Samson: The Undead

"What a magnificent place for a meeting."

"Captain Asib." 

 Taking a step forth as his officer took a step back the Captain pushed his glasses up. "May I ask what you are doing with that SouBei Officer…Sojiro I believe."

 "I won't let you take her." Shouted Sojiro with a leap in front of Nutri.

"I always knew that a day like this would come. Actually it have come to countless of your officers and now fate has reached you."

 "Cawf cawf" Sojiro fell to his knees coughing up blood. "Run." grabbing hold to the center of his chest pawkweek the officer exploded launching blood and guts everywhere.

 "Awww!" Someone shouted before turning tail and fleeing.

Sniffling from a flood of memories and emotions from Sojiro, Nutri wiped blood and bits from her eyes while her body absorbed the rest like a sponge. "What manner of creature are you?"

 "I should ask the same of you. How could you take the breath of one considered a brother."

"It is the fate of all those who betray my magical contracts. Even I can't prevent it once all the conditions have been met. It is Death by sword. It's a qualification upon joining my squad. All members know the stakes." 

 "Regardless, it's heartless."

Heartless…you a Souless Being calling me heartless now that's intriguing. Actually the fact that you attain intelligence is extraordinary. The rest of those vile beasts were purely savages. Tell me SouBei how have you learn the ways of speech. And how did you mesmerize my subordinate to disobey my commands."

 "You intend on taking me captive rather or not that data is expressed." 

 "Correct."

"In that case I shall remain silent."

 "No worries." spoke Sojiro. "I will collect what I need."

Turning her head Nutri rose her hands. "Think about the people."

 "Think I'm a simplelton." Doosh pushing his foot into the earth Captain Asib bolted forth.

Boooshh! Watching the movements of her foe in slow motion as her body shifted Nutri could feel the vibrations of the captain's attack reverberate off her wooden shield. "I can't allow people to get hurt." Thought The Acquire while snatching multiple chunks of earth out of the air using tendrils of vines which sprang from her body. "Don't allow any of the people to get hurt."

 Destroying the SouBei's wooden shield with a punch that held enough force to destroy the ground and cause fragments of earth to erupt like a volcano Captain Asib hopped back as his opponent snatched some of the chunks out of space. "Pointless." Swiping through the air toooosh the projectiles exploded like fireworks.

 Keeping her eyes on her opponent The Acquirer couldn't help but feel the presence of the people all around her for their thoughts and emotions swam through her body with fear. Having flashbacks of her village as a child the smell of smoke began to fill her nostrils and flames danced in her vision. Blinking away tears she said to herself. "I will protect these people." Foosh commanding the surrounding trees to create a wooden wall to block the boomerang blades of wind from her foe's second strike Nutri left herself open.

 Pooom! Watching his adversary propel backwards the Captain's head swayed from side to side, allowing his thousand slashes to overtake the SouBei. "You choose to save the people over yourself." Strolling towards the SouBei he pushed his glasses up. "Does this mean that you can show compassion or is this some kind of ploy. Conniving and seductive were the words. In that case let's test your resolve."

 "Get up!" shouted someone from behind the wooden barriers.

"Do you tend to help this fugitive? For if that is the cause I can take you and all else who meddles with me. Better yet how about this all of you are now fugitives for assisting this SouBei. Pushing his glasses up ding, ding, ding, hundreds of swords and spears materialized in the sky above them. "May all of you meet your fate." Lowering his arm Captain Asib said, "Heavens Fallen."

 Doop, doop, doop, doop "Castor's Chronicles I have a package for Gumo Bashjay." Woosh. Sliding his gaze between two lanterns sparking to life on each side of the wooden door, Tecto took a step back at the blinking on of a light screen.

 "Who are you really?" Asked a snarly voice behind yellow eyes. "Where is Castor?"

"He's back in Tajir. According to him this delivery was late and since I already took the pleasure of helping him traverse home he entrusted me to deliverance of this." Presenting a raggedy bag made of animal skin.

 "So you truly do contain Castor's package." 

Laughing Tecto shook his head. "That depends, what do you see?"

 "A black and white satchel with six yellow stars on the flap." Bloop exiting the screen he came to the door. "How much for your services I'm sure Castor was unaware of the execution of that vile beast which was ravishing the land." 

 "Why would he not when he is the cause of the creature's consumption."

"Consumption?"

 "Yes, my associate assured his devouring."

"Back to the vain nothingness it came from." Accepting his package, "oh" a jolt of thought ran through the mind. "Have you heard? A SouBei was captured in the City of Tajir and it is said she is a true beauty."

 "Really?" Replied Tecto with a tilt of his head. "That's interesting. I would love to know who was able to accomplish that feat." Spinning on his heels the Inkan waved him a farewell. "Well I must take my leave. Peace."

 "Captain Asib, how wonderful it is that you are able to join our meeting." Gesturing for the officer to take a seat at the table, the man beamed at the rest of his guests with a twinkling smile. "Tonights discussion will be on the management of this new being called a SouBei."

 "I say we send her to the abyss."

"Why is that when she lives and breathes like all of us this being has an intellect."

 "Yet feists on the bodies and souls of the living." 

. "So do many animals and beings of the supernatural yet they all contain a soul and thus forth is part of the one which means that they should also be given a chance unless they represent a threat."

 "I say we leave the fate of this beast to the Red Letters; they are more adept at handling these types of situations."

 "And I say we murder all these fiends. Anything with the ability to rip the consciousness of another man should not be allowed."

 "Yet we tower our strengths over the peoples of this nation. How does the words you speak match your actions?"

 "I will show you action, if that's what you ask?"

"Quiet." spoke the commander. "Regardless of our entitlements, taking the life of another whom is conscious of their actions is immoral. I have spoken with this SouBei. She holds aims and goals like that of us yet she just could be swift of the tongue. That is why I asked Captain Asib to attend this meeting." Watching the captain stand in attention the commander told him. "Speak your mind on your acquaintance with this being."

 "This woman is truly remarkable. I fiend to destroy all those around Hadira. To protect the innocent she left herself open so she could concentrate on mending both the trees and bridge together to create a barricade against my attack. It was truly magnificent. Even the water hardly felt any disturbance."

 "See what I mean she is a threat Asib said it himself."

He spoke not them words. It is truly cowardly how most of you want to annihilate this poor soul because of her power. I say we give her a chance…recruit her even."

 Recruit her to our force…our organization…you…you…you are speaking blasphemy."

"I am speaking logic."

 "And if she turns?"

Raising his hand the commander silenced his officers. I say we take turns. Everyone will speak their minds, opinions and objections then at the end we will take a vote on how to go about this matter. Any questions?" The crowd remained silent. "Great now let's begin."

"Horro…" throwing his arms up Abbott gave the Arcadian a hug. "I am truly grateful for the love you have shown us." Bowing and giving The Ibex wife a hug The Omega smiled. "Your meals were truly remarkable. Makes me wish that I held land so I too could enjoy the fruits of my labor." Sliding his gaze between the two Abbott gave them one final bow. "I am truly grateful for the treatment of the children even during my absence."

 "That we need no thanks for." Said Horro. "Brings back the sweet memories of when our children were once calves themselves."

 "Elevation feels my spirit at the thought. Especially since the children and I have worked so hard to come up with an idea of how we are going to show our appreciation."

 "There is no need to shower us with gifts." replied Horro.

"It is not a gift but an exchange of our love and kindness for the love and security displayed to us." Tapping his foot on the ground, The Omega called the kids. "Sarai, Samson." 

Doop, doop, doop, doop , doop there was a slight rumble of the ground then boosch the children came spurting out of the ground on the back of Arion. Making its way to The Ibex and his soul bind the Mermot lowered to the ground. Hopping off the Quintessence back both Sarai and Samson gave him a huge "Thank You!" followed a tackling hug.

 "Considering the conditions of our voyage we thought it would be best if Arion remained under your care to help till and build your land. It also contains the ability to keep your livestock safe from predatory attempts." said Abbott.

 Managing a way to rise up with the kids still holding tightly on Horro clapped his hands together with a bow in respect. "Thank you for your kindness." Standing erect The Ibex gave Abbott a wondering look. "If we could exchange minds. Where are you going next?"

 "To the Meridian Isle."

"You know the passage."

 "It used to be my training grounds once upon a time." replied Abbott.

"Then we share similar interests for we to spend moments in the Isle. In actuality I sent that trio down that exact voyage. They should becoming conscious momentarily but it will be a couple days before they regain strength. I have fed them herbs and other supplements which would disrupt even a djinn."

 "I give thanks."

"It's my duty." 

 Bowing to them one last time The Omega called the kids to him. Watching them give both Horro and Tuli one last embrace Abbott spun around with a grin.

 "Target in sight. Captain, what do you want to do?" Pressing his hand over his ear a purple pentagram appeared. 

 "Is everyone set?" Asked the captain.

"Yes sir, just waiting on commands."

 "Okay cease and capture."

"You heard the man Riko take the shot. Everyone else position yourselves."

 "He stopped."

"Fire."

 Raising his hands in front of his face on command an officer hidden high in the treetops visualized his foe as received in his mind. 

 Stopping at a change in atmosphere peyom six balls of light materialized above Tecto's head. At a twitch of his neck beams of light rained down on him.

 "Where did he…Gorkwin teleporting his comrade out of harm's way before their target could strike him down Riko view shuffled his view on a comrades four headed serpent shuriken zooming through the forest. Opening mini portals to increase the speed and transport the officer view slid on their prey once again.

 Boosh catapulting in the air above the tree to evade the projectile, woom, the shuriken teleported then multiplied times three above him in an diagonal angle. "Quit testing me." Unleashing a wave of thunder to reflect the weapons, Tecto's body began to metamorph. "Thunder's…" lifting a shark blue placoid scale arm to the sky lightning twirled and snaked down the Inkans arm. Rotating his body into a dive foom in a streak of lightning Tecto bolted to the ground punching it. "...Tide." 

 Rolling over the land, ripping, flipping, and tossing trees, stones and all else around the waves of thunder made their way through the forest with a band of dancing and leaping strikes of lightning.

 "He transformed the entire landscape." spoke an officer with a gulp. 

 "Riko," said another. "Thanks." 

Accepting cheers and gratitude from the rest of his team with a smile Riko stood up. "Lieutenant, may I enter this fight?" 

 "We are going to need you in this one." Scanning through the rest of his operatives he told them. "The least we could do is stall him out till the Captain gets here. Are yall ready?"

 . "Are they going to remain in hiding and cower or will they present themselves?" thought Tecto as he stood alone in his own ten foot crater of destruction. 

 Woosh, materializing a propeller the size of a football field over the battlefield Riko cleared away the rolling clouds of dust left after the destruction. Dropping him and his crew on the scene next woom in a flash he had his hold team set up like chinese checkers.

 Rotating his head with a smirk Tecto set off imploding sparks of lightning like fireworks throughout the battlefield. "You are in my domain now." he whispered before bolting across the field snatching his first prey up by the face then tossing him to the side.

 "My face." cried the man feeling the burn along his face left by Tecto's sandpapery grip.

Ignoring his victim's cries Tecto spun around facing a hundred foot tree zooming his way. Raising a bluish white arm with a grin zing the projectile was split in half by The Inkan's serrated fin.

 "Die." Ding clashing blades with the swordlike fin his opponent held one of the officers gaze slid over two his other two officers struggling to break their opponents defenses as well when a sudden shift zing sent them all flying backwards. Woom feeling a wave of thunder sweep across his body yeeent bolts of lightning plunged down on him and his comrades. 

 "Craw" popping into existence with its giant stone arms held high a rooster headed Quint plummeted down upon The Inkan with a hammerfist. 

 Boosh sidestepping the beast attempts Tecto eyes and body moved with the motion of the Quint shifting into a back hand swipe. Bing deflecting the strike with his fin then dropping low weesh, weesh, weesh The Inkan head slid in and out multiple thrusts of the creature's scorpion tail. Leaping backwards after one final weave with a twist and a snap boom both him and his gorilla size foe collided fists.

 Stumbling backwards from the blow with a screech the Quintessence fell to all fours. Opening its beak rawwk the beast unleashed a glimmering flaming red beam from its mouth.
