Single Mum

At work Han sung called Ahn Jong. 

"Hello,Han sung, how are you? "I'm fine.

"Any news yet?

"Yes,yourdate is back yourblinddateis tomorrow. 

"Tomorrow? 

,"Yes, tomorrow. 

"Who will take of ji ah while I am away?

"She is a big girl, Ahn Jong you worry over her like she is still a baby. 

"Well you are right.

"I you feel you cannot leave her alone at home, she can come over to my house. 

"Don't worry, she can stay on her own. 

"Be careful so she won't know, this is your first time going on as blind date for me when ju ah is staying with you. 

"You know she stayed at her grandmother's place, she started living with me recently. 

"What made her refuse to go back?,I did not have the opportunity to ask you. 

"You know her grandmother owns a restaurant, ji ah complains that the work over there is hectic,so I had to bring her to Seoul when I rented a better apartment that we can stay comfortably. 

."OK, I will send the address, so you would met him,goodnight.

Ahn Jong got home and met ji ah sleeping already, she wondered if she was sick because ji ah do not sleep at such time.

"Ji ah!, ji ah are you alright? 

"Mum,you're back, (yawns).

"Yes,I am back, ate you sick,?

"I'm fine, I was just tired today. 

"Do you still tired? 

"A bit.

"You can go and sleep,goodnight. 

"Goodnight, Mum, ji ah goes to her room and jump on her bed without blankets her door was opened, Ann Jong goes and closes the door, she baths eats and sleeps preparing for tomorrow.

Thenext day after work, Han sung took her friend to a beauty salon to dress her up,she met up with her date the man was far from what she imagined she understands the reason why Han sung didn't go for the date,they had planned how the date will go ,Ahn Jong acted like a possessed woman. Han sung was also there the man fainted the moment he saw Han sung's face ,he was rushed to a hospital, he quickly blocked Han sung's phone number the moment he recovered from his unconsciousness. 

Ahn Jong was invited by Han sung to have a drink over an unsuccessful date but that did not stop her father from finding new men to go on a dating his daughter. 

"Han sung your face could be mistaken for a witch, you looked so scary. 

"The man freaked out I could not believe he fainted. 

"That's how some men are, Han sung got a message she switched off her phone the moment she saw the message.

"What's wrong? 

"My father has arranged another date for me.

"Already?,he must really be in need of a heir.

"He totally is, cab you go on a blind date for me again?

"I'm totally good, I'm happy either the 950,000 won I just received. 

"I will give you a million won if you go.

"Seriously? 

"I'm really serious now,please help me Ahn Jong. 

"Alright, I will go.

"Oh thank you, thank you, you are on a million friends. 

"But pay me my money quickly. 

"You can trust me onn that,I wil send you 500,000 won, when the deal is done I will pay thr rest. 

"Now you are serious. 

"Besides I'm moving to a new apartment. 

"For real?,asked Ahn Jong surprised.

"Yes,because as long as I am living with my father he would keep arranging blind dates and presence would keep telling him he needs a heir,a son-in-law.

"Don't treat yourself like that. 

"It's the truth me feels I cannot handle his business well like men does,that's why he keeps arranging blind dates for me.

"Don't worry, you'll find your heart's desires he checks her phone and sees the time is five minutes after ten;10:05 pm.

"I guess we will see tomorrow. 

"Goodnight Han sung. 

"Goodnight Ahn Jong. 

Ahn Jong arrived home bu ji ah was not around she was at the comic store. She went to her favourite shelf but the comic was not there.

"Ma'am, please excuse me but the comic is not there.

"The boy is meant to bring it to...

"Looking for this?,the boy shows the comic book to ji ah and the owner of the comic store. 

"He is the one that has been with the comic since ,the owner points at the boy.

"Who are you?

"You seem to be a fan of comics,the boy enters into the reading room, ji ah followed him.

"You've not answered me yet,who are you?

"My name is Sang Hom. 

"Sang Hom whoever you may be hand over the comic book.

"What if I told you I am not done with reading it.

"Since Tuesday you have been with this book and today is Thursday. 

"I'm joking,I am done with reading it.act calculative.

"Because I am calculative,she drags the book from his hand and leaves the store. 

"What's your name?

"I can't tell you my name. 

"But I told you mine. 

"My name is Ji ah. 

"Ji ah a pretty name for a pretty girl. 

"Bye ji ah leaves the store with the comic book. 

Ahn Jong was home already waiting ji ah came back. 

"How was school?

"Good,she climbs the stairs and goes to her room, after bathing she eats dinner and goes to her room and started reading the comic. 

Ji ah got to the next day but was shocked to find Sang Hom in her school and class.

"Hi ji ah we meet again.

"How come you are in my school? 

"Don't you think it's fate?,I have always been in this school. 

"How come I have never seen you?

"You transferred to this school this year, when you transferred I went abroad to little but I didn't like It over there Korea was much fun so I came back to Korea.

"How did you knew transferred to this school this year? 

"Because I know everything that goes on in this school even if I am here or not. Are you done with reading the comic? 

"No,why are you bothered?

"It took me a day to finish reading it.

"Liar

"Ha! You got me. 

"You're really weird and mysterious. 

Ji ah enters the class and sees her books written on it was 'daughter of a prostitute'.Ji ah el embarrassed and ran to the rest room crying. Sang Hom goes to he seat and packs her books.

"Il Seong why did you have to do that to ji ah,an innocent girl. 

"Innocent?,huh! ,Let her keep fooling you you claiming to be harmless and calm when she is a lioness inside,by the way why do you care?,don't tell me you like her, bother.

"It's alright for you to act that way ,Sang Hom arranges her book and packs it into her bag,cleaning the board.Ji ah comes back to class and mets her book arranged, she did not bother to ask. "Here,take,Sang Hom gives her a tissue. 

"Thank you, ji ah managed to say.

At Ahn jong's workplace, Chung Ho was back his father sends for him to address he workers but rather he sends his secretary his mother was so angry but to tried to hide it.

"Mrs Chong moon always talks about her son but he could not address us.

"Ahe always talks about him like he was an obedient child but did not obey his parents request. 

"I was so happy finally, she will stop comparing us with her son who we have never seen... and the two workers went on gossiping about the chairman's family.

At home, Mrs Chong moon was so angry with her son. 

"Chung Ho, must you go against my orders?

"Mummy,Chung Ho is so stubborn when daddy told him to come to Korea and study he stayed abroad, again when you told him that father had built a hotel ,that he should come he did not bother coming, now let him address the worker's of father's hotel he sent his secretary. Its because ou have been too lenient with him mu...

"Would you keep quiet?,asked Chung Ho coming inside. 

"It's the truth you always go against mum and dad order. 

"Chung Ho, your sister is right gyou always 

go against our order,admitted Mrs Chong moon. 

"I'm no more a child you and dad can control anymore, protested Chung Ho. 

"A child you say,we are your parents there are most things tell you have to obey,did you the insults I Indirectly received from my workers I always compare you to my workers but when you disobeyed my other I felt like a fool they didn't gossip me but gossipedbut at my back.

"Then,you should comparing me because I could disappoint you.

"You see he knows he's disobedient.

"Watch your mouth Chin kwan,warned Chung Ho, Chin kwan ran and sat beside their.

"I have tried my best but you always act cold toward everyone even your family,Chung Ho did not say anything.

"Your father wants to see you, he is his study room.

Chung Ho knew I was going to be scolding through out.

"Chung Ho, called Mr Han gyeol. 

"Yes,father, answered Chung Ho.

"Why are you so disobedient,asked Mr Han gyeol angrily. 

"I know you are are angry because I did not come for the addressing but my schedule was tight.

"You always have an excuse to back yourself out,why do you act like you don't care about anyone, even to your own family? 

"I don't have to run to this family direction everytime you call me. I have always agreed to go on blind dates you set for me even though it eats away my time. What more do this family wants from? 

"I know you won't see the light in what I'm saying,anyways you have other blind dates to go since that is the one only you agree o do.

"I just came back from China.

"Father. 

"You may leave, Chung Ho leaves the room to him his family always wanted him to follow their footsteps. 

Chung Ho ran his bath and began bathing he remembered the blind date he had gone with an underage girl. 

Flashback...

"Hi,my name is Min jae. 

"Hello.

"What's your name? 

"Chung Ho. 

"Cute,are you on social media?

"No

"Huh!,you don't know the trends ,she goes to social media and shows Chung Ho who was not interested.

"How is this fun?

"Hmmm, you're no fun at all, I don't like you,she calls her parents. 

"Hello, Mum, I don't like him, he is no fun. 

"But he Is handsome, said Min jae parent. 

"But no fun, I don't like him, I'm out of here, she hangs up and leaves.

"Goodbye, said Min jae did not reply her.

"Hmmm, no fun she left the restaurant. 

Back to present...

Now he was going to another blind date he hoped his next date would be more reasonable and sensible after bathing he changes to his Nighties and goes down for dinner. 

"You must go to the hotel tomorrow.

"But I have a busy schedule and I have to prepare for the blind dates.

"Chung Ho...

"Please dear just let him be and they all ate in silence.
