Clang!

A metallic clatter echoed through the air, prompting Dream God Machine to weakly glance up at the dagger. Without hesitation, he crawled toward it, seized it, and a look of relief spread across his face as he drew the blade across his neck and collapsed lifelessly to the ground. 

The scent of blood quickly caught the attention of the other two, leading Zhi Lin and Vice Chairman Bai Bao Shan to scramble toward Dream God Machine's body in a frantic attempt to grab the dagger, resulting in an intense brawl between them. Before long, they were reduced to nothing more than a gruesome mess, each victim of the other's attack. 

Watching this disturbing scene unfold, Ye Chen covered his nose and shook his head in dismay. With a sigh, he hoisted his prized package onto his shoulder and slipped into a large hole, vanishing swiftly beneath the royal city. 

Meanwhile, high above Heaven Dou City, the four Title Douluos faced one another in silence. 

With a charming smile, Ju Douluo remarked, "Let's wait for her Holiness the Pope to arrive." Afterward, she soared back with Ghostly to the villa courtyard of Heaven Dou Royal Academy. 

The duo hatched a plan that if they couldn't locate Ye Chen, even if they couldn't completely dismantle the royal family, destroying the Royal Academy would at least be something to report back to the Pope. They figured that even the two strongest individuals, Jian and Gu, couldn't possibly protect such a large institution. 

Once on the villa grounds, Ju and Ghostly immediately began their search. 

Close behind them, Chen Xin and Gu Rong arrived and spotted Ning Rongrong sitting quietly at the back of the hall. Feeling slightly guilty, they said, "Sorry, Rongrong, we still haven't found Ye Chen." 

Ning Rongrong, scratching her head in confusion, replied, "There's no need to apologize, Grandpa Jian and Grandpa Gu. Ye Chen is back!" 

"What did you just say?" 

The four looked at her in disbelief, and they all exclaimed in unison, "Is what you're saying true? Ye Chen is still alive?" 

"Seriously? You old folks don't want me to live?" 

Before Ning Rongrong could clarify, Ye Chen strolled out from the side room, beaming at the four Title Douluos, exuding confidence as if there were no threats at all. 

Seeing him safe and sound brought immense relief to Chen Xin and the others, while Ju Douluo and Ghostly also breathed easy, grateful to have sidestepped a considerable conflict. 

Chen Xin and Gu Rong exchanged glances, then turned back to Ye Chen, reaching out to gently pat Ning Rongrong's head with a hint of reluctance. They advised, "Since Ye Chen is back, we should head home. The Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School still needs our protection. Rongrong, be careful out there. We can't always be by your side, so don't let anyone bully you. Your father has cautioned you to stay wary of those around you." 

"Pfft!" 

Ye Chen nearly coughed up a laugh; it was clear that the Ning family certainly knew how to speak. Who was really being bullied here? 

Remembering the time Ning Rongrong had tied him up a few days prior, Ye Chen felt like he was the true victim — what a convoluted family dynamic! 

"Yeah, I understand, but I'm the only one who gets to bully Brother Ye Chen. He treats me well!" 

Ning Rongrong sweetly hugged Ye Chen's arm as she smiled, while he managed a reluctant grin and said, "Don't worry, as long as I'm around, no one will harm you." 

"That's good to hear. We really should be heading back now." 

With that, the two of them soared into the sky, disappearing from view above the Royal Academy.

At that moment, the two great elders, Ju and Gui, approached Ye Chen. "Is there anything you'd like us to relay to His Holiness the Pope? He's quite worried about you," they inquired. 

Feeling a bit bashful, Ye Chen scratched his head and pulled out a gorgeous purple and gold gauze dress from his storage ring, saying, "This dress is called the 'Xuantian Purple Gold Robe.' It has soothing properties that will help ensure Master has sweet dreams every night." 

Recognizing the item's value, Ju Douluo beamed and said, "What a wonderful treasure! At least you're showing some gratitude. The Pope has treated you well, after all." With that, she and Gui Douluo took to the skies, leaving the Tian Dou Royal Academy. 

Once the four Title Douluos departed, Flender and Tang San from Shrek Academy exited the villa to return to their own responsibilities, as the academy exchange conference was still ongoing and required their attention. 

As most people began to leave the hall, Ye Chen couldn't resist pulling Hu Liena into an embrace, eager for some passionate moments. But just as he took a few steps, a large hand placed itself firmly on his shoulder. 

"Hey, kiddo, come with me for a moment. I have something important to discuss with you." 

Dugu Bo muttered to himself before grabbing Ye Chen and Dugu Yan and flying off toward his lair in the Sunset Forest. 

His speed was remarkable, and soon they arrived in a vast valley that was utterly enchanting. The landscape was dotted with ordinary stones, but the area was otherwise filled with vibrant blue and red crystals that shimmered with an extraordinary glow. 

Once Ye Chen stepped fully into the valley and took in the breathtaking scenery, he gasped in astonishment, exclaiming, "Isn't this the Eye of Ice and Fire? And look at all the amazing immortal herbs!" 

"Hahaha, you've got an eye for details! Do you know why I brought you here?" 

Dugu Bo appeared beside Ye Chen, while Dugu Yan followed behind with her head down, her face flushed in embarrassment, her expression a mystery. 

"Go ahead and tell me; I'm curious too." 

Appreciating Ye Chen's calm demeanor, Dugu Bo smiled wider, stroking his white beard as he chuckled, "You're quite remarkable. I also have a very exceptional granddaughter. I think you two would make a wonderful couple." 

As he spoke, he took Dugu Yan's wrist and placed it firmly in Ye Chen's hand, declaring, "There's no better time than now. Today, I will arrange for my granddaughter to marry you." 

"Wait, what?" 

Ye Chen was taken aback. Is Dugu Bo really serious about this? Is this a forced marriage? Just as he was about to insist that they should ponder Dugu Yan's thoughts, Dugu Bo, sensing his hesitation, turned to Dugu Yan and asked, "Yan'er, do you like Ye Chen? Are you willing to marry him today?" 

Dugu Yan didn't reply verbally, but quietly nodded, her pretty face still burning with embarrassment and devoid of any surprise. 

Seeing this, Ye Chen's heart sank; it dawned on him that this grandfather-granddaughter duo had likely orchestrated this entire event in advance to corner him. 

Realizing that his master and the four Title Douluos had just left, and the fact that he was brought here by this old poison master didn't seem spontaneous, but rather a planned maneuver. 

As Ye Chen stood there, dazed, Dugu Bo gained confidence and proclaimed, "If you marry Yan'er, everything you've seen here will be yours as a dowry. Plus, I'll always be your steadfast support in the future. How does that sound?" 

A stunning beauty for a wife, accompanied by such an incredible dowry? 

Glancing at the adorable and charming Dugu Yan, entwined with the swirling energies of the Eye of Ice and Fire, Ye Chen couldn't help but stroke his chin and seriously deliberate the offer.
