Chapter 30: Not A Normal Dungeon Part 5
Oscar walked, as the fog still srounded him as he has his [Detect] ability in full power and [Stealth Skill] on as well, he looked at the water for any Singh of life the water moved but there was noting there as then he felt a chill down his spine as the hair in the back of his neck stand up, as he jumped out of the way.
He was in the bridge of Vale that connects it and Beacon Academy he then saw something land, as he saw it was a huge, malnourished monster with twisted horns, matted fur, and a skeletal appearance. It emits shrieks that sound like cries of agony.

Oscar just looked at the monster, as the he saw something that made him think the fuck, as it was health bar for a boss fight, as then saw his system
[Boss Located
Name: Cleric Beast
Danger level: S
Level: 50
Description: The Cleric Beast is a huge creature with hideous, twisted horns, matted fur and a malnourished figure, and emits shrieks that sound like cries of agony. Although at first glance the Cleric Beast appears to have an emaciated and almost skeletal body, this monster has high agility, supernatural strength and a sizable amount of health ]
The cleric beast looked at Oscar as he spoked in his mind. "So we meet at last human"
The moment the Cleric Beast's voice echoed in Oscar's mind, he could feel the weight of the creature's presence, like a shadow falling over the bridge. The air around them thickened, the fog swirling, intensifying the dread in Oscar's chest. Oscar tightened his grip on Midnight Fang and Crimson Trigger, both weapons now glowing faintly in the gloom of the Vale.
"Are you the one who's been causing all this?" Oscar growled, narrowing his eyes as the beast's form loomed larger in front of him.
The beast let out another horrific shriek, shaking the very air, and it seemed to leer at Oscar with its twisted, bloodshot eyes. "I have been waiting for you. You are the human who dares to tread into my domain. You are weak, but you will make an entertaining meal."
Oscar's eyes flashed with determination. He activated his [Stealth Skill] one more time, disappearing from sight, but he knew the beast's senses were sharp. He had to think fast, act fast.
The Cleric Beast let out a low growl, scanning the fog, its ears twitching as if to detect any sign of movement. Oscar remained silent, crouched low, but his mind raced. His system had just warned him of the beast's immense strength and agility, but the most unsettling part was its high health. This was no ordinary fight.
Ding!
[Warning: The Cleric Beast has the ability to detect movements, even while invisible. It is advised to use ranged attacks and strategies.]
Oscar frowned, his eyes darting around as he formulated a plan. He quickly switched to his ranged abilities.
"Fine. I'll play your game," he muttered under his breath, drawing on his [Black Fire] ability. His body burned with anger as he conjured the dark flames in his hand, the air crackling as they formed into a swirling sphere of black fire.
He aimed it at the beast, unleashing the inferno towards it. The ball of black fire rocketed forward, the air around it distorting with the intense heat and darkness.
The Cleric Beast shrieked again, its body contorting as it dodged the flames, moving with unnatural speed for its massive form. The fire hit the bridge behind it, exploding in a burst of energy, leaving a charred crater in its wake.
Oscar's eyes widened in surprise. "Not bad for a first attempt, but you won't dodge everything."
He quickly adjusted his stance, his tail whipping back and forth, his instincts sharpening as he activated [Fire Ball] and [Earth Spikes]. He cast the fireball directly at the creature's feet to force it into the air, and then spiked the ground around it, creating pillars of stone to trap it.
The beast let out a deafening roar, thrashing as it tore through the stone pillars, shaking off the restraints with terrifying strength. It rushed at Oscar, swinging its massive claws in an arc, aiming to cleave him in half.
Oscar jumped back, his [Agility Skill] kicking in as he nimbly dodged, but the speed of the Cleric Beast was astonishing. It swung again, and this time, Oscar wasn't fast enough. One of its claws grazed his shoulder, sending a searing pain through his body.
Ding!
[Host has taken damage! Health decreased by 20%!]
Oscar gritted his teeth, his mind racing. He couldn't afford to let up. He quickly summoned another [Fire Ball], this time aiming it directly at the beast's head. The explosion rocked the air, but the Cleric Beast was not deterred. It stumbled back but charged forward again, its bellow filling the air as it prepared for another strike.
"I'll end this," Oscar muttered, clenching his fists. He tapped into his [Grimm Human Hybrid Transformation], feeling the power surge through him once again. His body darkened, his wings stretching outward, and the claws on his hands and feet grew sharper, his entire form becoming more monstrous in appearance.
With a roar of his own, Oscar took to the air, flying at the Cleric Beast with a ferocity that mirrored its own. He swung Midnight Fang, the blade cutting through the fog like a scythe, slashing across the beast's chest.
The creature staggered, blood dripping from its wound, but it wasn't finished. It retaliated, swinging its massive, twisted horns at Oscar with deadly force.
Oscar gritted his teeth, his mind filled with rage. He unleashed [Fire Ball] after [Fire Ball], bombarding the beast from above, but it kept pressing forward, its massive form hard to stop.
"You are strong, human. But not strong enough," the Cleric Beast said, its voice cold and ominous, reverberating in Oscar's mind.
Oscar's eyes narrowed, his breathing heavy. "We'll see about that."
He shot forward, using [Earth Pull] to yank the beast off its feet and slam it into the bridge, the sound of cracking stone filling the air. Oscar didn't give it a moment to recover. He followed up with a series of [Fire Balls], each one blasting into the creature's body, each explosion a testament to Oscar's growing power.
Ding!
[Skill level up: Fire Ball - Level 8]
But the Cleric Beast wasn't done. With a mighty roar, it surged forward once more, its clawed hands slashing at Oscar in a wild frenzy. Oscar barely dodged the first strike, but the second one caught him off guard. The sharp claws raked across his chest, and for a moment, everything went black.
Ding!
[Host's health decreased by 30%! Critical condition!]
Oscar staggered back, blood dripping from his wounds. He gritted his teeth, fury rising within him. He couldn't let this beast defeat him. Not after everything he had been through.
"I'm not finished yet!" Oscar shouted, his voice filled with defiance.
The Cleric Beast then moved his arm to attack Oscar, as Oscar rolled out of the way and went behind the beast as he attacked the beast on his leg the beast then screams and then the beast turned around grabbed Oscar as he slammee Oscar in the ground as then he through Oscar to a building.
Ding!
[Host has taken 20% Damage cureect Damge 60% of health left]
Osacr gut up and saw the Claric beast rush at him, as Oscar jumped out the window as the Cleric Beast destroyed the building.
Osacr just looked at the beast, as he flyed up as he used his wings, as then uses [Earth Spike] with that of [Water Blast] the Cleric Beast moved out of the way as it jumped up and hit Osacr into the ground as Oscar was sent flying back to the beast.
Oscar was now in a creator in the bridge, but what was weird that he felt less damage then he saw green like light cover his body
Ding!
[Congratulations Host, you have unlocked what they world calls an Aura]
Oscar already knew about Aura or the power of the soul

Ding
[Host has healed 5% thanks to your Aura current health 60%]
Osacr just got up, as he saw the beast. "Of all the way to unlock my Aura this was definitely not even on my list".
The Cleric Beast, roaring in fury, turned to face Oscar once more, its twisted form towering over the crater. It was relentless, the rage in its eyes fueling the beast's every movement. Oscar wiped the blood from his mouth, feeling the heat of the battle in his veins. He had never expected to unlock something like an Aura in the middle of this chaos, but the green light that enveloped him felt like a new power had surged through him, restoring his body in ways he couldn't fully understand.
The beast lunged again, its claws extended, but this time Oscar was ready. He rolled to the side, using his wings to propel himself into the air. The power of his Aura pulsed within him, a steady hum that seemed to make him faster, more agile. As he soared into the sky, he cast [Earth Spike] and [Water Blast] in a combo, aiming to catch the Cleric Beast off guard.
The beast, however, was far too fast. It twisted its body mid-air, dodging the attacks with an unnatural grace and landing with a terrifying crash. Before Oscar could react, the monster charged, leaping into the air and slamming its fists into the ground. The shockwave sent Oscar crashing down, his body slamming into the earth with a sickening thud.
Oscar tried to get up, but the pain was overwhelming. His vision blurred as the ground trembled beneath him. He felt his Aura flicker, but something was different this time. His body was healing on its own, the green light once again enveloping him, slowing the pain and replenishing his energy. He quickly checked his health status.
Ding!
[Host has taken 10% damage! Current health: 50%]
Ding!
[Host has healed 10% thanks to your Aura! Current health: 60%]
Oscar looked at the Cleric Beast, rising up from the crater with an intense, bloodthirsty look in its eyes. It had been relentless, but the strange new power coursing through him was starting to give him the edge. He could feel his body reacting more instinctively now, every movement calculated, every attack precise.
"Alright, let's see how you like this," Oscar muttered under his breath, his Aura flaring to life once more.
He quickly moved behind the beast, using his wings to boost his speed as he rushed forward. His next move was a dangerous one—using [Crimson Tiger] combined with [Black Fire], Oscar channeled the power of both spells into a concentrated blast. The energy spiraled around him as he launched the attack straight at the Cleric Beast's side.
The creature screeched in agony as the attack hit, the black fire searing into its flesh, but the beast wasn't done. It retaliated with a savage swipe of its claws, sending Oscar tumbling backward.
Ding!
[Host has taken 15% damage! Current health: 45%]
Oscar grimaced but didn't hesitate. The damage from the Cleric Beast's claws had been significant, but his Aura was still working to heal him. He needed to keep up the pressure. He spread his wings wide, flying high above the beast, then used [Earth Pull] to summon chunks of rock from the ground, launching them down onto the Cleric Beast.
The beast roared in fury, thrashing about as it tried to dodge the falling debris. It wasn't fast enough, and a boulder slammed into its head. It staggered, giving Oscar the opening he needed.
Oscar then smacked his sword down into trh Cleric beast arm, as then beast screamed as he slammed Oscar into the ground as Oscar room a deef breath as then Oscar cut one of the claws of the best as it screamed as the Beast sent him flying.
Oscar looked at the Cleric beast. "I don't get it if you don't want me here just show me the way to leave, why are you trying to kill me why are your monster trying to kill me".
The Cleric beats looked at him as he spoke in Oscar head. "Don't you get Human, in this world it is Kill or be killed and right I am the one who will kill you, just like how you have killed the monster".
Oscar wiped the blood from his mouth, his grip on Midnight Fang tightening as he stood up from the crater the Cleric Beast had thrown him into. The grotesque monster loomed over him, its severed claw dripping black ichor but still radiating malice.
The Cleric Beast's voice resonated in Oscar's mind, its tone dripping with contempt.
"You speak of leaving, human, but you tread in a world that feeds on despair. Your strength will fail, as all do who wander here."
Oscar clenched his fists, his wings spreading wide as his Aura flared around him in a green glow. He raised Midnight Fang, its edge glowing faintly with the remnants of [Black Fire]. "Kill or be killed, huh? Then let me show you how a survivor fights."
The Cleric Beast roared, its skeletal frame launching forward with terrifying speed. Oscar dodged, rolling to the side as its claw slammed into the ground, shattering the stone bridge. Using the momentum, he leaped forward, slashing at the beast's legs with Midnight Fang.
The beast howled in pain, twisting to swipe at him with its remaining claw. Oscar ducked, narrowly avoiding the blow, and countered with [Earth Spikes]. The ground beneath the beast erupted, jagged rocks piercing through its matted fur and emaciated body.
"You're fast, but not fast enough," Oscar muttered, taking to the air with a flap of his wings.
The Cleric Beast crouched, its twisted muscles rippling before it sprang into the air, reaching for him with its claw. Oscar dodged again, but the beast's impact as it landed sent a shockwave that threw him into a nearby wall.
Ding!
[Host has taken 10% damage. Current health: 50%]
[Host has healed 5% thanks to your Aura. Current health: 55%]
Oscar coughed, shaking off the debris as he glared at the Cleric Beast. His Aura pulsed around him, dulling the pain and restoring some of his strength. "You're tougher than you look," he admitted, gripping his sword tighter.
The beast bared its jagged teeth, ichor dripping from its wounds as it spoke again in his mind. "You think you can survive here, human? You are nothing more than prey in this cursed world."
Oscar smirked, flames flickering along the blade of Midnight Fang as he activated [Black Fire]. "Prey doesn't fight back. Let's finish this."
The Cleric Beast roared, lunging at him once more. Oscar stood his ground, waiting until the last second before sidestepping and driving his blade into the beast's side. The dark flames erupted from the wound, spreading rapidly through its body.
The monster thrashed wildly, its claw swinging toward Oscar. He ducked, using his wings to propel himself backward. "You don't like that, do you?" he taunted, watching as the beast's movements became sluggish.
The Cleric Beast's voice growled in his mind, weaker now. "You... will never understand this world. You will fall, just as all before you have fallen."
Oscar raised Midnight Fang, the flames burning brighter as he prepared to deliver the final blow. "Maybe. But not today."
