Star Wars: CT-0292 Vaughn

"Commander, remind me why I´m here again?" I asked Ahsoka as I sighed. 

I was currently standing in an LAAT, equipped with the full SCUBA-Trooper armor, with some yellow markings.

I had been given a week of SCUBA-Training from Commander Monnk after tensions on Mon Cala rose and Anakin was sent there alongside Padme.

And for some reason, I received it and not Rex. 

"Well, who's gonna watch my back if I don't have you?" She responded with a sigh and I sighed.

Which earned me the chuckles of the entire Squad + 5 Scuba Troopers behind me. 

"Then you should have brought Rex or Fives, they fight better than me." I told her.

Now, that was debatable. I was probably a better fighters than Fives, but his ARC Status almost assumed he was better. Plus, everyone likes a humble guy. 

"You're more entertaining." She said as a voice came over the comms.

"Commencing deployment now." Fisto said as I gripped the customised blaster rifle. It was mostly similar to the DC15A, just some small minor differences which I got down pretty quickly.

And with that I jumped, following Ahsoka.

Once we entered the water, we swam towards one of the underwater speeders, Ahsoka went towards the controls as I grabbed onto it's side.

We quickly sped down towards the Battlefield under us, the 2 SCUBA Companies following us. 

I connected a hook with was on the SCUBA-Armor to the speeder as I let go, simply being dragged by it's side.

I then grabbed my blaster with both hands and aimed, opening fire on the closest Quarren. I shot 5 shots, all of whom missed. But I had gotten the hang off how to aim. Laser was slightly slower underwater, so I needed to predict their movement more.

And with the 6th shot he was down.

"Wow your aim is terrible." Ahsoka joked as she crashed into a droid, shooting it from point range with the speeder.

"I'm used to it now." I said as I took aim again and shot 2 shots, taking out another Quarren.

The plus size of being underwater, was that to move. Most of the Quarren needed to use their feet and hands to gather momentum, and if you were shot at without momentum. Then it's the best shot that wins. 

And luckily, my shot was quite good.

We circled around the Battlefield a third time as I picked off my 12th kill. Ahsoka then suddenly shifted the speeder, and headed towards the person I identified as Anakin.

I unhooked the hook as I held onto the speeder with my left arm, while aiming straight ahead, shooting at the 3 Quarrens and 4 Aqua Droid attacking an unhelmeted Anakin who couldn't breathe.

"Go for the helmet." I told Ahsoka as I let go off the speeder and aimed at the incoming hostiles.

Luckily they were grouped up and I didn't need to aim too much. Anakin also took out 2 Aqua droids by repelling 4 shots into them. 

And as such, all that was needed was 10 shots, 3 of them took out the Quarren. And 4 took out the 2 Aqua Droids, and 3 missed. 

At the same time, Ahsoka reached Anakin and delivered the oxygen mask.

I swam over as I heard.

"I had it under control.. Snips." Anakin said.

"Hah, I knew you'd say that." She said as she drove over to me, to pick me up.

"General." I said as I did a quick salute. Just before I had to grab onto the speeder as Ahsoka rushed off towards another target.

"Ahsoka, Vaughn. Cover the Prince, I´ll go help the Senators." Anakin commanded us.

"Understood, General." I said

"Got it, Master." Was Ahsoka´s reply as she spun us around and headed towards the backline of our defences. Where the Prince was, shooting at something.

As we got closer, we noticed what it was.

The Shark Ambassador of the Separatist.

I aimed my gun with my right hand as I held onto the speeder with my left, as we sped towards him.

I shot 4 shots, which forced the Ambassador to halt, as unlike the Prince who was getting charged by Riff Tamson. We were at his side, the perfect place to halt any progress by a shooter.

And him slowing down allowed us to pick up the Prince and fly away as Riff chased us.

"Get on!" Ahsoka shouted as we sped past the Prince, whom grabbed on.

However, Riff was on our butt as he tried to eat the Prince.

I turned my weapon around, as I laid it on my left hand, while holding it with my right. Which allowed me a steadier shot as I shot at the motherfucker, forcing him to evade.

And a final push from Ahsoka allowed us to jump into one of the water tubes, while he was forced outside.

However, for some reason. The Shark was just as fast as he smashed into the tube from the other side repeatedly, attempting to break it.

And that, coupled with the Aqua droids whom had just appeared infront of us, forced Ahsoka to let go off the speeder, which smashed into the Aqua droids, killing them and destroying the speeder.

But Riff Tamson was still a problem.

"Prince, North West, 7´oclock." I told him, as Riff smashed into the tube from that area.

"We're safe inside the tube." said Prince informed us.

Riff then proceeded to smash into the tube multiple times, until he came in for the final run.

"You sure about that?" I asked as Riff smashed into the tube, breaking a small area of it which allowed his head in.

I smile under my helmet as I raised my blaster and shot 3 shots into his skull.

And at the same time, some Mon Calamari soldiers came and opened fire on Riff.

And somehow, he just shook my laser dumping into his skull and attacked them.

"Commander..... He just shook of 4 blaster bolts to the head..." I said slowly as I turned to her, and I could see even she was shocked.

"I saw." She said.

I turned my eyes from Riff slaughtering the troops and said.

"We should get out of here, Ma´am" I told Ahsoka and she nodded, before swimming off. 

I activated my boosters as I headed after them. 

And with that we headed back to base, only to find out that the Senator is injured and we lost about 50% of the Mon Calamari, and 40% having split off from the main force somehow.

The Separatists had managed to jam all Mon Calamari transmissions, which made it next to impossible to organise all the troops.

Luckily, the Quarren had decided to retreat, or regroup. But I knew for a fact that we had already lost the Battle. And I didn't need to know the future to know that, it was in plain sight. 

And when the Hydra Medusas arrived, where King Lee Char decided to focus fire on them, which was stupid without any heavy weaponry or artillery.
