Corey could not believe what he was seeing. His luck had reduced by so much that it almost felt unreal. His jaw dropped and his mouth remained open in utter shock and disbelief for at least five seconds.
After rubbing his eyes a few more times and tapping his status screen to make sure he was not seeing things, he could not help but exclaim inwardly.
'Why did my luck decrease so much Nina?!'
[Because of the Nightmare Finger that is close to you.]
'What?' Corey was baffled, and Nina released a soft sigh.
[When you were about to get teleported, the heavens decided to subtly manipulate your teleportation, and since you had enough luck, you were teleported directly to a place which had a Nightmare Finger.]
After Corey heard this, he became more confused, 'So, let me get this straight. The heavens had to use 689.41 units of my luck to make sure that I was teleported to a temple which has a Nightmare Finger?'
[You're not completely correct…] Nina paused, [If I'm correct, I don't think it's every temple in this shattered dimension that would have a NIghtmare Finger.]
Corey raised his brows when he heard this, 'Are you trying to say that this Temple might belong to the actual owner of the Nightmare Fingers?'
[It is a possibility.]
Corey furrowed his brows with a thoughtful expression. He knew that Nina most likely had a reason for saying this since she knew more than he did, however, he did not ask since he was sure he would figure it out or learn about it eventually.
'I know that the Nightmare Finger is special and belongs to a powerful being, but I still feel like the amount of luck that was used to make sure I appeared here was too much. I'm sure that I would have been able to sense the presence of this Nightmare Finger as long as I appeared in a place that was not too far from here.'
Although Corey said this, he also knew that appearing directly inside the temple was good for him. He still had no idea about the dangers of the shattered dimension, and who was to say that he'd even be able to enter the Temple easily if he was coming from outside?
However, he still felt like the heavens had taken a lot of his luck.
[There's also another reason why a lot of your karmic luck was used.]
Corey was immediately curious and suspicious. If there was another reason, then why did Nina not tell him earlier?
[I was not sure before, but there's a 90% chance that there's an infinity crystal outside the Temple… A complete infinity crystal, and not a fragment of an infinity crystal.]
Corey's eyes widened to the limits, 'What?! Are you sure?!'
Corey was so excited that if Nina had a physical body, he would have grabbed her shoulders and shook her in excitement.
[I said there's a 90% chance. It's not certain.]
A wide smile appeared on Corey's face the instant he heard this, and he started laughing out loud. The joy he had shattered every bit of caution he had in his heart toward his surroundings in the temple.
'A 90% chance is almost a certainty. After I'm done searching the temple, I'll look for the infinity crystal immediately! I don't have to fucking deal with a tribulation of hell for my tier promotion!'
Corey almost said his words out loud, however, he knew he could not say these words out loud no matter what.
[Just make sure not to die in here.]
Nina said, and Corey chuckled softly. His status screen emerged in front of him.
'I don't think I will. I mean, I prepared as much as I could before the Battle of Chosens.'

When I was re-reading the book, I realized that I never put the Limit Breaker title in the list of titles, so I put it now. Also, the new skills would be added to the other list of skills when next the status screen is shown.
