**Adam walker's POV**

It's been a few hours since my encounter with that arrow guy and am just going around killing beasts trying to gather just enough points to rank in the top 50.

During my crusade I saw a pack of wolf like beasts each split in two. The way they were killed as if they were just a minor inconvenience unnerved me.

I walked further but it only got worse corpses of different kind of beasts ranging from E rank to B rank all killed in the same way.

Even B rank beasts that I have to escape from were all killed in the same way. Well again it might just be because of the killer's bloodline.

I quickly decided to change directions cause I might not win if I encounter 'the divider'. Oh and that's the name I gave the killer. And he or she will most probably take the first rank. And also probably the reason I was not encountering more beasts.

Soon enough I encountered a feline like beast much like the first one I encountered only bigger and more ferocious from it's aura I could tell it was a it was mid C ranked two whole minor ranks above me.

And judging from the way it was looking at me like I murdered it's father or it's child in this case am gonna have a hell of a battle.

It charged at me at a speed I almost couldn't react to I barely managed to roll to my right to avoid the it's paw which was about to smack my chest.

I swiftly delivered a strike to it's side with my newly acquired dagger the moment I regained my bearings but it didn't do much only managing to graze it a little.

We got engaged in attacking and dodging, well I was mostly doing the dodging cause I knew if it got me once I would be done for.

We have been going at it for a few minutes but I haven't managed to deal it any substantial damage.

It's hide was incredibly tough or maybe it's the dagger that's not good enough, but this status quo ain't good for me all this dodging is sapping my stamina i need to change tactics.

Now there were a few meters between us it charged at me but this time I had different plans.

The beast which was charging with all it's might suddenly slowed down under the immense pressure coming from me. This is an ability of my gravity bloodline I called crushing.

It's works by increasing or multiplying the amount of gravity acting on a certain matter or surroundings.

The feline went from moving like a raging bull to losing it's balance completely while I dashed to it's side before plunging my dagger in it's eye. It couldn't even scream before dying.

That was the toughest fight I had since arriving on this planet.

I climbed a tree as I decided to rest a little before continuing with my hunt, but before I could even settle down another announcement came from my smartwatch.

**3rd person POV**

New announcement: 3652 participants have been eliminated 2000 participants remaining.Check your smartwatch for the rankings. In five minutes you will be teleported out of the forest.

Damn the top 100 are all from the big families except for a few talented commoners mixed in between.

So am rank 38 huh thought Adam. At least I managed to rank in the top fifty and rank doesn't necessarily mean the ones ranked above you are definitely stronger.

It depends on the number of beasts and participants you encountered but from rank twenty upwards those are the real monsters.

And I've figured out who is the divider it's none other than the top ranker Aurora De Silva.

I should have thought of it, I mean she's the girl who is said to be the most talented bloodline holder to have ever been seen since the emergence.

And the number of corpses split in two that I have seen alone are enough to take rank the first rank. Am starting to reconsider the name I think 'lady divider' would be more fitting.

Not long after a bright light emerged from my smartwatch forcing me to close my eyes and when I opened them again I was in a completely different environment.

There I stood in a hall, a very large one to be but I wasn't the only one.

There were about 2000 young people both males and females around my age or to be precise the entire participants who passed the entrance test were here which is exactly 2000.

Looking around I could see the top ten or more specifically scions of the great families, they stood aloof as if nothing bothered them except for an odd guy who was grinning, while the rest of the crowd were muttering about them.

I saw her Aurora De Silva, she truly deserved her reputation as the most beautiful girl in the past few thousand years. She was also the one most spoken about in the hall.

Soon a few people walked into the hall with a golden haired man at the lead.

The hall grew silent the moment he was sighted. With grace filled steps he walked towards the edge of the hall which looked like a stage. After climbing the stage he turned and faced the participants.

"Congratulations everyone for passing the entrance exam he began with a deep voice.

As you already know I am Richard Damien the principal of nebula academy. Since the founding of this academy this is the most talented and outstanding batch yet" he said without pausing.

"From now on everyone of you is a first year cadet of this academy.

Your dorm number will be sent to your smartwatch and classes start on Monday which is in five days. Have a fruitful academic year, thank you", and with that he disappeared.
