Aries started at the invisible screen in front of him, his mother was talking about something in the back but he wasn't paying much attention.

"Aries? Everything good?" His mother asked

"Yeah just... You can't see that?" Aries pointed at the screen with the knife in his hand

"See what?"

"The system screen in front of me"

"I don't see anything"

[Insert command for item merge] the screen changed, now asking Aries for the command for merging.

"Merge" Aries muttered, suddenly a yellow light appeared on Aries's hands, they then floated to the centre where they collided. The light then turned green, after a couple of seconds the light vanished and instead, there was a weird abomination between a fork and a knife hovering where the light was. Aries reached his hand to grab the object, and once he touched it the screen lit up again.

Aries stared at the last message the system showed for a good minute before his mother snapped in front of him

"Aries! You haven't answered my question yet!"

"Oh! Please say it again"

"I was asking what your power was before all the light shenanigans happened, but from what I see you can merge items together, is that right?"

"Ah! Yeah, I can also fuse with them" Aries said as he instinctively put the knork in his pocket

"Wow! So you've gained the weapon attribute from your father" his mother said while smiling sadly, she remembered her husband whenever she saw Aries, and him inheriting the weapon attribute just increases the resemblance

"Oh right! I gotta ask you. Do you know a Cole Blackstone?" Aries asked, now remembering that name

"Where did you hear that name?" His mother asked, with fear in her eyes and her lips shaking is it does whenever she's stressed, she approached Aries and grabbed his hands tightly "This name belongs to your grandfather, he swore he would hunt us down for defying his orders and marrying your father. Do not say that name again"

"But why?" Aries asked, now noticing that neither of his parents told him about the Blackstones

His mother opened her mouth to say something, but before a sound could come out a large explosion was heard in a distance, two seconds later another one was heard closer to them, then another and another, gradually getting closer. Before any of them could react, the wall next to them exploded and a man was thrown into their living room. Aries recognized the man as a small villain called Dart, another man was walking into the living room, but Aries couldn't see his face due to the smoke created from the explosion

"Are you fellas okay?" Asked Dart while standing up

"Y-yes" Aries replied

"Aw come on! Don't mind these civilians, they won't give me the rush of fighting back. You, on the other hand, would give me both the rush and the fame" the man said as he started walking towards the three of them. When the smoke dispersed, Aries was left shook by the man in front of him, as he was none other than Mitchel Hugh, hero name Bombard, the number 3 of the Flame guild, a guild which only accepts fire attribute powers.

"Please Bombard, I didn't do anything this time, I was just submitting a complaint. And these people didn't do anything, please let them go" Dart started trying to reason with Bombard but bombard looked bored, he then compressed his hand summoning a fireball into it

"All you people do is talk, you call yourself the Anti-hero guild union but you don't even fight us. So, I brought the fight to you. And guess what? All this destruction will be blamed on you" Bombard said as he threw the fireball into the direction of Aries

"NO!" Dart said as he blew a dart in front of Aries which directly hit the fireball, making it disappear

"Aw come on! There's no fun in it if you just negate my powers" Bombard said as he started summoning another larger fireball, he then held it in his hands up and said "Now this would be fun" he then threw the fireball as hard as he could onto the ground
