Rita's Unseen Destiny.

Chapter 59: A Shocking Revelation.

As they pulled away from each other, gasping for air, Carlson smiled and said, "We are supposed to have lunch together, remember?"

Laura's face lit up with a radiant smile, and she nodded eagerly, "I would love to," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Together they walked hand in hand to the hotel restaurant, their hearts filled with joy and anticipation. As they sat down at a cozy table, Carlson knew that his life was about to change in ways he never thought possible.

The lunch was a blur of laughter and conversation, as they both tried to process the emotions that were swirling inside them. Carlson couldn't take his eyes off Laura, and he found himself falling more and more in love with her with every passing minute.

As they finished their meals and prepared to part ways. Carlson knew he couldn't let Laura go. He had to find a way to make things work between them, no matter what the cost.

As they walked out of the restaurant, Carlson turned to Laura and said, "I don't want this day to end. Can I take you out somewhere?" Maybe we can grab some coffee or go for a walk?

Laura's face lit up with a smile. "I would love to," She said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Carlson grinned, feeling a sense of joy and freedom that he hadn't felt in a long time. He took Laura's hand, and they walked out of the hotel, into the bright sunlight. Laura, too, was feeling a sense of happiness and contentment. She had been in love with Carlson for so long, and now it seemed like he might finally feel the same way.

As they walked, they talked and laughed, sharing stories and secrets. The connection between them grew stronger with every passing minute, and they both knew that their lives would never be the same again.

The next day, Carlson planned a special surprise for Laura. He woke her up early, and they had a quick breakfast before setting out on their adventure.

I want to take you somewhere special today," Carlson said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Laura's curiosity was piqued, and she couldn't wait to find out where they were going.

As they drove along the winding roads, the scenery outside changed from bustling city streets to markets, shops, restaurants and Laura caught a glimpse of the Nile river sparkling in the distance.

Finally, they arrived at the Owen falls dam, and Laura gasped in wonder. The dam was a breathtaking sight with crystal clear water cascading down the rocky faces.

Carlson and Laura spent hours exploring the area, taking in the stunning views and learning about the history of the dam. They walked hand in hand along the dam's edge, feeling the cool mist on their faces and listening to the roar of the water.

As they stood there, taking in the beauty of the dam, Carlson felt a sense of joy and contentment wash over him. He knew that this was a moment he would never forget, and he was grateful to have Laura by his side.

As the day wore on, they had a picnic lunch on the grassy banks of the dam, watching the water flow by and chatting about everything and nothing.

But as the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the landscape, Carlson knew it was time to head back. They had to return to the city the next day, and he wanted to make the most of their last evening together.

Rita woke up feeling excited and refreshed, looking forward to a new day. She stretched her arms and yawned, then swung her legs over the side of the bed. As she planted her feet firmly on the ground, she heard a knock at the doorway.

She got up to answer the door, expecting it to be one of her family members or maybe a neighbor. But to her surprise. It was the delivery person who brought their newspaper every morning.

"Goodmorning, Rita," the delivery person said with a smile, handing her the newspaper. " Here is your morning paper."

Right took the newspaper, thanked the delivery person, and closed the door. As she walked to the kitchen, she unfolded the newspaper to scan the headlines. But what she saw made her heart skip a beat.

On the front page, there was a photo of Carlson and laura standing together, smiling and looking happy. The headlines read: "CEO of Sha industries visits Owen falls dam, with lover Laura. "

Rita's eyes widened in shock as she stared at the photo. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. Carlson, the man she had been thinking about nonstop the whole night, was apparently in a relationship with someone else.

Rita felt like she had been punched in the gut. She couldn't breathe, and her mind was racing with questions. Who was Laura? How long has Carlson been seeing her? And why didn't he mention her before?

Rita's eyes scanned the article, searching for answers, but as she read on, she realized that the article didn't reveal much about Laura or her relationship with Carlson.

It was just a brief report about Carlson's visit to the Owen falls dam with his lover."

Rita felt a pang of jealousy and hurt. She had thought that she had a connection with Carlson, but now it seemed like he was already taken. She didn't know what to think or feel, and she couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment and betrayal.

Naome, Rita's mom, walked into the living room to find Rita sitting on the couch, tears streaming down her face. She immediately felt a surge of concern and rushed over to her daughter.

"Rita, what's wrong"?" Naome asked, sitting down beside her and putting a comforting arm around her shoulders.

Rita sniffled and wiped her tears with a tissue, trying to compose herself. But the tears kept flowing, and she couldn't seem to stop them.

It's, it's, Carlson Rita stammered, her voice shaking with emotions.

Naome's expression changed from concern to surprise. "Carlson, what about him? She asked gently.
