Sent to Another World!

“They’re good people, aren’t they?”
As I piloted the helicopter, I thought about the people of Moss’s territory.
“Yes, everyone there is wonderful.”
With a somewhat melancholic tone, Sarina’s voice resonated as the land of Marquis Moss disappeared from view.

“Sarina, what kind of town is Raad?”
“Raad is a port town in the Kingdom of Maldorado. It flourishes through trade and there are many things you’ve never seen before there.”
“Ohh, that sounds interesting. You’ve been there before, right?”
“Yes, I’ve visited a few times because my grandfather is there. Also, whenever my father sought economic assistance…”
“Is the economic situation bad in Marquis Moss’s territory?”

As Sarina and I talked, the town of Raad came into view.

“The town is coming into view.”
“It’s faster than I expected. It should have taken a few days.”

The speed of the helicopter surprised Sarina once again.

We landed the helicopter just before the town and switched to a high-mobility vehicle to head into town.

“I am the daughter of Viscount Moss of Roland Kingdom, Sarina. I want to meet my grandfather, Lucas.”
We got stopped when we reached the city gate and Sarina introduced herself.

“I apologize for the inconvenience. We stopped you two because of your unique carriage.”
“No worries, it’s my most proud, exceptional carriage. However, we come in secret this time, so please don’t spread some news.”
“Understood. But please allow us to inform the lord.”
“Yeah, that is not a problem. We’re heading to Lucas Trading Company, so if anything comes up, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Is it alright to proceed then?”

“Of course! Welcome to the town of Lard. Please enjoy your stay.”

And so we get the permission to pass through.

“Sarina, was it a good idea to reveal your identity?”
“It’s okay. This is a neighboring country, not the Kingdom of Roland.”
I was concerned that revealing our identity might cause trouble for Rizark or even the people of Moss territory. But according to Sarina, our visit wouldn’t be known to them.

Finally, we arrived at the Lucas residence.
The Lucas Trading Company was apparently one of the largest companies in Raad and ranked in the top ten in the Kingdom of Maldorado.
Consequently, the mansion was grand and opulent, not inferior to that of a noble.

“Could you please let my grandfather know that Sarina has come here?”
“Sure my lady! I will inform him right away.”
The maid hurried inside.

After a while…
An elderly man came running from inside.

“Sa~ri~na~! You came!”
He tried to jump in order to hug Sarina, but she stopped him with her hand.
“Grandfather, I’m not a child anymore. Please don’t act like that.”

“What are you saying? You’ll always be my granddaughter. Come on, call me grandpa. You can lean on me more, you know. Oh right! I have a necklace prepared for you. I think you’ll like it.”

“I don’t need that. First, please listen to what I have to say.”
After being led to a guest room, Sarina explained all the things that have happened to Lucas.

“What?! Sarina had a lung disease? This won’t do. We must treat it immediately!”
“Grandfather, it’s okay. I already mentioned it earlier, but I was treated by Yoshinobu here.”

“Is that so? I’m grateful for that… But, I feel that Sarina is too close to you?”
“As I mentioned earlier, Yoshinobu is someone important to me. We fled the capital together. Could you please shelter us here, Grandfather?”

A cheerful elderly lady appeared.
“Grandmother!”

Sarina’s grandmother, Myrna, greeted me and then started talking to Sarina.

“Looks like Sarina has found a good person. Alright, you can stay here as long as you want. By the way, why don’t we build a home for you two? That sounds like a good idea.”

“Don’t make decisions on your own. It is still too early for Sarina!”

“You’re complaining now? This kind of opportunity doesn’t come often. Since Sarina has come here, and she said that she wanted to live here.”

“Grandmother, I don’t know if I can ask this, but really? Right now, I am being chased by Roland Kingdom.”

“That is okay. They have no power to attack this kingdom. Lucas Trading Company is also one of the prominent company in this kingdom. There is a small chance that country would force us to hand over the next head of the family.”

“Next head?”
Sarina blankly looked at her grandmother.

“No, there was no plan for that. It was originally going to be given to Salina by Rizak. But since you came to us, we should only observe Sarina doing her best while we enjoy our old age playing with our great grandchild.”

Sarina blushed and fidgeted from left to right.
