Rising of a New Reaper

The kid was horrified at what he saw. He immediately went towards the man. He saw blood coming out the wound he had. The kid started to cry. He kept reassuring himself that he would live. But fate had something else for the man.

"I want you to live on for me. Remember to not be an idiot." Said the man before he died.

"Wait! Please! PLEASE! Don't die yet! DAD!"

" DAD!" Yelled Strat as he woke up.

Strat was sweaty and breathing heavily. He wiped off the sweat he had. He stood up from the bed and went to take a shower. Once he was finished he went to check on David but to his surprise he was already out of his crib and walking.

"What the fuck..." Said Strat.

Strat grabbed David. He took a good look at David before remembering that the both of them need to eat. He carried David to the breakfast lobby. He asked for a booster chair for David. He then found a table for the both of them in the corner. Strat then went to get some food. He got 2 waffles and a muffin for himself. He got apple sauce and chicken gravy flavored Gerber's for David.

He noticed he got nothing to drink so he went to get some orange juice. He sat down and started to eat. Afterwards he tried to feed David but he kept refusing to eat it.

"Come on you got to eat it. You need to grow big and strong." Said Strat.

Though that didn't help it one but he tried at least. After a few minutes he eventually was able to feed David the food. After an hour passed Strat wiped off any leftover food off David's face. He then threw away his trash and gave back the seat before returning to his room.

As he entered his room he noticed that the robot cleaned up the room. Strat then gave David to the robot. He then gave a few commands to the before starting his day. He left the hotel and drove to the hospital. Once he was parked, he immediately entered the hospital.

He went towards the front desk.

"Sir, what can I help you today?" Asked medical receptionist lady.

" I just want a check up." He responded.

"Alright, you can go to room umm...504 on the fifth floor." Said the woman.

Strat thanked her and went towards the elevator. He then pushed the button to go to the fifth floor. It took a bit of time but Strat luckily had his mp3 player. He put in his earbuds and started to play Fly away by TeddyLoid. It reminded about the many one night stands, freedom, and how he was used in the city back in his past.

Strat started noticed that Caster City itself was high tech for it's time. The amount of technology implemented into the city was tremendous. Before long the elevator door opened and he stepped out. He went to the room the lady said to go. As he walked he noticed that many nurses kept looking his way. Strat ignored the games and went to the room.

He waited for the doctor to come. He listened to his songs before the doctor came. Once the doctor came he took out his earbuds. He did what the doctor said before getting the results from him.

"Well, the results came in. Your really healthy for someone that has many cybernetics. But I recommend that you should dial down on the cybernetics since we don't know what could happen to you."

Strat only nodded. He ignored the part about the cybernetics since he himself knows the risks. Strat left the room and went down to the lobby. He went towards the reception and payed for the bill. He then went to his car and went to McDonald's (not promoting) to get some food.

He went and order some food to go and went into his car to eat. While he was eating he was notified by the system about something.

Strat confused on the options just took the safe option for now. He set aside his food and started up his car to drive away from here. He drove back to the hotel. Once he was parked he went to his room in the hotel to try to prepare for an attack from the system user. When he entered his room he saw David asleep in his crib and the Robot watching TV to take in more information about this world.

He brought out Excalibur and Caliburn out. He did maintenance on them before putting them back. He planned to use them as a trump card since they use a lot of his power. He afterwards took a shower and went to sleep.
