Chapter 5: Let's Dance (1)
...
"Alright, I'm going to say it. We are FUCKED!!!" Hades cursed out as he disappeared into the shadows.
A bead of sweat dripped down Poseidon's face as he encircled himself in a second vortex of water on top of the first, increasing their velocities further.
Zeus glared hatefully at Silba, gray electricity flowing through his veins, arcing across his body in restless streaks.
The atmosphere was palpable, only enhanced by their auras manifesting into reality. It was jaw-dropping.
From the King of the Gods rose a towering eagle, its grey feathers shimmering with streaks of lightning, each flap of its massive wings releasing winds that threatened to blow the place apart. It cawed loudly—a call of dominance that cracked the reinforced glass, arrogant and merciless.
Opposite of the bird, Silba's aura erupted—a silver crow, equal in size to the eagle, unfurled its gleaming wings. Its body shined far brighter than the eagle ever could, and its mercury-hued feathers were as sharp as its talons. It didn't respond to its enemy's cry, simply because there was no need to. Its silence and glaring eyes were enough to indicate just what it felt towards the eagle. Disgust and hatred.
Beneath the crow, a serpent emerged—a colossal king cobra with gleaming, dark golden scales that shimmered ominously in the dim throne room. It hissed as its massive body coiled around the chamber. Its glowing eyes locked onto the eagle, and its lips curled into a sly, mocking smirk.
Poseidon had also let out his own divine aura to withstand the overwhelming pressures of the two. Beside the eagle emerged yet another large animal, though not a bird. A majestic stallion appeared, standing dignified. Its green fur glistened like the deep sea, and its white mane flowed like the crashing waves. Though it reared up and neighed, yet just like the sea god, it didn't look up for the fight ahead.
All four auras clashed violently. If it hadn't been for the protection magic holding the place together, the throne room would've exploded moments ago.
"Well, you disgrace!" Zeus beckoned with open arms. "I'm waiting!" He baited with a mocking smile splayed across his face. "Or are you just going to stand there like that wench you call mother?"
That did it. Silba's glowing eyes narrowed dangerously, the fury behind them intensifying. Zeus had gotten his wish.
'Why did you have to say that.' Kronos palmed his head, yet could not hide the maniacal grin spreading across his face. 'Let's dance.'
The creature of silver water opened its mouth, and alongside the crow, unleashed a deafening, ear-piercing screech that tore through the air and turned the floors into spiderweb cracks.
*SCREEEEEEEEEEEEECH!!!*
Due to the noise, the three brothers felt blood trickle out of their ears. It was like a chorus of clanging metal ruthlessly echoing through a cavern. The sheer intensity sent whirling shockwaves reverberating through the air. The temperature plummeted with each passing second, made worse by the overwhelming surge of bloodlust let loose on them.
Without warning, Silba vanished in a blur, his speed far outclassing anything his uncles could dish out. He reappeared behind the King of Olympus, his dark, razor-sharp claws glinting maliciously.
"I will rip your fucking tongue!" His claw shot forward in a deadly thrust no different than a javelin. This was the kind of attack that would obliterate a lesser god.
But Zeus was no lesser god. With the reflexes of a seasoned warrior, he spun around, his fist enveloped in lightning. The collision was instantaneous.
*CLASH!*
*BOOM!*
A deafening explosion of energy burst forth, sending shockwaves throughout the throne room.
*BOOM!*
Poseidon leaped back to avoid the destructive blast from the both of them. 'Their power is insane!' He grunted as he braced himself. He wasn't close to the source of the collision yet he was still affected.
Explosions ripped through the throne room, the sheer force rumbling the place apart. The vessel shook under the impact as white and silver lightning spiraled all around.
The ground beneath their feet cracked and crumbled under the pressure. Zeus's strength was immense, but Silba stood his ground, refusing to yield even an inch against his hated enemy.
His uncle sneered at this act of stubborn resistance. "You still dare to defy me, even now!?" He growled, his fist tightening, white lightning crackling. He pressed harder against Silba's claw, forcing his nephew back inch by agonizing inch, the ground beneath them tearing like fragile paper. "All this power in the hands of a mere child—you deserve none of it!" The King of the Gods spat.
Silba met his uncle's glare head-on, then proceeded to turn his claws into a fist, and the air around him began to tremble. The fist vibrated with the power of tectonic fury, amplifying his strength. This was his earthshaker ability, the power to rumble and split the earth.
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
The enhancement of earthshaker rivaled Zeus's power and even slightly exceeded it, putting them on equal footing. "Neither does a serial rapist like you!" Silba hissed.
'Ouch, right in the jugular.' Snickered the Titan Lord.
Zeus's eyes twitched madly. "You will pay for your insolence!" He roared, his voice booming. With a thunderous bellow, he pulled his other fist back, white-hot lightning sparking and surging around it.
Silba, unshaken, was more than happy to oblige and did the same.
*CLASH!*
*BOOM!*
They sent each other flying back, their feet carving deep trenches across the floor as they skidded to a stop. The throne room was a battlefield now, littered with the shattered remains of columns and debris.
*BOOM!*
They launched themselves at each other once more—so fast that, to mortal and even immortal eyes, they were little more than silver and gray streaks, weaving through the chaos.
Every blow they exchanged caused the very air to tear. Sparks of lightning from Zeus and tremors from Silba's earthshaker ability collided in a cacophony of destruction.
Zeus's eyes sparked brighter. With a commanding force, he summoned storm clouds that swirled above, dark and roiling with lightning. It arced down, engulfing his fist in a storm. "HAAAAAAGH!" He threw a devastating right hook.
But Silba was faster. He ducked under, moving with uncanny precision and fluidity. Before Zeus could recover, Silba darted into his blind spot, where his trembling fists surged forward in a relentless barrage right on his sides.
*PUNCH*
*CRACK!*
The force of Silba's hits reverberated through Zeus's body, driving him backward several paces. The god-king grunted in pain. Despite his overwhelming strength, his nephew's speed, precision, and agility far surpassed him.
Unfortunately for him, his nephew didn't let up, closing the distance again with a flurry of punches. His fists moved like pistons, each punch powered by the relentless tremors of the Earthshaker power. The god king blocked where he could, countering with powerful swings and blocking with his massive arms, but his enemies' agility kept him a step ahead of the game.
Zeus released a discharge of divine lightning—an attempt to create space—but Silba leaped into the air, dodging the wide-area attack. When the lightning faded, he descended with a downward kick. The King of Olympus barely managed to block the attack, raising his forearm in defense.
*BOOM!*
The King of Olympus seethed, feeling a burning sensation coming from his nephew's heel. His fingers spasmed as he stiffened to block out the pain. Seeing his chance, he reached out to grab Silba's foot, smiling at the opportunity to snap it clean off. But just as his fingers surrouned it, a silver hexagon materialized beside him.
Silba vanished in a flash, reappearing directly in front of him.
*PUNCH!*
"HUUGHK!" Golden blood spilled from his mouth. His body seized, a paralyzing numbness creeping through his limbs. His eyes moved down at the fist buried in his side.
"...BAHSTARRD!!!" His mouth leaked more blood as he glared at his nephew.
Silba pulled back, letting him collapse to his knees, where he clutched his punctured side, ichor dripping to the floor as he struggled to stay upright. His nephew suddenly grabbed him by the hair and began socking him like he owed him money.
*PUNCH!*
*PUNCH!*
*PUNCH!*
More and more earthshaker fists made contact with the god king's face, making him a bloody mess. Seeing this humiliation from his grandson's eyes, Kronos laughed. 'Hahahaha! Oh, this is pure gold right here.' The Titan wiped tears of joy from his eye. 'Not so pretty now are you, you bastard?'
*UPPERCUT!*
