yes, Ma'am!"

"Why are you smiling? Follow me." Divya ordered, and Sam followed her.

Now, only Dinesh remained in the office.

Clutching his head, his body shuddered, and he rubbed his sore buttocks with a trembling hand.

"No, my father will kill me if he finds out," he muttered as he remembered something worse.
