Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1459: Large Completion Stage

Chapter 1459: Large Completion Stage

It wasn’t Shang Xia’s first experience being swept away by a spatial storm.

Even though he felt uncomfortable when he was thrown about in the void, he quickly composed himself. He released his domain once again to surround himself, slowly separating the region of space around him from the spatial storm.

The only problem he would face would be for him to be thrown about the void for a little while longer.

Shang Xia originally brought a Star Observation Compass with him that pointed to Star Beast Nest No.2, but it might be because he was too far away at the moment that it wasn’t able to direct him towards it.

With his experience getting lost in the chaotic streams once before, Shang Xia didn’t panic. He brought out his small Star Ship once again and activated it. The formations that were carved into the body of the ship by Chu Jia with the Formation Blade he gave her back then started to thin with light and formed a screen 30 feet wide, covering the entire ship. The Formation Blade was the reason she was able to carve such intricate formations into such a tiny ship.

The barrier might not be able to last for too long and required a huge number of essence crystals to maintain, but it gave the user enough time to compose themselves in the chaotic streams and to think of a way out.

In Shang Xia’s hands, the barrier could last longer as he could power the formation with his inner qi while replenishing it from the essence qi contained in the chaotic streams.

The Crimson Soul Tablet was also providing Shang Xia with the energy it refined after absorbing world origin from the Essence Xing World, and after being thrown into the void by the spatial storms, Shang Xia decided to remain where he was and cultivate for some time. He would reach the large completion stage of the sixth tier of the Six Direction Realm before returning. After all, there would be no one to disrupt his cultivation where he was.

What he was doing wouldn’t make sense to anyone else, but Shang Xia was more than capable of doing it.

There was no need to mention staying in a single spot in the chaotic streams. One might not even be able to calculate the flow of time properly.

However, Shang Xia’s Star Ship was like a lone island that remained firmly in place in the chaotic streams. It looked like it would be swallowed at any second but it never happened.

After an unknown amount of time that passed, the protective barrier around the Star Ship disappeared. However, the chaotic streams around didn’t devour the ship. Instead, they started to scatter.

To be more accurate, a domain had formed around the Star Ship after the protective barrier disappeared. It forced the space around to enter a state of calm.

Facing the powerful chaotic streams, the peaceful region didn’t shrink from the constant bombardment. Instead, it started to expand.

In the very center of the stable space, Shang Xia, who was the source of the change, had already awakened. However, he didn’t pay too much attention to the region outside. Instead, he was focused on the transformation in his dantian.

The Six Direction Qi in his dantian was filled to the brim, and it was the sign that his cultivation had already reached the large completion stage of the Six Direction Realm.

Under such circumstances, Shang Xia’s next step would be to comprehend his martial intent, Six Harmony Supporting the Heavens. Once he did, he would reach the grand completion stage.

Actually, Shang Xia already had the capabilities to comprehend his martial intent. With his advancement into the large completion stage, his comprehension of his Six Harmony Flawless Rod Technique and Six Harmony Rod Technique had already reached a state of perfection. He could confirm that the Breath of a Heavenly Field was the mysterious energy he absorbed at the gap in the Star Curtain, and the World Establishing Art was something he had comprehended to a certain extent. At the very least, he was able to create a stable space within the chaotic streams with his domain.

One had to know that the World Establishing Art was an inheritance that could be used to create Holy Lands, Elysiums, and even Dao Fields. Those would be created in a world due to the stability of the space there.

Creating a secret region in the void was much more difficult as the space would fracture easily and even though that would mean that creating the space would be easy, ensuring its stability would be much more difficult. They would need huge amounts of resources in order to do so.

When Shang Xia was training in his World Establishing Art, he chose the most extreme method. He tried to create a secret region in the chaotic streams itself.

Of course, he had his reasons for doing so. He was able to do whatever he wished in the chaotic streams with no one to stop him. He didn’t have to worry about damaging his world either.

Because of that, he experienced rapid improvement.

If anyone wanted to try what he did, the most important requirement would be their capability to remain in the chaotic streams for a long time, which he didn’t lack.

As his domain reached its limit, Six Direction Qi poured out from his dantian to allow the secret region to take its form.

Throughout the process, Shang Xia didn’t use the Heaven Supporting Jade Pillar in his hand. That was a Holy Artifact that was used to establish an Elysium, and it could greatly reduce the stress on him when he unleashed the World Establishing Art, but he still chose not to use it.

He was clearly unwilling to use any outside help to complete the secret region, and after some time, Shang Xia felt the stable space around him trembling. A smile appeared on his face as he realized he had comprehended his World Establishing Art.

The Six Direction Qi in his dantian no longer flowed out of his body and his domain started to retract. His divine soul was still observing everything outside, but all he was doing was observing the rate at which the chaotic streams were corroding the stable space he created.

Even though he had successfully done it, facing the constant corrosion from the chaotic streams, it was a matter of time before the region of stable space would be eaten away.

All of a sudden, he wondered if he should return to Star Beast Nest No.2 before heading to the gap in the Star Curtain to comprehend his martial intent.

It also went without saying that he would have to leave the chaotic streams first and find his way back before anything else...
