Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

As he prepared his campaign, Feng Mo noticed a new update on his Spark System panel: a temporary mission.

The Lizard Star System was a mid-sized system entirely inhabited by the Lizardfolk. Ruthless and predatory, the Lizardfolk had eradicated all other species within their territory. Since they lacked productive capabilities, they traded resources from their system's planets for food and slaves with neighboring systems.

The system contained four habitable planets, but only the primary one, Lizard Prime, housed the Lizardfolk population. The other planets served as areas where they kept and raised their livestock and slaves.

Feng Mo had long been disgusted by the Lizardfolk. Though technically a humanoid species, they were cannibalistic and unhesitatingly devoured even their own. Feng Mo decided it was time for them to disappear from existence.

The Storm Fleet, with twenty-eight warships, departed for the Lizard System, accompanied by a logistics fleet of three hundred ships, mainly T4 and T3 transport vessels, to haul back bodies.

The Lizardfolk were a bloodthirsty race who derived joy from hunting and killing. Their hunting grounds covered nearly 80% of Lizard Prime, with the remaining 20% used for habitation. Even young Lizardfolk would hunt for sport, enjoying the thrill of the chase before killing their prey. But their hunting was soon interrupted by an ominous explosion near their starport, sending fire and debris soaring skyward. Terrified, young Lizardfolk abandoned their hunt, running toward their interstellar vehicles for safety.

When the Storm Fleet arrived in the Lizard System, they encountered no resistance. Feng Mo wasted no time in issuing battle orders:

"Mello, take the four T5 Xuan Bird stealth bombers to Lizard Prime and eliminate all planetary defenses."

Once again, Feng Mo employed his signature tactic—a surprise strike with the Xuan Bird stealth bombers. For Mello and her sister, it was an exciting debut for these powerful new warships, each fitted with formidable armament. The four bombers infiltrated the Lizardfolk's starport without detection, where a large number of Lizard warships and three T5 Mechanical Tribe warships lay docked.

"Two Xuan Birds from the north to south, and two from west to east—let's begin!" Mello ordered, grinning.

In the skies over the starport, a rain of interstellar missiles pounded the landing zones, erupting in massive explosions that swallowed buildings, ships, and countless lives. The sisters concentrated on destroying the three T5 Mechanical warships, bombarding them with a devastating combination of neutron missiles and antimatter annihilation missiles.

The first wave of antimatter missiles shattered their shields, followed by neutron missiles that obliterated the hulls. The three T5 Mechanical warships were blown to pieces, and the entire starport was engulfed in flames, leaving only wreckage and ruin.

With the Lizard starport in shambles, Mello led the Xuan Birds to finish dismantling the remaining planetary defenses. By the time the Storm Fleet arrived, the battle was nearly over.

"Orca, deploy all drones for a ground assault. Feng Xian, lead the mecha squad and ensure every Lizardfolk on Lizard Prime is wiped out. All bodies are to be loaded onto transports," Feng Mo commanded, his voice icy.

Over time, Feng Mo had become increasingly callous. Perhaps it was inevitable for a fleet commander. He had seen countless lives lost and made decisions that sealed the fates of entire worlds. Now, his heart seemed hardened to the point of apathy.

No one questioned his order to exterminate the Lizardfolk. Most of the Storm Fleet's captains had once been enslaved, treated as nothing more than property. Feng Mo had freed them, taught them about starships, and led them to victory time and again. To them, he was nothing short of a god, and they would follow his orders without hesitation.

Thousands of drones swarmed over Lizard Prime, raining down missiles and unleashing gunfire on fleeing Lizardfolk. Mechas, towering at 47 meters, crushed the two-meter-tall Lizardfolk underfoot as if they were mere insects. Those who tried to resist with laser rifles could barely scratch the armor of the assault mechas before being mercilessly slaughtered.

The operation continued for most of the day. When drones ran low on ammunition, they returned to resupply and resumed their relentless attack. Only the Lizardfolk were targeted; other humanoid captives were spared and rescued afterward.

Once the mission on Lizard Prime was completed, Feng Mo dispatched his fleet to the other three habitable planets in the system to free any captives. This campaign resulted in the retrieval of billions of bodies and the liberation of millions of sentient beings.

With the Lizardfolk eradicated, Feng Mo submitted a request to the Federation to rename the Lizard Star System to the "Northwind System." He assigned Hua Qin and half of the Beast Roar Fleet to secure the area. For now, Feng Mo had no immediate plans for the system, given

that there was no one left alive there.
