So before Alidus could reach his final target, the five commanders suddenly started running towards each other. While they were running at each other, they used their limbs to pick up demons around them that they threw in the direction of Alidus.

It was as if they wanted to stall him even for a moment with these demons.

Alidus didn't have a problem dodging out of the way, but it did stall him a bit since he had to dodge out of the way.

Once the five demon commanders reached each other, they suddenly reached out towards each other with their limbs.

They didn't attack each other with those limbs, they didn't throw each other either. They just grabbed the limbs of the other demon commanders and then pulled themselves closer to each other until they formed a single mass.

The way that their limbs came together, it was as if they were converging into one.

It was as if they were pulling themselves into a single mass.

After they came together, there was this large burst of the dark corruption energy that suddenly came from these demons. It became a vortex of dark corruption energy that hid them from the rest of the world.

Alidus stopped when he saw this since he could feel the danger coming from this vortex.

At the same time, I jumped onto the back of Joan with Ariel.

As we flew out, I went over to pick up Moon as well before flying close to where Alidus was.

The vortex continued spinning during this time and it seemed to become more and more intense. It was as if the power of the dark corruption energy was getting stronger the more that the vortex spun.

Finally, the vortex stopped all of a sudden and revealed the appearance of the mass that was formed from the five demon commanders.

It revealed that there was only one figure that was standing there in the center of the vortex. It seemed that the five demon commanders had come together to form one single thing.

This was a terrifying looking thing that was standing in the center of the vortex of dark corruption energy.

The first thing that anyone noticed about this figure was the dark skin that it had.

It was darker than the colour of the dark corruption energy, as if it had concentrated all of that dark corruption energy into itself.

The next thing that one noticed were the six arms and three legs that this giant demon had. As soon as they saw this, they would recognize what kind of demon this giant was.

Asura.

It was a rare type of demon that was said to have been gone for a long time because of how bloodthirsty they were. They were a tribe of demons that had been the perfect battle freaks, but they had fought to the death against the others which was why they had become extinct.

After a moment of silence, the giant asura suddenly gave a roar that shook the entire battlefield.

The power contained in the roar was much greater than anything that the demon commanders had shown on their own.

However, that wasn't strange since this giant asura was the combination of the five demon commanders from before. It was only a natural thing that they would combine the power of all five demon commanders into one.

It was hard to predict just what the limit of this giant asura's power was.

With the way that it looked down at its hands after giving off this roar made it seem like even the giant asura didn't know the limits of its own power.

It was almost as if it had given that roar to test itself.

After looking at its hands for a bit, the giant asura started looking across the battlefield as if it was looking for something.

In the end, the giant asura's eyes fell onto Alidus who had moved away from the giant asura. As soon as the giant asura's eyes landed on Alidus, it suddenly pointed all of its hands at it. It was almost as if the giant asura was saying that Alidus was its target and that it would take it down.

But it turned out that this wasn't the reason why it was pointing at Alidus.

After it pointed at Alidus, there was this dark corruption energy that seeped out of the giant asura. This dark corruption energy gathered in the hands of the giant asura, but it gathered in a specific form.

In no time at all, the dark corruption energy took the shape of different weapons.

There was a sword, a rapier, a spear, a mace, a bardiche, and an axe that appeared in each of its six hands respectively.

Once those six weapons appeared, the giant asura gave another roar before charging out at Alidus.

There were different demons that were being trapped by the golems in its way, but it didn't seem to care at all as it stepped right over them. With the size of the giant asura, it literally stomped on the demons that were in its way, crushing them under its feet as it charged forward.

It didn't seem like the giant asura cared at all about the various demons that were in its way, it only seemed to care about taking down Alidus.

Alidus deeply knitted his brows as he could feel the pressure coming from the giant asura, but he wasn't the first one to make a move.

Rather, it was me.

"Fire breath." I said with a pat on Joan's back.

As soon as she received this order, Joan immediately released a large breath of flames that swept across the lands in front of us. The demons that were there were burnt to a crisp along with the golems, though both of them seemed like they were able to recover because of this.

As for the giant asura...

It swung only two of its weapons at the flames that were coming at it.

It swung the sword and the rapier in its top hands downwards.
