Chapter 22: Aftermath?
Ayesha twists her head all the way around to face Alex, her eyeballs were wide open from staring at him.

'When will this be over' Alex barely gets up from kneeling on the ground.
'Once I'm below 20, I'll lose consciousness, right? Thankfully, it seems like I've avoided the worst-case scenario.'
Ayesha immediately jumps at Alex recklessly, like a hawk diving straight towards its target. But her aim was way off, she lands a meter away from Alex, straight into the ground.
Her face was smashed into the ground, but she gets up like nothing happened. Unlike before, her face looked dead, with no emotions at all. The only thing that could be seen was her mumbling nonsensical words to herself.
"If I fail I'm dead, I have to kill this human, dead, he has to die. Why is he still alive. Die, I have to kill him, only I can do. If I fail I'm dead, he has to die."
Her death stare never weakened. She gazed at Alex, as if to rip his very soul into nothingness.
She kept charging at Alex again and again, each time breaking her bones, neck, or peeling her skin off. She didn't care at all, her speed remained fast and agile.
Meanwhile, dust was all over Alex, his breath getting extremely heavy. So far, he had managed to dodge all of them, but his speed was starting to slow down
"This is getting tiring, I have to kill her for good"

"If only I had a sword," Alex mutters as he notices something, a kilometer away.
'This should work!'
Quickly back on his feet, Alex spits on the ground, staring at Ayesha.
"Oi, is this all you got? You're too weak."
Upon saying those words, Alex quickly runs toward the place he saw earlier. Ayesha naturally follows him like a maniac, not sparing a second thought for her safety.
After a while, Alex stops and flares his hands wide open, as if calling her to jump at him. Ayesha comes flying like a hypersonic missile, heading straight toward him.
When she's almost close, Alex quickly tries to get away from the spot.
Behind him is a huge stone. Since Ayesha is blinded by revenge, Alex figures she has lost control of her awareness. It's a gamble he takes, and it pays off.
She charged straight towards the stone, colliding with it at full force. The impact sent a shockwave through the air, and finally meet her doom, she stayed there motionless for sometime until it was over.

Alex leaned against a nearby tree, taking slow breaths. His mind was calm, knowing the enemy had been defeated, and for now, he didn't have to worry about anything.
As a leaf fell from the tree, Alex had already long fallen asleep.

"A mere human defeated Ayesha?" The mysterious being sat on the throne, staring at the candle, filled with purple lines and black marks all over. The being carefully watched as it slowly lost its flame.
"Valkarth, go and bring me that person's head."
A huge serpent-like creature came out flying, with limbs like a dragon but a face resembling that of a King Cobra. As it drew closer, it bowed down and kneel before the mysterious being.
"As you wish, Master"
After getting up, it slowly transformed into the form of a human. It wore gold armor with a red crest in the middle, sharp pauldrons on the shoulders, and long, wavy dark curly hair.
His eyes were pure white, almost as if he couldn't see. As he fully transformed into a human, his eyes slowly shifted from pure white to normal human brown.
But even though his eyes had turned human, the sharpness of his gaze remained. Any sane person would immediately be unsettled just from staring into his eyes.
Then, out of nowhere, a cloak appeared and draped over his back. It was a green cloak that covered all of his armor, except for the front.
There was a massive 30-foot-tall door, with four giant knights standing guard. Once Valkarth was ready, he approached the door.
The door was so heavy that even the four giants struggled just to slightly open it.
Impatient, Valkarth effortlessly pushed the door aside and casually walked through. The giant knights fell down like weightless paper.
Valkarth walks out of the cave, his movements were quick and smooth. Every time he jumps, he leaps 30 feet into the air, landing quietly on the other leg before jumping again. It looks like he's walking, but he does it with a power and speed that seems almost unreal. What's more, his hands were behind his back, almost as if he wasn't even giving his all.
In no time, he finds his target. Alex was peacefully sleeping, leaning on a tree. Seeing him asleep, Valkarth silently landed on the ground and, in the blink of an eye, rushed toward Alex to cut him down
[Quick Dash]
Like a mirage, Alex almost vanished into the air and retreated 5 meters away from Valkarth.
'Thanks to the system sending me an alert, I was able to prepare in time. Just who the hell is this guy now?" Alex stared at the man who had attacked him out of nowhere, feeling a mix of confusion and anxiety.'
'He's quite fast for a human, I must admit, but did Master really send me to deal with someone like him?'
'He has a very weak body, zero fighting experience, no skills, and hardly any mana." Valkarth looked down on Alex, almost disappointed by the opponent he was facing.'
Valkarth, in his human form, was around 6'7, so when he looked down on Alex, who was around 5'8, it felt like a child fighting an adult.
Alex quickly activated Sage Eyes, scanning Valkarth, but he couldn't find even the slightest weakness. He could feel some mana emanating from Valkarth, but wasn't sure what it was.
"Who are you? Why did you attack me out of nowhere?"
'Why would a human attack another human? I've hardly met any others, so why did he attack me?'
Lost in his thoughts, Valkarth appeared out of nowhere. Before Alex could even react, he was sent flying, crashing hard to the ground.
